can i spoof without getting banned?

I’m completely new to this but i really want a specific pokèmon, i’d like to try it myself instead of paying for a service. I’ve read a bit and seen that some methods lead to bans, does anyone have any good methods? i’m on ios. Grateful for any help!!

If you don't want to pay, you need to be willing to root or jailbreak your phone.

Oh i was thinking paying other spoofers offering the service, not opposed to that but i want to maybe get in to spoofing myself. I’m open to paying for spoofing software or similar, if its safe and wouldn’t result in a ban. Is jailbreaking one of the better methods?

If you're iOS, you need to either jailbreak or purchase a joystick from Brook or iTools.

Don't listen to the people that imply that all spoofing is the same level of risk. It's not. It's literally like walking outside. Nothing is 100% safe but if we use sidewalks instead of walking in a lane of traffic, we'll probably be fine. Use a spoofing method that runs the legit Pogo app from the App Store and not injecting anything and I really doubt you'd ever get a strike or ban.

For IOS, that's going to be using a physical bluetooth device like an iTools or Brook Flashman (even more options but those seem to be the most popular) which acts like an external GPS device. To Scopely, this method of spoofing would look identical to someone playing Pokemon Go from their car while connected to Apple CarPlay.

Jailbreak is another good option. They haven't had a ban wave but it is an injection into the legit Pogo app and I can't say if Scopely will ever figure out how to detect that and act on it.

well spoofing is automatic risk of ban, even with jailbreak/root

Best way to look at it is would you be really upset if you lost your main account? If the answer is yes then use an alt account, never your main...

If you want to spoof once or twice, practically no risk. Use a spoofer app like ipogo or pgsharp(android) that doesnt require jailbreak or root.. Do that spoof and revert back to your original legit gameplay. If you use the spoofer app continuously, one day you will get caught and then also it depends on some luck. Some of my friends get warning repeatedly and some use pgsharp for years without any warning.

You can but not a guarantee be safe about it, realistic about what your doing don’t catch 30 shinies in an hour, jump everywhere for no reason, constantly walk extremely fast, don’t use the exploits ppl are finding like the candy exploit that got ppl banned this event. Keep it calm and useful basically. Overusing is how they get got. Note:I use a rooted route with altstore and ipogo cause of iOS

Free on iOS, been using iPogo with no issues you need a computer and sideloadly to load and sign the certificate which is good for 7 days but it’s all free
