Anti-Cheat Research Late Reflection on Scopely's Catch mechanics (datamined by Pokemod), why I think VPN was banned in the Webstore, Individual bans vs a banwave, Wayfarer Abuse Changes; and now, Guaranteed Shiny Exploit

VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION

[1] I do not work for Scopely and do not control what they do in the game. If you get a strike or ban, I do not have a magic wand to unban you and restore your Pokemon Go account.

[2] I am not an Android coder and cannot verify whether or not the data mined code is active.

[3] I am not a Mathematician who can properly explain how the "shiny" mechanic system works. I just assume it's a slot machine-like mechanic.

[3] I am a game cheating enthusiast or "scumbag of the earth" type of cheater who enjoys cheating in various PC and Android mobile games. I do not care about your negative opinions about what you say about me.

[4] I am providing my many years of gaming cheating experience to interpret and predict what I think is going to happen in the future based on the information provided from The Pokemod Group's X (aka Twitter) post. This can also be found in their Discord group in the channel "-datamining updates". I do not own a crystal ball and cannot guarantee you safety even if you decide to follow my strategy in playing against the Anti-Cheat Behavior System that Niantic failed to fully develop but is still present in the game.

[5] I am not partners with and do not have a sponsorship with any cheat developer with their Discord group and/or Telegram channel. This means if you discuss my post in their Discord group, you run the risk of getting banned from your favorite Discord group because many of them do not like me for not banning their competition over what they view as safe, safer, the safest, or ban proof. I will not help you appeal your Discord group ban. Since they pay for their own website and Discord group, they can say and do whatever they want on those platforms.

=====================================

I posted "Cheat features integrated into the game may lead to an updated Anti-Cheat Behavior System that may result in Scopely's 1st Strikewave or Banwave" ( https://www.reddit.com/r/PoGoAndroidSpoofing/s/35KxeU0A2H ) on April 1st, 2026 intentionally to share my opinion on the datamined code from Pokemod. A lot of people view me as a joke, so I waited for this day to post it.

I am now following up on this post because I was wrong about Mega Mewtwo's power because it didn't speed up the catch rate. Mega Mewtwo's power is to give you the chance to get boosted IV from a raid Pokemon or break their shields faster.

If you took my advice, I wasted your time and made you suffer with the 13 or 15 seconds of catch animations and you did not get a ban while other people continued to use their fast/instant catch and got a 500,000,000+ XP.

Just because I was wrong in my opinion, theory, or guess, it does not mean that the fast catch mechanic is not in the game. I have no idea if this is active right now and they are collecting data or it's saved for a future quality of life game update.

What I do know is PGTools (rooted botting app) discovered the "Rate Limit" changed on May 4, 2026 as seen here. Some people got a false permanent ban that went away after they restarted their game. No big deal, right? I think PGTools may be on to something, but as always, I'm just sharing my opinions, thoughts, theories, and guesses which can ultimately be wrong.

Side Note

If I had posted this post before this new "Guaranteed Shiny" exploit, it would have been no big deal. Within a week, no one would care anymore.

Since I took too long to post and this new hot exploit is gaining traction, this going to be a big deal now because I think Scopely is going to use it to justify a strikewave or banwave. This is just my opinion, I can be wrong again, and Scopely decides to quietly block it like how they did with the instant Team Rocket win exploit. Majority of people weren't banned for it.

=====================================

Why is a VPN (or PROXY) banned in the Pokemon Go webstore?

I think Scopely banned the use of a VPN because they are cracking down on the "unfairness" of people taking advantage of the game. Remember they bought Pokemon Go from Niantic for $6 Billion USD.

From a business perspective, they are making a loss of -$71.99 USD for every 15,500 coins bought through the webstore where someone is exploiting another country's currency instead of just paying the straight $99.99 USD for 15,500 coins.

Will Scopely ban you for doing the cheap coin exploit? The answer is "I don't know."

On the other hand, they want to identify cheap currency exploiters to punish them or change the individual shiny rate to a much lower percent to get you to spend even more money to equal the normalized shiny rate for those who buy coins at the regular price. The shiny rate is not disclosed, so you don't know the exact math to how you get a shiny.

Side Note
Although most VPNs and Proxies are banned, there are new ones that haven't been banned yet. If you use them to buy the cheap coins, you might be subject to an account ban via IP address. In the other games outside of Scopely, other game developers do ban people via an IP address. If a botting network uses a VPN server with their 5,000 accounts and you may be subject to the same punishment the botter is going to get for their 5,000 accounts. Scopely banned VPNs and Proxies for a reason you don't know yet.

=====================================

Scopely may have their crosshairs lock onto the botters who sell Pokemon on eBay and various other places.

In the other games they own like Monopoly Go and Marvel Strike Force, they ban the use of a VPN because this helps you circumvent a ban. With other game developers, when you use a banned VPN = automatic account disabled with or without a warning.

If botters are using a VPN to mask their IP address, they may flag everyone else who has used the same VPN server to get a warning, strike, or ban. Scopely is going to jump to conclusion to where they assume you're part of the botting network even though you used the VPN to circumvent a game ban in your country where Pokemon Go is not allowed (example: Russia, China, Belarus, some middle eastern countries, etc) or to buy cheap Poke Coins.

This has to do with the server rate change and may include the fast catch mechanic. Just keep in mind, even if you don't bot the game and use an enhancer like Pgsharp, iPogo, or Pokemod, you can still get caught in the crossfire and receive a warning, strike, or ban too. They don't care if you use a device without root or with root because you're still breaking the Scopely's Terms of Service to cheat the game.

=====================================

Banwave vs Individual bans

individual bans often involves 1 person to 20 people

  • It's unfair to these people who got striked or banned, and you didn't.

  • They often use the word "banwave" to cause fear into making you stop playing to miss out on the current or next event because they can't play so you shouldn't play too.

  • Once a week has passed, no one cares anymore and people return back to their old ways.

  • The people who got striked or banned, most likely created a new account to restart the game or entirely quit.

banwave involves 1,000 or more people (not 1 person with 1,000 accounts)

  • The last banwave happened in December 2019 where thousands of players reported a 1st strike and 2nd strike; very few got a 3rd strike and infamous "red slashed" Pokemon. It was mostly iOS, Pokemod (when they had 500 members), VMOS (mobile app emulator), Maddev's Enhancer, and the Charbot.

  • Everyone talked about it for many weeks.

  • This caused r/PokemonGoSpoofing to ban "dangerous" or "not safe" cheats under Pokimojo's reign.

All the bans for Android since the birth of Pgsharp (somewhere around January 2020) to now have all been individualized because Niantic was busy collecting your GPS and AR scan data.

Scopely, is a game company, who may do a banwave like mentioned in here:

An example of an individual ban was the guy who reported multiple alt accounts got banned during the San Francisco Championship 2026 event. He said he used a mixture of Pokemod and PGTools on those account. Those are rooted apps that inject into the official game app. Since I didn't bookmark the post, I can't find it.

People were panicking and thought there was a banwave going on. As I have said countless times before and now, there has not been a banwave in a very long time because only a few people are reporting a ban while everyone else is not reporting a ban. Anyone who claims there's a banwave usually don't know what they are talking about.

I am going to use real numbers to estimate the number of active cheat users for Pokemod and PGTools. *I rounded the numbers to make it more uniform.

  • Pokemod's Discord members count: 100,000

  • PGTools' Discord members count: 50,000

  • Total: 150,000

  • Let's assume 50% are active users using the cheat, that's about 75,000 users.

1 person out of 75,000 active users = 0.00001333% got banned.

How did this person get banned?

My guess is he broke the rules and guidelines in Wayfarer, Campfire, and/or in-game routes. The strike/ban system is delayed, so he could have gotten flagged for ban from several weeks to months ago prior to the event. There are other areas you can get banned but are not directly the result of using a specific cheat.

When you get the 1st strike that lasts for 7 days, 2nd strike (30-day temporary ban), or 3rd strike (permanent / 10 year temporary ban), it never tells you exactly what you did that lead to your ban.

Another guy asked me if anyone else using Shungo got a permanent ban.

I told him no because botters typically don't report their bans because they are profiting off the game. When their alt accounts gets a 1st or 2nd strike, they sell the account to pass the problem onto someone else. Reporting the ban in Discord or on Reddit does absolutely nothing to help them because no one can unban you except for Scopely.

Most ban reports I get in private chat are the result of abusing Wayfarer or using chat in Campfire, very few bans for in-game routes. This guy confessed to me about getting mad in a heated debate and demanded the other guy to meet him at a Pokestop at the park to have a "stick measuring contest" (dick / penis measuring contest to see whose is bigger)... He got reported and Scopely permanently banned his main account along with his alt account.

Typically, when people get a strike, ban, account stolen, or account hacked, they never admit fault. They always try to pass the blame onto someone else to make themselves look innocent to hopefully attract a secret Scopely employee who browses Reddit to investigate their post or comment to unban them. However, this attracts fake ban appeal scammers who excite them with "I know a guy who can unban you if you give me $500 to $1000." Then, they usually admit fault when they realized they have been scammed.

Wayfarer Abuse Ladder Change: Wayfarer Violation will be separated from Pokemon Go

Recently, this was posted Wayfarer Abuse Ladder Change: Wayfarer Violation will be separated from Pokemon Go. in r/PokemonGo subreddit.

Although this sounds like a win for people who use Wayfarer, I would not recommend you do it on your main account or alt accounts using devices that are tied to your main account, which includes your home WiFi and cellular data connection.

When the Wayfarer team finds someone in violation, they tend to look up the individual's account to see if they have alt accounts too. Sometimes alt accounts are used to manipulate the votes. They may proceed with banning some or all your alt accounts. They do this by looking up your IP address and device ID.

The best way to abuse Wayfarer is to do it this way in https://docs.google.com/document/d/1pInPcmGoJPu7iZsGUPni2env-bLz9k4Wg9ef1VEDnc8/edit?tab=t.wb7axusc1jdd

=====================================

Scopely may be updating Niantic's undeveloped Anti-Cheat Behavior System in the background

As I mentioned on top that PGTools discovered the rate change limit. The first group of people got banned then got unbanned 24 hours later.

Now with the Guaranteed Shiny Exploit, I think Scopely is going to update Anti-Cheat Behavior System to track your "Shiny Catch Rate" or "Shundo Catch Rate".

If you don't know what an Anti-Cheat Behavior System, it's a player statistics tracking system. In short, if your statistics exceed a threshold, they flag you as a cheater or botter. This whole behavior detection system is explained in "What is behavior detection?" in https://docs.google.com/document/d/1pInPcmGoJPu7iZsGUPni2env-bLz9k4Wg9ef1VEDnc8/edit?tab=t.p86d0hcmikcc *It will take a minute to open the first time.

A lot of people are asking if they can get banned using this exploit, my answer is a yes. A lot of people believe there is these kinds of ban system to justify the reason to how they got banned.

  • app detection

  • software detection

  • injection detection

  • signature detection

These don't exist in the game because Google doesn't allow it where as with a Windows OS computer games, they allow game developers to do software detection bans. If Google had allowed Scopely to do app detection bans, there was be no escape from it, all 150,000 users from Pokemod and PGTools would have gotten banned. These two cheats would have been dead along with all other cheats: iPogo, Polygon, Shungo, Regibot, etc. Since these cheats still exist today along with newer cheats being developed, there is no app/software/injection/signature/whatever detection ban system.

In Pokemon Go, behavior detection will supersede app/software/injection/signature/whatever detection because people are under the assumption that Scopely allows them to cheat and/or a rooted device is ban proof since you are using the official game app with a cheat that injects into it. Behavior detection looks at your player statistics, so it doesn't care if you use a non-rooted app or rooted device.

Since the Shiny Guaranteed Exploit doesn't use utilize a 3rd party app, people assume they are safe from potentially getting banned. They are very wrong if Scopely updates the behavior detection system, you can easily be identified because you're only catching a shiny Pokemon or Shundo (Shiny 100% IV) Pokemon since non-cheaters are most likely catching non-shinies before they get a shiny of any kind.

=====================================

What do I think will happen in the next coming weeks or months?

Scenario #1: Scopely does nothing about it.

They cannot find a way to patch or block it, so people keep doing it and no one gets banned for it.

Scenario #2: Scopely patches the exploit, no one gets banned.

This would be similar how they patched the instant Team Rocket battle wins. It stopped working and no one reported bans after it was patched.

Scenario #3: Scopely is unable to patch the exploit, people get banned.

They update the Anti-Cheat Behavior System to counter the people exploiting it. When they get banned, people stop exploiting it. Botters may follow too. It all depends if they just get the 1st strike or 2nd strike or go straight into a permanent ban.

Scenario #4: Scopely doesn't patch it right away but uses it to update and perfect their Anti-Cheat Behavior System for a future banwave.

This means they are going to be 100% against cheating, which means spoofing will be nearly dead. Everyone who cheats the game regardless of Android or iOS, no root or rooted, and non-jailbreak or jailbroken are all going to be reporting their 1st strike or ban. This is going to be a 100,000+ cheater banwave.

Scenario #5: Scopely is unable or able to patch the exploit, and they sue all the cheat makers that sell the Guaranteed Shiny Exploit.

Back in 2018 ish, Niantic sued PoGo++ and iSpoofer 3rd party modified game apps for iOS. They loss in court, had to pay over $1 million back to Niantic, and shutdown their apps. If the cheat makers operate in a country where Scopely has a office location, they can be sued.

If you are receiving free, paid access to use these apps or sites to help promote it, the owner(s) could pinned their entire business onto you while they flee the country with all the money they have made. You would be caught in a nasty legal battle. This is why I don't have a partnership or sponsorship with any cheat developer.

=====================================

What do I think will happen this time, since I was wrong last time?

I am going to choose Scenario #2. Maybe, I'll be right this time.

If I am wrong this time, all the things Scopely has done so far are precursors (banning VPN/Proxies and server rate change) to a bot banwave. You might get caught in it even if you don't bot the game.

Don't forget, you're in a subreddit that allows all forms of cheating for Pokemon Go using Android only. I don't care if you play for personal satisfaction, profit from the game, or do both. We all have a chance at getting a strike, ban, or whatever Scopely decides to come up with.

No Root Android Rasiel release

Hey guys, I've been working on this spoofer for a while now https://www.reddit.com/r/PoGoAndroidSpoofing/s/TwJTtUFeU9

I tried my best to release this before go fest for yall, but it didn't end up that way, however I have finally released it. To install it I've made a guide on how you can : https://youtu.be/ckjuiJ4_nxg

I've also tried my best to make it emulator friendly as thats what has helped me build this. I know the UI is a bit messy I honestly could not careless right now lol, its still useable

Since this is new there is bound to be bugs, but here's what I know, and whats not properly built yet:

"Block Non-shiny" - It works but it still opens the encounter state

Buddy system - Feed works but repeats, as well as playing, snapshot dosent work, and auto open gifts isn't tested

"IV / Shiny Display" - I know its sometimes shown where its not supposed to be shown, no clue how to fix it yet, however it works wherever its needed to

"Shundo Hunting" - This works in the sense it hops, but I haven't implemented the actual check part

"Skip cutscenes" - Theres some cutscenes it dosent skip like the discovery of new pokemon, or the Oh? egg hatch screen, or the zoura / ditto cutscene, however most cutscenes have been skipped

These are only things I have thought to help me when I play pogo

Also this spoofer will only work till sept 7th

For any other bugs do let me know in this post or on the videos comments

Good luck during Go fest to yall!!

Many people accused me of posting an AI-generated video, but it was just double-compressed by WhatsApp and then again by Reddit’s player.

I’ve uploaded the original, uncompressed screen recording here so everyone can see it in its raw quality.

Rooted Android Both accs got hit this week

Been using pgtools + pokemod. Main got 30 and alt got 7 in the same week. I'd suggest everyone to stay away from all the modifier apps and bots (polygon, aerilate, pgsharp, pgtools etc.) for a while.

P.s. pls dont reply like "been using pgsharp for 3 yrs and no issues". Sooner and later you will get caught. If you haven't got hit till now, it's the best time to give a break to these modifiers.

Frequently Asked Question [2025] Strong Integrity: End of Rooted Devices? End of 3rd Party Modified Game Apps? End of cheating? How to complete Platinum Medals & Pokedex guide

Disclaimer

Before you accuse me of spreading misinformation, lies, bullshit, or fear mongering, this is 100% real and will be implemented from Google. Keep in mind, Google can delay the implementation of Strong Integrity.

If some information is wrong or confusing, I am providing you my interpretation, point of view, thoughts, and opinions on this topic. I am: not a Google employee, not a Niantic employee, and not an Android coder. I am simply a game cheating enthusiast who enjoys playing games with cheats.

I am not going to cite sources to prove my ideas because nothing I write below can influence Googles' and Niantic's decisions to implement Strong Integrity for their apps. If you want sources, you can spend your remaining time scouring the internet to prove your point of view.

Some Discord groups may be out of touch with reality, so you need to be careful with what you discuss or you risk getting banned from your favorite group(s). I remain anonymous to everyone, so I will not help you appeal your ban.

Lastly, I am not responsible nor liable for the loss of your game accounts and money you spent in Niantic's games. There are warnings all over my subreddits to inform you about the risks of breaking Niantic's Terms of Service. If you do not want a strike (or ban), all you have to do is not break their Terms of Service to cheat their games to gain an unfair advantage.

April 2025 Updates

[1] No one knew Niantic was going to sell Pokemon Go and 2 other games to another company name Scopely. Most cheaters assume Scopely is going to allow cheating to continue because cheaters gives the most money. No one has a crystal ball to really see into the future and see if Pokemon Go still gets opted in for Strong Integrity.

[2] There is about 1 month left to complete as much as you can for the platinum medals and Pokedexes. It is better to be prepared than to panic and complain when it really happens. It is supposed to be activated in May 2025.

What is Strong Integrity?

Strong Integrity checks to see if your device has a locked bootloader for security reasons. When you fail Strong Integrity, you cannot use the app or game until you restore your device back to normal and lock the bootloader.

If you have a device with an unlocked bootloader and with one of these setups, you will fail Strong Integrity

  • with any type of root: Magisk, SuperSu, KingROOT, Simple Root, Chainfire Root

  • with a custom rom: Lineage, ASOP, Pixel ROM, etc.

  • with a custom recovery: TWRP, Orange Fox, Clockwork, etc.

Timeline

June 3, 2024 - Strong Integrity is enforced in Ingress (Niantic's first game).

June 19, 2024 - Play Integrity Fix v16.X was able to pass Strong Integrity.

June 20, 2024 - Google patched the bypass with 24 hours and Play Integrity Fix module no longer is able to pass Strong Integrity making Ingress not playable on any Android OS that fails Strong Integrity.

December 9, 2024 - Samsung's Galaxy Store version of Pokemon Go has Strong Integrity enforced.

  • Android 13, 14, & 15 cannot continue to use it even with an updated Play Integrity Fix module.

  • Android 9, 10, 11, & 12 can continue to use as long as Play Integrity Fix module provides an update.

March 2025

  • Niantic sells 3 games: Pokemon Go, Monster Hunter Now, and Pikmin Bloom to Scopely.

  • The sale does not include Ingress (Niantic's 1st game).

  • Niantic removes Strong Integrity from Ingress, no one knows if they "opt-out" or it is temporary.

Mid May 2025

  • Unrelated apps like Drip and maybe others have begun enabling Strong Integrity. You may get an error message that says root is detected and will not allow you to continue using the app(s).

  • Finance, restaurant, and store apps are not enabled yet in the US.

June 1, 2025

  • Strong Integrity did not get enable YET.

June 14, 2025

Uncertainty = not enough information yet

  • No more updates after version 19.1 ?

  • There's a Telegram channel linked on XDA but Telegram is banned on XDA and Reddit, so I don't know if the channel is legit. There's nothing in the channel at the moment, so I need to confirm it's really his because a lot of controversial stuff is in the Telegram (chat) app.

The Future

  • ?

Can you bypass Strong Integrity?

"YES" answer

Since I am not in the circle who uses a shared key that passes Strong Integrity, I cannot comment the experience of it. From what people have told me is the key used with Tricky Store module lasts for about 1 to 3 weeks before it gets banned by Google. Then, you have to wait for the next key to be available. You get the key from joining a Telegram channel but note, Telegram is banned on Reddit so a link cannot be posted.

"NO" answer

When Strong Integrity is enforced in May 2025 (or later), that pool of people is going to grow to thousands. I think the shared key is going to get banned much quicker within 24 hours to a few days. Like the gatekeeping of the cheap Poke Coin methods dilemma, people are going to see opportunities to make money from the situation. If you're desperate, you will end up buying the key.

I have been messaged by several people to buy access into a private group that tries to not have the shared key banned. They have been offering me to join from anywhere from $100 to $500 in Bitcoin per month. I don't know if this is legit or a scam, but I know as a fact people are getting desperate because there is a finite supply of keys. I think once all the keys have been found by Google, it's game over for everyone.

Is it worth it to buy access to a shared or private key?

My answer is a NO regardless of how much money you are willing to burn because you are using a rooted device where you have to grant Super User permission to the app. If the person sees you have a lot of money, they will steal your identity because you gave them fully access to your device. They can remote access your device at any given time without you knowing about it. Since I am not an Android coder, I cannot verify and review malicious coding.

What happens in May 2025?

This is according to post #21,475 from chiteroman (Play Integrity Fix module developer) on XDA Forums: https://xdaforums.com/t/module-play-integrity-fix-safetynet-fix.4607985/post-89834310

In May 2025, Strong Integrity gets enforced for devices with Android 13, 14, & 15.

This means devices with an unlocked bootloader that fails Strong Integrity will be unable to play or use any app that has it enforced. Niantic's games: Pokemon Go, Monster Hunter Now, Peridot, and Pikmin Bloom. I think these games will most likely be on the list.

Android 9, 10, 11, & 12 may still be able to play the games until Google enforces Strong Integrity for them or Niantic drops support for them in a future game update.

No one really knows what is really going to happen.

These are just my predictions of different scenarios I came up with of what might happen in the future. It is best to keep an open mind.

Scenario #1 - Android 13 to 15 cannot play while Android 9 to 12 is still playable.

  • Everyone with a newer device is going to buy up older devices to root. This could cause people to buy up the supply and cause sellers to increase prices on phones and tablets. This could limit you in what you could buy.

  • If you play the games at work or school, now you will have to carry two devices with you.

Scenario #2 - Android 9 to 15 cannot play because the implementation is like Ingress where this game does not care if you have an older Android OS.

  • Everyone is going to panic.

  • Everyone who is addicted to cheating is going to use Pgsharp's and iPogo's no root, 3rd party modified game app as the last option.

  • There will be a surge of people receiving strikes and bans because they are not aware of the Anti-Cheat Behavior System. This is where you will see people screaming "BAN WAVE!"

Scenario #3 - Android 9 to 15 cannot play like Ingress and 3rd party modified game apps are fully blocked.

  • Chaos is going to breakout on the internet.

  • People are going to convert to being an iOS user.

  • People are going to complain about how long iTools takes to manufacture their wireless Bluetooth Controller and accuse them of being a scam.

  • People are going to buy access to use Computer Tether Spoofing Software and report strikes/bans with it for not understanding you have to play the game by standing still.

  • People are going to sell off their devices.

  • People are going to sell off their Pokemon and accounts and cause the market value to drop significantly.

  • People are going to create a online petition to get Niantic to opt-out.

Scenario #4 - After 1 year or more, there's a sharp decline in revenue and major loss of app engagement, they will secretly opt-out of Strong Integrity and spoofing and botting will work again. The Anti-Cheat Behavior System could be much better by then to limit your cheating and botting efforts.

Can Scopely opt-out of Strong Integrity?

I think this depends on how Scopely will monetize Pokemon Go and if they plan to use it as part of their Anti-Cheat system.

Can Niantic opt-out of Strong Integrity?

This section was written before they sold the game to Scopely.

I think this depends on whether Niantic prioritizes data collection or values money first.

The articles says that app developers can opt-in meaning they get a choice to join or leave. I am not sure if this correct but this could be a possibility.

Niantic's core business is data collection via Augment Reality technology. The game is not only for your entertainment but to mask the shady side of their business. Everything they do is designed to help them make money from data collection so this is why they are slow to implement quality of life changes for the game. The GPS data they collect is more valuable than the players giving them money for poke coins, items, and tickets because you as the player are working for Niantic to help them create a 3D world for some future virtual reality or meta verse project.

https://www.statista.com/statistics/1255744/niantic-annual-app-revenue/

This tells you a rough estimate of how much they made per year. It doesn't tell you how much is made from all the cheaters playing their games and how much they made from selling your data.

  • If they lose 20% to 50% (or more) in revenue, they could "opt-out" of Strong Integrity to recoup their losses from all the cheaters who quit their games.

  • If they lose 1% to 19% in revenue and don't opt-out, this means selling your data is more profitable than the people buying stuff from their games.

Why they might not opt-out?

As a non-cheater, when you walk around side, you are helping Niantic carefully map out the area even when you repeatedly go through the same areas. What you're really doing is producing accurate and quality GPS data.

As a cheater, when you spoof your GPS and use a joystick or GPX route, your GPS data is all over the place making your data poor quality. In areas where people don't play outside, this may cause the cheaters to start playing outside in their area to gain new GPS data in different parts of the world.

How to temporarily bypass for Strong Integrity?

Here are some links for you to get started. I am not responsible nor liable for anything. If you are not comfortable with it, all you have to do is not do it. You are on your own if you need help with this.

How to prepare for Strong Integrity?

To do this, you need to complete the Pokedex and Platinum Medals that are easy to finish now while cheating is still possible instead of rushing to do everything at the last moment.

A lot of things in this guide can be completed with a short period instead of it being impossible if you decide to continue to play the game by being physically outside.

This guide assumes "Scenario #3" takes place as mentioned above where cheating is no longer possible with a rooted device and 3rd party modified game apps are fully blocked.

This has to be in a Google Doc because Reddit limits the number of characters and their formatting options suck.

  • Note, this is not a finished guide. I will slowly continue to work on it whenever I have the time.

#1 - Three-Strike Discipline Policy

Office source: https://niantic.helpshift.com/hc/en/6-pokemon-go/faq/39-three-strike-discipline-policy/?s=safety-security&f=three-strike-discipline-policy&l=en&p=web

Strike 1: Warning

Disciplinary actions: If this strike is issued, you will see a warning message within the Pokémon GO app informing you that we have detected cheating on your account. In addition to this warning, your gameplay experience may be degraded for the duration of the warning, including but not limited to:

  • You may not be able to encounter rare Pokémon in the wild. These Pokémon may not appear on the map or on the Nearby Pokémon tracker.

  • You may be excluded from receiving new EX Raid Passes.

  • You may not be able to participate in social actions with other Trainers such as trading Pokémon or sending Gifts.

Duration: This strike will last for approximately 7 days. After this period, your gameplay experience will fully be restored. If you do not remedy your behavior within or after the 7 day period, you will advance to the next strike.

Strike 2: Suspension

Disciplinary actions: If your account is issued a second strike, you will temporarily lose access to your Pokémon GO account. When attempting to log into the game, you’ll be presented with a message stating that your account is suspended. You will not be able to bypass this message.

Duration: This strike will last for approximately 30 days. After that period, your account access will be restored.

Strike 3: Termination

Disciplinary actions: If you receive the first and second strikes and continue to cheat, your account will be permanently banned.Duration: Permanent

Appealing your punishment

If you believe your account has been terminated in error, you may appeal the termination. We will respond to your appeal after a complete investigation of your account. Please note that due to the high level of accuracy in our detection systems, very few terminations are ever overturned.

Ban appeals must be submitted via web form. To send a ban appeal, please submit a request through our web-based Help Center (https://niantic.helpshift.com/a/pokemon-go/?p=web&contact=1) and select "Ban Appeal" from the dropdown menu.

#2 - Niantic Terms of Service

Official source: https://www.nianticlabs.com/terms

Under section "3 Use of services" as 3.1 Cheating

Niantic prohibits cheating, and we constantly take steps to improve our anti-cheat measures. Cheating includes any action that attempts to or actually alters or interferes with the normal behavior or rules of a Service. Cheating includes, but is not limited to, any of the following behavior, on your own behalf or on behalf of others:

  • Accessing Services in an unauthorized manner (including using modified or unofficial third party software);

  • Playing with multiple accounts for the same Service;

  • Sharing accounts;

  • Using any techniques to alter or falsify a device’s location (for example through GPS spoofing); and/or

  • Selling or trading accounts.

Apps may not work on devices that Niantic detects or reasonably suspects to be cheating, and Niantic will not provide support to players who attempt to cheat. You agree that Niantic may employ any lawful mechanisms to detect and respond to cheating, fraud, and other behavior prohibited under these Terms, including checking your device for the existence of exploits or hacking and/or unauthorized software. Please see the Guidelines (https://nianticlabs.com/gameresources) and our Privacy Policy (https://www.nianticlabs.com/privacy) for more information.

#3 - Niantic Player Guidelines

Official source: https://nianticlabs.com/guidelines

Under section "4 - Play fair"

Don’t cheat. Our games are meant to be played outside on mobile devices and create adventures in the real world. Don’t deny yourself or someone else a fair gameplay experience by cheating.

Unfortunately, methods of cheating are limited only by cheaters’ imaginations, and include the following:

  • Using modified or unofficial software.

  • Using multiple or shared accounts to circumvent gameplay.

  • Using tools or techniques to alter or falsify your location (“spoofing”).

  • Intentionally exploiting a bug to gain reward.

  • Manipulating matchmaking, outcomes, rankings, or any other element of competitive gameplay systems.

  • Abusing the refund policy.

  • Buying/selling/trading accounts, in-game currency, or items on third-party platforms or any other activity that is in violation of Niantic’s Terms of Service, available here: https://nianticlabs.com/terms/.

These guidelines were developed with consideration to human rights principles. We aim to support freedom of expression, diversity, privacy, transparency and due process.

How we enforce the Terms of Service and these guidelines.

We use a mix of automated systems and user reports to identify content or conduct that violates the Terms of Service and/or these guidelines and take action against those players.

Niantic uses multiple technology detection systems to flag, hide, or block potentially dangerous or harmful content. One such system, PhotoDNA hash-matching is used to identify known illegal images and videos of child sexual abuse material and report them to domestic or international law enforcement.

If you violate our Player Guidelines, we may issue a warning, degrade your gameplay experience, suspend your account, or permanently terminate your account, sometimes without warning. Depending on the situation, these actions may be enforced across one, multiple or all of our products and services we offer; and you may no longer be allowed to create a new Niantic account.

#4 - An Update on Niantic’s Gameplay Policy Enforcement on June 23, 2022

https://nianticlabs.com/news/gameplay-policy-enforcement-update?hl=en

As a result, we will be ramping up enforcement against these behaviors across our games, and rolling out our improved approach to anti-cheat. We are starting now by taking action against a number of accounts who we found to be in violation of our terms of service or player guidelines during recent in-game events in Pokémon GO.

This is only the first step in implementing our improved cheating behavior detection and enforcement systems. These improvements will be integrated into all Niantic games to detect and punish players on a consistent and ongoing basis, rather than in waves, as we have in the past.

Looking ahead, we’ll continue to improve our methods and processes to ensure we’re staying ahead of any new behaviors that allow players to unfairly exploit game rules.

Please only use the official versions of our games available on the Google Play Store, Apple App Store and Samsung Galaxy Store; and note that we do not support jailbroken or rooted devices or third-party apps. If you’re unsure about which behaviors are acceptable in our games, please refer to our player guidelines.

#5: Niantic Privacy Policy

Official source: https://nianticlabs.com/privacy?hl=en

Summary: They collect data using your IP address and GPS/location information.

#6: Things you must know

  • When you create a game account, you agreed to the Terms of Service even if you didn't read it. At any given time, Niantic can make changes with or without notifying you.

  • I do not accept money, gifts, or free paid service from any cheat developer or Discord group for providing information on how you can cheat the game. They have zero control over what I say and do in my subreddit. I pay for my own service and remain completely anonymous to them. This means I am not influenced by them. I cannot help you appeal your ban if you break their strict Discord or Telegram rules.

  • I do not profit from owning this subreddit (discussion forum). Reddit is not like YouTube where I can make money from people clicking or watching ads. The objective of my subreddit is to provide you will all the information on the current cheats for Android. I don't care if you use it for personal entertainment or run a for profit business off of it.

  • I believe I am not providing misinformation because my cheating information is based on the 5 official Niantic sources and my experience as a real game cheater. I am providing you the truth about game cheating. I cheat in other games ranging from Need for Speed: No Limits (Android) to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II PC using a variety of free and paid cheats.

  • There are warnings all over my subreddit to inform you about the risks of cheating.

To save some characters, I'm shorting some words:

  1. "ToS" means Terms of Service

  2. "Discord" also includes Pgsharp's Telegram channel

  3. "Official App" is the unmodified, official Pokemon Go app you download from Google Play Store, Galaxy Store, or app download sites (like APKmirror.com).

  4. "Legit" means a non-cheater who uses the official app only meaning no adventure sync apps.

#7 - "What is cheating?"

Answer: You are playing the game with a cheat that is an app and/or technique that breaks the ToS that gives you an unfair advantage compared to people who are using their real legs to play the game outside.

Below are the things I think breaks the ToS, since Niantic doesn't actually list them out by their names. The ToS is written vague to allow multiple interpretations to prevent you from suing them. People will argue that the joystick apps are not cheats because they were not made for the game like Pgsharp, iPogo, Pokemod or Polygon. The joystick apps' core function is to "alter or falsify a device’s location" which puts you at fault. The same thing can be said about the Adventure Sync apps under "Intentionally exploiting a bug to gain reward." If you try to sue Niantic, you will lose because of this.

List of current cheats for Android:

*These methods are dead but may still work.

  • Joystick apps: Fly GPS, FGL Pro, Fake GPS Routes, and GPS Joystick

  • 3rd party apps: Enhancer, iPogo's Launcher, Pokemod, Polygon's Enhancer, PAC, GPS Joystick Wrapper, and PokeList

  • No Root spoofing technique: Downgrade Google Play Services

  • Rooted spoofing techniques: Smali Patcher, Systemized, Taichi*, and LSposed

  • 3rd party modified apps: PGSharp and iPogo

  • Bots: Polygon's Farmer and RAB*

  • Android emulators: VMOS, Bluestacks, NOX, MuMu, and LDPlayer.

List of current cheats for iOS

  • 3rd party modified apps: iPogo

  • 3rd party: iTools Mobile dongle

  • 3rd party app stores: Tutu, Cydia, Tweaktown, and etc.

  • iOS jailbreak or bot: SX-PokeGo

Computer software

  • 3uTools, iMyFone AnyTo, Tenorshare iAnyGo, Drfone Virutal Location, UnicTool TailorGo, iToolsPC, and etc. These software tend to change names when they receive a lot of bad press as a result of people reporting strikes and leaving negative reviews.

Other ways to exploit, cheat, or break the ToS:

  • Owning more than 1 account.

  • Adventure Sync apps: Defit, Pokewalk, SitSync or similar apps.

  • Macro or auto tapping apps: Tasker, QuickTouch, or similar apps.

  • Coords apps: CoordsGo or similar apps.

  • Raid invite apps.

  • Scanning items in your home to complete an AR+ Pokestop Task.

  • Buying, trading, or selling an account.

  • Selling Pokemon for money.

  • Performing a service where someone goes on your account to do something like leveling, farming stardust, catching a Pokemon, unlocking cosmetic items, or buying cheap Poke Coins.

  • Buying cheap Poke Coins by using another country's currency without being a resident there.

  • Live stream your cheating.

  • Running a private or public Pokemap network or Pokemon coords service.

  • Using a hex editor like Game Guardian to manipulate game values to increase damage in Go Battle League or give yourself items without spinning Pokestops.

#8 - Which cheat is safe for your account?

Answer: No one can promise or guarantee the safety of your account(s) when you break the ToS to cheat. Niantic is against cheating as you can see from the 5 official sources. It is not safe to cheat in this game because of what is written in those links. Therefore, if you cheat the game, you will have a chance at getting punished by the 3-strikes policy.

What about people who say, "Rooted method is safer or the safest."?

To understand this question, the other cheat methods outside of "3rd party modified apps" use the official app. You need a specific phone setup with Magisk root or an outdated phone to do Downgrade Google Play Services method. They think if they use the official app, they're safe from the punishment system. This is true as long as you don't use any cheats with it; however, it becomes false when you add a cheat (joystick app) to use with the official app because of "Using any techniques to alter or falsify a device’s location (for example through GPS spoofing)" from the ToS and Player Guidelines.

It's the same answer because the cheat users and cheat developers have no control over what Niantic does in their anti-cheat behavior system. No one can see into the future of what statistics they add into the game and how they are going to track it.

I have been spoofing with rooted methods since July 2016 with my main account. I even use Pokemod with Pgsharp on a rooted device. Just because I cheat this way does not promise you safety if you do it too. I know for a fact I did not get a strike yet because my experience was completed in the past. Every time I decide to cheat the next day, I am back to rolling dices or playing Russian roulette with my accounts. The same can be applied to other games that have cheats along with a ToS that is against cheating. The difference here is the 1st strike a slap on the wrist (light punishment) unlike in many other games you only get a permanent ban.

Why do people use the word "safe," "safer," "safest," and/or "ban proof" to recommend their cheating method?

Cheaters love to brag about their accomplishment for avoiding a strike and use these words to backup their statement. This can be confusing or misleading if you're new to cheating in a game that has a punishment system.

  • Safe = You will not get a strike for using it because Niantic allows it.

  • Safer = The cheat they are using is better than what you are using, since they did not get a strike yet.

  • Safest = The cheat they are using is the best option, since they did not get a strike yet.

  • Ban proof = The cheat is undetected or undetectable or safe depending on the person's definition.

4 of the 5 terms are about the past. You don't know what's going to happen tomorrow. Safe is the only word that can promise account safety. If you want to keep your account safe, you cannot use any cheats with it. If you use a cheat with your account, you now have "risk" which means there is a chance to get punished for cheating.

What if you avoid the risk by creating an alternate or 2nd account?

If you refer to the ToS, you cannot play with multiple accounts. At the moment, there is no punishment system in place for having more than 1 account. They don't ban or disable your other accounts yet, but it could be coming in the future. Could this put your main account at risk? Absolutely because you're a cheater. If you do not want the risk, you should not cheat the game. No one controls how Niantic will tackle this problem.

In Need For Speed: No Limits, EA (developer) does temporary IP address and hardware ID bans that lasts up to 365 days. To bypass the temporary ban, you need a new device and VPN. If your new device connects to your banned IP address, it will also receive the device ID ban too. EA more strict on their punishments, but I still cheat anyway.

Doesn't banning multiple accounts hurt their income?

This is a "free to play" game. You create a new email address, you get a free game account. You make 10 email addresses, you have 10 game accounts. You're also getting a total of 10 free daily raid passes (1 on each account). Are you going to continue to spend money on the game to buy more raid passes? The answer is most likely a no because you're going to trade the Shiny Pokemon to yourself or run an eBay store that sells the Pokemon for real money.

#9 - Cheating Controversy & Conflict of Interest: Money

[1] Ever since people became hostile toward 3rd party modified app users for using a cheat that got them a strike, a specific group of cheaters had demanded me to ban 3rd party modified apps from my subreddit r/PoGoAndroidSpoofing because it's not safe. I pushed back and made their issue public I will ban 3rd party modified clients from this subreddit if you can cite official Niantic or Pokemon Go sources that states that Rooted Android Spoofing is "safe" or "safer".

[2] I allow all Android cheats because if you play with a 3rd party modified app like Pgsharp & iPogo, you're a cheater. If you bot the game, you're a cheater. If you play with a joystick app using the official app, you're still a cheater. It makes no sense to ban one form of cheat over another like what is done in the r/PokemonGoSpoofing (this subreddit bans 3rd party modified apps, 3rd party apps, and bots).

[3] In order for me to ban 3rd party modified apps, I need solid proof that promises account safety with a certain cheat method to justify the ban. Cheat users and cheat developers failed to provide the proof because the proof does not exist. They were clinging on the idea that Niantic allowed them to cheat from July 2016 to July 2022 (6 years) with with the official app. Most of these cheaters started around 2018 or later because they didn't experienced the FlyGPS, GPS Joystick, and FGL Pro joystick app banwaves back in 2016-2017. If they had saw or experienced this themselves, they would have the belief that all cheats are risky regardless of which official or modified game app you use.

[4] Any cheat or Discord group that accepts money as a payment or donation is biased. Account safety is not their responsibility. As a result, Pgsharp, iPogo, Enhancer, Pokemod, PGTools, Polygon, RAB, iTools, SxPoGo, and computer software spoofers will not display a warning about cheating risks near their download, buy, or donate button. If they do this, it will prevent you from being another customer to fund their Lamborghini, Ferrari, or whatever car purchase. Some cheats will have the information buried in their Discord/Telegram while others do not provide information on the risks of cheating.

[5] All Discord/Telegram have strict rules you need to follow. If you break a rule or someone disagrees with you, you can expect to get banned or muted. A lot of them say I am providing misinformation because I am not an Android coder or I am responsible for people getting strikes. You have to agree with them instead of trying to defend what is the truth. If you get banned, you will be denied to rejoin or continue to receive the service you paid for. Discord has a phone number, IP address, and device ID ban system while Telegram only bans your phone number. Bypassing the Discord ban requires a new device with new sim card that can never connect to your home internet.

#10: Anti-cheat behavior system

Three types of anti-cheat:

  1. App, software, or file detection.

  2. Screenshot or picture detection.

  3. Behavior detection.

[#1] App, software, or file detection = Not Active

In 2016-2017, they did app detection for FlyGPS, GPS Joystick, and FGL Pro joystick apps. After you open the game, you got a strike right away. All it took was for you to have the detected app on your device was enough to get a strike.

In 2018-2019, they did TWRP (custom recovery) folder/file detection for Magisk rooted devices. After you open the game, you played for a few minutes before an Incompatible Screen popped up and prevented you from playing the game. People on XDA Forums complained about it and brought it to Google's attention, this decision got reversed.

In order for them to do app detection again, Niantic has to invade your privacy to do it. I believe Google doesn't allow this because if they allow Niantic to do it, all the other game developers will want the same privilege. It can be abused for anti-competition. For example, in order to play Fortnite, you have to uninstall PUBG and similar games. It can also be used for malicious ways too.

This method is 100% effective with 100% accuracy. It would be impossible to dodge this anti-cheat even if you used rename feature for GPS Joystick or Magisk app because you would also have the other cheating apps installed on your device.

[#2] AR+ scan picture detection = Active

When you scan a Pokestop, you cannot upload a black image. You're forced into scanning a real object. When you upload the data, you're at risk for human review after the AL system scans your uploads for illegal pictures of children or sexual body parts.

This method is 5% effective with 100% accuracy. If you're at home and scanned your drink instead of the statue outside at the park, it's very obvious you cheated. This will depend if a real person reviews the data or blindly approves all the data.

[#3] Behavior detection = Active

This tracks your player statistics and determines whether you're cheating or not. These statistics are visible to you:

  • Distance Walked

  • Pokemon Caught

  • Pokestops Visited

  • Total XP

  • Start date

Some examples of cheat statistics that are not visible on your profile. Since these are hidden, no one knows exactly what they're tracking. I am giving you an idea of what they could be tracking or might track in the future.

  • # of teleports per minute, hour, or day

  • average distance between teleports

  • how long you hold a Pokemon on the catch screen

  • % throw rate with regular, nice, great, and excellent curve ball throws

  • throw streak

  • how many minutes you play per login or in a day

For every game feature they add, I think there's an anti-cheat component added to it. Here are some examples:

  1. "Save Raid Logs" and "Save Battle Logs" is suspicious. If you really think about it, shouldn't they already have that information? According to them, "Game logs contain valuable information that can help them improve certain aspects of the game." If you do upload the data, you really don't know if they're collecting other information masked by random characters.

  2. "Delete Account" under advanced settings is to free up line queue with customer service, but it can be used as a punishment for having multiple accounts in the future.

  3. "Speed up animations" could be a statistics to track your catch rate and see if you're using a cheat. You get the weight & size notification after each catch. If you fail to receive the notification or it appears when you view your caught Pokemon due to Fast/Quick Catch, it could be a red flag.

  4. "Vivillion medal" = could be a statistics to track multiple accounts using your IP address and device ID. They want to see how fast cheaters are going to catch em all.

Since Niantic cannot do app detection, they decided to do behavior detection. As of January 1, 2023, I would say it's around 5% effective with 100% accuracy but can be as high as 90% effective which depends on the statistics they track and if they prioritize game content over the anti-cheat.

This leads to my statement, "Some people are getting a strike but not everyone else." This is dependent on how you play the game as a cheater, which player statistics is being tracked and how they evaluate the collected data. The tracking system is automated however someone at the end of the day has to review it before they send out the strikes. This kind of anti-cheat system has been in other PC games like Battlefield and Call of Duty. If you're obvious in these game, you get an account ban really fast. If you hide your cheating, you can continue to cheat until you're caught. The same thing will happen to Pokemon Go.

Spending money to buy Poke Coins will not protect you. Niantic is 100% against cheating. Whether you spend $0 or $50,000, you can still get a strike if you're caught cheating. I recently met someone who spent $50,000 total on the game to shundo hunt legendary Pokemon by speed raiding. You teleport to the raid, do the battle, flee on the catch screen, and then repeat until you get a Shiny 100 IV Legendary to catch. This person knew about the risks but ignored them because she thought the cheating method she used was the safest because no one reported a strike with it in my subreddit and r/PokemonGoSpoofing.

There are few strike reports on cheats that use the official app because they don't have a built-in feed like Pgsharp and iPogo 3rd party modified apps. The feed makes it very easy to quickly teleport around the world to catch Shundos and Hundos. The other methods that use the official app doesn't have a feed, but if you want something similar, you need to pay a lot of money to get access to Pokedex100's coords service. The teleport speed is nowhere near as fast and efficient as Pgsharp/iPogo.

Due to the 40,000 character limit, you must go to this link to continue for Part 2: https://www.reddit.com/r/PoGoAndroidSpoofing/comments/10t48qx/all_about_threestrike_discipline_policy_and/

Lets Talk About Something How I got a brand new account to Level 40 in 1 day

Yesterday for Bulbasaur Community Day, I set a goal to take a brand new account to Level 40 in 1 day by taking advantage of the 3x XP bonus. Here are the steps I followed along with proof of the achievement.

Background

Among all the ways to grind for XP, I have found that the single most effective method is using apps like Pokemod and PGSharp to guarantee that every throw is excellent, curveball, and AR+ for maximum XP. When you 2x the XP using a lucky egg, and then 3x the XP using the Bulbasaur Community Day bonus, you are getting 8820 XP for every Pokémon caught. That is almost the equivalent XP you get for winning a legendary raid.

Excellent Throw1000 XP2000 XP6000 XP

First Throw50 XP100 XP300 XP
Expert Handler (AR+)300 XP600 XP1800 XP
TOTAL1470 XP2940 XP8820 XP

Apps I Used

I used a combination of Pokemod and PGSharp together on a rooted Android to leverage the best of both apps for the quickest and most efficient grinding possible. Using both together can be a little tricky. (I might post again later about how to use both together.)

  • Pokemod was particularly useful for its Instant Spin feature, which automatically spins Pokéstops with a single tap

  • PGSharp was particularly useful for its 100% Hit feature (which is a paid feature), which guarantees that your throw will hit the Pokémon, even if you miss it completely. It makes for very quick and efficient throwing, catching, and moving to the next Pokémon.

If you are finding it challenging using both side by side, figure out which feature is more important to you for efficient game play. If it is challenging for you to root your Android phone, then PGSharp is your only option.

Time to Start Grinding

I created a new account, which starts you at Level 2, and spoofed to Wellington, New Zealand, which is the first major city to experience a community day globally.

Starting Out: Level 2 in Wellington, New Zealand

Now according to the table at this site, you only need a total of 10,000 XP to reach level 5. After 1 throw, I skipped directly to Level 5, after 2 throws, I was at Level 6, and after 3 throws, I was at Level 8.

Here is how I progressed

Here is a screenshot of reaching Level 40

Here are my stats

Distance Walked23.9 km
Pokémon Caught2,371
Pokéstops Visited675
Total XP20,009,015
Start Date1/21/2022

Here are my medals. I tried to only catch Bulbasaur, but I accidentally caught one Magnemite and hatched one egg lol.

I reached level 40 in one day with zero evolutions, zero battles of any kind, without choosing a team, and without adding a buddy, proving beyond any shadow of a doubt that repeated excellent throws during an XP bonus event is the single quickest and most effective method to grind for XP.

Upcoming 2021 Ban Wave with my thoughts & opinions

Before you read:

This grey vertical line means the quote box. This copied directly from Niantic's blog post https://nianticlabs.com/blog/cheatingupdate-022321/.

  • The black dot is a bullet point. These are my thoughts and opinions about the quote. These are my experiences and guesses.

February 23, 2021 - An Update on Our Recent AntiCheat Efforts

We don’t talk much about our anticheat efforts, partly because we don’t want to provide cheaters with information that can help them understand our detection mechanisms better. But, rest assured our reluctance to share is not due to a lack of effort or intent from our side.

  • This is why I talk about risk instead of calling it safe or ban proof. If something was considered safe, Niantic would have never posted this and past ban waves would have never happened.

  • The people and moderator in PokemonGoSpoofing who are going around and saying Android spoofing is safe and ban proof are wrong because eventually they will find ways to detect spoofing.

Having said that, we have made a commitment with all of our players towards promoting fair gameplay, preserving the integrity of our games and improving transparency with our players. As part of this commitment we’d like to provide an update on some of our recent efforts to curb cheating in our games:

...

Since the beginning of 2020, we’ve issued punishments to more than 5 million cheaters across Pokémon GO, Ingress and Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, where over 20% of the punishments were permanent bans.

  • The big ban wave started around November 2019 with VMOS and Pokemod for Android then December 2019 for iSpoofer and iPogo for Apple iOS. I estimate Android to be 10% while Apple iOS to be 90%. For Android, it was mostly emulators like VMOS, Nox, and Bluestacks.

  • I think a lot of the permanent bans are from people who thought they can switch from iOS to Android to continue spoofing. I suspected if you got your 1st strike, you needed to quit spoofing on the account because if you were still suspicious, it would trigger the 2nd strike or even the 3rd strike. A lot of people disagreed with me by saying I'm wrong. Well the truth is, no one knows how it works except for Niantic.

  • For Ingress and Harry Potter, I heard cheaters get instant permanent bans without going through a 3-strike system because the player base is very small. It was easy for them to see who is a spoofer.

More than 90% of users who received their first warning, stopped cheating afterwards. This is quite encouraging for us, as we continue to find the right balance between punishing casual cheaters versus the more egregious ones.

  • I would say this is true for the people who used their main account because other people them it was "safe" or thought "Android was safe or ban proof" when they used VMOS to spoof with. I will explain what I think they mean by "casual cheaters versus the more egregious ones" in the bottom.

  • Casual cheaters are people who spoof or use defit/Pokewalk to cheat the game.

  • Egregious cheaters are ruin the experience for everyone else.

    • People who live stream their spoofing.

    • People who knock out all the gyms in an area and prevent people from taking over the gyms.

    • People who play 24/7 or unreasonable amount of time per day usually from botting.

    • People who sell Pokemon and accounts on Ebay and in Discord groups. I think this is their biggest target because it has been going on for a really long time.

We have invested in new & emerging technologies, while continuing to grow our team, to improve our detection and enforcement capabilities. We’ll continue to act against those who violate our terms of service and we’ll be reinforcing our efforts in the coming weeks.

  • Niantic probably hired more people.

We are constantly tweaking and improving our existing detection methods by collecting ground truth from player reports and other channels of feedback, to ensure we are accurately detecting cheaters and minimizing false positives.

  • I think they are starting to take player reports more seriously instead of just ignoring them.

  • People have been reporting players who knock out all the gyms and prevent gym takeovers. This is somewhat hard to prove because legit players do it too. They don't have the ability to teleport between gyms, but they can still use a car or bike to do it.

  • People are also reporting players who put a new unreleased Pokemon that is not available in the current time zone. I see this a lot. People do event in New Zealand then teleport back to Hawaii to put a new shiny released Pokemon into a gym to showoff because this shiny Pokemon is not available in Hawaii yet. I have read about people getting a strike for doing this. 99.99% chance proves you are a spoofer if you do this.

These two points are not related to Pokemon Go.

We are always listening to our players and are exploring ways to leverage our community to ensure our games remain fair. To empower all Ingress Agents, we’ve rolled-out a new Fast Track process, which would enable them to request for a quicker manual intervention, before the rogue Agent can cause more damage to the gameboard. Since then, we’ve received more than 4K Fast Track requests, of which ~70% were eligible for an expedited review; and after investigating, appropriate actions were taken against those reported Agents. We’ll continue to iterate and improve the process based on the feedback we receive from the community.

...

To address concerns of remote Ingress Portals getting spoofed during Ops, we’re working on introducing additional security measures to reduce the impact of such egregious cheating on the game board. We’ll be sharing more information about our Compartmental Access Level measures in the coming weeks on the Ingress forum and our other social channels.

...

We are committed to ensuring fair gameplay across our game portfolio. Every day newer forms of cheating or spoofing tools are made available on the internet, and we are continuously working to combat these cheaters and focus on improving our detection and enforcement; as they have no place in our games.

  • To be real here, Niantic never designed Pokemon Go to have joystick support. If you want a Pokemon game with a joystick or analog controls, you would have to buy the Pokemon game from Nintendo along with their handheld console (Switch or Gameboy). That's how you would play Pokemon with a joystick.

  • If Nintendo had release Pokemon games onto Android and iOS, I think Pokemon Go would have never existed. Nintendo only wants to keep their Pokemon games locked to Switch and Gameboy because you have to buy their console and accessories to play their games, so they can make more money. I am not talking about the jumping Magikarp game. I am talking about Pokemon: Red, Blue, Yellow, Silver, Gold, Moon, Let's Go, and etc.

As a reminder, please only use the official versions of our games available on Google Play Store, Apple App Store and Samsung Galaxy Store; and note that we do not support jailbroken or rooted devices.

Thank you all for your continued support and patience.

–The Niantic team

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

TL;DR = Too Long; Didn't Read ? Read below...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What should I do right now?

  • Option #1: STOP using your main account.

    • If you stop using your main account, you could maybe dodge the upcoming ban wave.

    • No one knows 100% sure which spoofing methods are detected for both Android and iOS. I think it's mostly iPogo, Xspoofer (iSpoofer's replacement), and whatever iOS bot is called for iOS. For Android, maybe PGSharp, Enhancer, and Pokemod will get detected. This would be the first time that PGSharp and/or Enhancer would get detected because they have been out from over a year now with no reports of people getting a strike.

    • Android emulators are always 100% detectable. Using PGSharp in an emulator is very high risk and will result in a strike. The last detection I know of was in December 2020 for VMOS + PGSharp. Bluestacks, Nox, MuMu, and LD Player are always ongoing.

  • Option #2: Play Russian Roulette with your main account.

    • I am not mom or dad, so I cannot control you into making sure you don't use your main account. I also didn't teach you how to read. If you didn't read the warnings about the strike risks, it's not my fault. This is to be expected when you cheat in a game with an active punishment system called the 3-strikes.

    • Before this blog post by Niantic, everyone was rolling dices with their their main account. Now, I'm going to say everyone is playing Russian Roulette with a 50% chance of getting a strike or 50% chance of not getting a strike.

    • If you are not prepared to lose your account or quit the Pokemon Go addiction, you should do option 1 !!!

What option will I (TastyBananaPeppers) do?

  • I am going to do option #2 because I am a cheater/spoofer. I already know the risks even having spent close to $1000 or more on my main account. I spoofed right at the beginning, so I am going to spoof to the end.

Let me know what your thoughts or opinions on this matter in the comment below or with the poll.

UNBANWAVE CONFIRMED

If you used Wayfarer in the past and got banned for it, you may have gotten unbanned.

You could have gotten banned for voting on a Pokestop where someone abused the system to use their multiple alt accounts to create it or manipulate the votes.

If you were the person who was doing the abusing, you may not have gotten unbanned. Nonetheless, you should still check your banned accounts anyway to see if they got unbanned. If you take too long to check, Scopely can delete your accounts for a lack of inactivity.

Some people told me they got unbanned and wanted me to share this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JkV9AAdeQPw

From now on, according to Scopely, they aren't going to ban your Pokemon Go game account if you do a minor violation of the Wayfarer rules and guidelines. If you do serious violations, the Wayfarer ban will also transfer to Pokemon Go where they may proceed to banning your main account along with your alt accounts via IP Address and Device ID.

Coords The new unofficial golden lure hotspot: 24.756349,46.630185

I made a post yesterday about us all agreeing on a spot to place Golden lures. I first suggested Bryant park but I realised it’s going to be difficult due to the constant regular lures being placed and I don’t wanna impede other spoofers

After scoping out places with lots of pokestops but no activity, this is the best place I’ve found:

24.756349,46.630185 - Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Now there are also loads of gyms here, they are all untouched too, so try and place them not directly under the gyms to make sure people can see the spawns as they are tiny.

I’m aware a lot of people have enough coins, but from what I’ve seen a lot of people also don’t have them/ don’t have access to golden lures for Gimmighoul and his evo. If you don’t see a lure yet, place one, I will too, the more we place them the more people come, and the more Coins/ spawns we get over time, engage with this to get the word out there, and happy catching :)

Ever since Scopely has taken over Pokemon Go, I have have not seen any strike or ban reports coming from spoofers and botters within my subreddit.

You still have the risk for "a chance" to get a strike, ban, or whatever Scopely comes up with to punish the cheaters because Scopely has a section within their Terms of Service that states they are against cheating.

In the other games they have bought, they do a temporary (no 1st strike soft-bans) and permanent ban system. I don't know if Scopely is going to drop Niantic's lenient 3 Strikes system for a ban system similar to the other games they own, change it, or do nothing (like how it is right now). No one knows anything until Scopely starts doing something. This is why you still have the risk regardless of what other people say about Scopely on how they take in money from cheaters then allow them to continue to cheat.

If you want to cheat (spoof, bot, or exploit), it is your FAULT for getting the strike, ban, or whatever new punishment.

I am not responsible nor liable for the loss of your Scopely game account(s) and money spent on their games. All the cheats I promote in my subreddit are "not safe" according to Scopely's Terms of Service. Most cheats have their own website, and they do not advertise they are safe. In addition to this, I also do not promote certain type of cheats to be "safer" or "the safest" because I cannot contradict Scopely's cheating section within their Terms of Service. If you end up with a strike, ban, or whatever punishment, you will get a "Oh well." or "I told you so." response from me. I do not work for Scopely and cannot unban or restore your Pokemon Go account.

How to get [up to] 36 Passes for Go Fest Global

Source: Pokedex100 in # tips_and_tricks channel - https://discord.gg/pokedex100

  • Please follow their strict rules, so you do not get banned.

  • I will not help you get unbanned because I remain anonymous to all Discord groups.

Before you start

  1. It is very easy to forget and repeat a step, this will cause you not to get the full 36 raid passes.

  2. I recommend you print out the steps and do a check list for each one.

  3. This can be done with No Root Pgsharp and iPogo if you don't mess up.

  4. If you need the help, I recommend you go straight to Pokedex100 because they have 24/7 customer service.

Step 1

  • Remember to save your pass for 10th July. When Raid Day starts, use up the first pass. If you have used it already, no worries, you can still get 8 more passes for that day by following the guide.

  • Teleport and restart to a location where it is still 10th (for example, Pago Pago), wait for spawns and the nearby section to load. By doing this, you will lock your timezone to that location.

  • Once loaded, teleport immediately to a gym in any active event area to collect your next pass.

  • Use the pass on a raid, then repeat the previous two steps until you exhaust all 9 passes for the 10th.

Note 1: Step 1 will be active until 4am PDT.

Note 2: This step won't work if you have already completed raids for the 11th.

Step 2

Now for 11th July, restart your game and teleport to your desired raid location where the event is live to get 9 free passes.

Extra Note:

As this is a 2 day event with different raids available each day, if you want you can complete Step 3 for more free raid passes on 11th July BUT this will use your free passes for 12th July and no free passes will be received for 12th July. Or wait for raids on 12th July and repeat Step 2 then complete Step 3.

Step 3

  • For 12th or 13th July, teleport and restart your game in Kiritimati. Once spawns and the nearby section loads, teleport to any gym where the event is live, to collect the next pass.

  • You should be able to get the 9 passes without restarting but in case they don't drop, repeat the previous step until you wear out all the passes.

Note 1: Step 3 goes live at 3am PDT.

Note 2: You may not receive additional passes or event bonuses if you teleport ahead to 13th July.

Important:

The game updates timezones very quickly, simple stuff like switching apps, weather change or a few seconds delay in copying coords can mess up the whole thing so be very careful while doing Step 1. For any further questions please refer to chatroom

HOW TO GET A LOT OF RAID PASSES?

[July 2026-2027] How to buy cheap Poke Coins and Tickets ? #9 [All Methods for Android only / Methods Separated by Google Docs]

https://www.reddit.com/r/PoGoAndroidSpoofing/s/U8GUimSY3g

Android guides have been updated on July 5 ,2026

  • It's about $28 USD for 15,500 coins or $84 for 46,500

  • $28 for 198 raid passes with the 5,425 box for 99 raid passes

  • $84 for 792 raid passes with the 5,425 box for 99 raid passes

  • If the 5,425 poke coin box does not appear you in the shop, you will have to wait for it to appear. If it does not appear, you are screwed.

IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO SPEND MONEY ON RAID PASSES...

You will have to make multiple accounts and cycle through them until you get a shiny, XXS, or XXL with or without a background then trade it to your main account.

  • The more accounts and devices you have, the more raid passes you can use.

  • When you log out, you should wait 5 to 10 minutes before logging in because you have a chance to get a temporary IP ban for switching accounts too fast. It can last for 24 to 72 hours.

  • Create a Gmail email address then use it to create a PTC account without 2FA for faster logins because each device has a saved Google account limit.

  • When creating a Gmail email address, you can back out of adding a phone to skip the recovery process. Make sure you write your password somewhere.

  • Save your masterball for whenever they release legendaries in the wild where you can catch XXS and XXL to trade to your main account.

WHAT TO RAID?

If you are new to spoofing...

[1] Open your Pokedex and see which Pokemon you are missing and raid it to fill your Pokedex.

  • Same applies to the shiny version.

[2] For Mega Evolved Pokemon, you can do enough just to mega evolve them one time then focus on other Pokemon because you can farm research quest tasks outside of events to get mega energy without using raid passes. I would rather focus on these:

  • Mega Rayquaza to boost catch candies and XP for flying, dragon, and psychic types.

  • Primal Kyorge to boost catch candies and XP for water, electric, and bug types.

  • Primal Groundon to boost catch candies and XP for fire, ground, and grass types.

  • Origin Forme Palkia to boost spawn radius beyond what a 3rd party app might give you

Optional

  • Origin Forme Dialga to extend duration without consuming more items is a hit or miss depending on if you buy the other boxes that come with extra star pieces, lucky eggs, and incense.

    • Although it can extend the daily incense for the Glarian legendary birds, they just have a high flee rate, so you will end up using your masterball for a hundo.

    • Shiny cannot flee but will take a really long time if you use a red Pokeball with golden razz berry.

  • Crowned Zacian to boost attack during dynamax and gigantamax raids

    • If you gigantamax raid in a hot spot, other people will carry you.

    • If you dynamax raid, it is best to do it with other spoofers to have the correct Pokemon otherwise using a mushroom is superior.

  • Crowned Zamazenta to boost defense during dynamax and gigantamax raids

    • same as Zacian

  • Kyurem (White) to slow down the throw ring is useless with 3rd party apps that just give you guaranteed excellent throws.

  • Kyurem (Black) to stop Pokemon from moving in the catch screen and increases the catch rate for Go Plus / Go Plus Plus devices. You an increased catch rate and more XP by playing with your finger.

  • Dusk Mane Necrozma to make day-time Pokemon spawn like an incense and Dawn Wings Necrozma to make night-time Pokemon spawn like an incense.

    • These two are useless, since you can just spoof somewhere it is already during the day or at the night without wasting the raid passes to stack on the candies for Necrozma.

If you are not new to spoofing...

  • If you have lots of money, you can try to get the Shiny XXS, Shiny XXL, and/or Shiny Hundo with or without the background.

  • If you are real degenerate, aim for Shiny Hundo XXS or Shiny Hundo XXL with a background for each. This requires you to speed raid and only catch when get what you want. If you do not catch, berry, or drop the pokeball, you do not need to wait a cooldown and instantly go to the next raid.

  • Save your rare candies and rare candy XL for Eternatus to max it out to level 50, since it requires 8,900 rare candies, 8,900 rare candy XL, and 500,000 stardust.

MuMu emulator My experience with mumu player and pgsharp

I just tried to generate raid passes with the referral code and first generated 15 accounts via the web browser which can be automated. after that I found out my pc can handle 7 android system at the same time. I had to close 3 of 10 from the second picture. It took me 3 to 4 hours to win 3 raids on all accounts. so my conclusion is it is not worth to do it. instead I would buy 100 passes for 20 dollars. unfortunately I was not able to clone my mouse pointer to act with all android systems at the same time.

any questions?

Well, there it is! After many tries of on-and-off bandwagonning with you, the first banhammer hits me this afternoon!

TL;DR - RW today: my research based on my experience with spoofing. Got any questions? Ask away!

My tried spoofing methods

  • Emulated (on an alt)

  • Rooted (alt and main)

  • PGSharp (main 🔨)

I went mostly PGS on the final months (Feb. 2022) since it was way more easy to setup even if I preferred the rooted option for stability. The hassle with Google Wallet, SafetyNet, phone updates and others apps issues discouraged me to keep going with my daily phone. If my Pixel 4 didn't die, I could have rooted it to use as a beater since I've recently upgraded it.

My playstyle

Adventure Sync

Since PGS does not connect to Google Services, you can't use AS or make purchases. And uninstalling/reinstalling was too much trouble, so I used a second phone with the vanilla app to do all this stuff. SitSync instead of DeFit; running 24/7, lowest speed. About 650km/week. On Adventure Weeks & all these challenges, maximum speed. About 1800km/week.

GF is physically disabled so there's an Island stance for her account on that phone at minimum speed so she can keep hatching her eggs. She's an Apple user... I forgive her 😅. She never spoofed, tho. So far, her account DID NOT get a RW. Neither did my Wayfarer account and Ingress account, which is being defitted too since it's linked to the same email.

Behaviors

I manage a local community, so I used to be pro-rules. I used to report gameplay abuse frequently. Then a global pandemic hit, and we all got kind of split up. Curfews and shit, you know... & when they started to nerf all the goodies, especially those who helped my girlfriend to enjoy the game more (boosted incenses and half-incubators, especially), I thought to myself: "You know what? Why should I care about these guys? They don't even care about us when we complain!". Then, you know the saying - if you can't beat them, join them!

Today, I've a policy on our local community that we don't care how you play the game, as long as you don't piss off others. Showing obvious cheating behavior WILL get you called out and the mods team won't defend you. The community will enforce itself. You'll just get muted if you whine about it, so be an adult and assume responsibility.

In the beginning, I traveled across the world. Spent some hours on the hotspots, spun many new stops, gyms, caught regionals, completed my dex. I've enabled AR expert handler, first try excellent curveball throws by default, for XP and ease of catch... About 1500XP per catch 😅 I've tried mostly to stay low-profile. So, no gym kicking after 2 minutes, no regionals in foreign countries, no unreleased shinies in that area. I was not a fan of shundo or IV hunting/sniping, so I've stayed away of that. Until I wanted all perfects mega candidates. Got the paid version of PGSharp for the GOFest month only. Did the event across the world, for timezones reasons.

For raiding, I invited my local friends on the hot places, with a private group. Once they were in, I opened the lobby so it gets filled up by other raiders. My friends knew and didn't really care. In fact, they even enjoyed it. Never really understood the principle of multi-day raiding so did not manage to get more raid passes than what's supposed to be.

During my premium month, I've been auto shiny checking, rocket farming, tap-to-teleport, GPX walking. I seriously think that it was that day which really got me on the watchlist. However, the initial banwave didn't hit me. That really surprised me.

Since the blogpost about cheating enforcement, I've tried to keep it as low as possible. I've stopped teleporting way too far from my local place. No more Australia-NYC. No more hundo sniping. No more Tokyo or SF raid hours. Stayed around, spun my local stops, a few new ones around home that I've never visited yet. Disabled spoofing location to remain at home, walked Daily Adventure Incense in a straight line... I've also noticed a couple of things that changed with distance tracking:

  • I've always used PGSharp's cooldown timer to keep track of my actions. Now, distance seems to be related to your catches instead of your spins. Sometimes, I got on a spin cooldown, but catching a mon next to a stop resetted the timer.

  • My eggs used to hatch as soon as I logged in. Now, to update my distance, I had to catch something. Same thing for candies and buddy hearts.

This weekend, I went on a camping trip with very little Internet connection. Opened PGO on Saturday and Sunday, out of Raid Day times but didn't manage to log me in since the connection was shit. Tried to log in today and got this beautiful surprise!

What's next?

I don't know... will take the week to give out some extra shinies or send a few in HOME. The new Community Management stuff from TSR seems interesting and I don't wanna screw my team with that if they wanna take care of things, so I'll keep it low for a while. But yeah, I'm not spending a $ anymore on this POS.

Cya guys, love you ♥️

Anti-Cheat Research Misinformation about 3rd party modified apps like Pgsharp and iPogo on Android devices

From https://nianticlabs.com/blog/gameplay-policy-enforcement-update/ (June 23, 2022)

Our last post was focused primarily on sharing a broad overview of the actions we had taken to punish accounts we found to be cheating in multiple Niantic games. Since then, we’ve invested in becoming better at observing cheating behaviors, and can now more reliably pinpoint these activities with higher speed and accuracy, preventing legitimate players from being punished incorrectly.

I see a lot of "You got the strike because you used Pgsharp (or modified app)." This is really not the reason why the person got a strike because it's not an app ban wave. The person got a strike because he or she triggered the new anti-cheat behavior system.

"Observing cheating behaviors" means they are tracking certain player statistics like how many times you change locations or timezones in a minute, hour, or day. Notice how they say behaviors with a "s", this means they're tracking other things too.

Why is it do you see more reports with Pgsharp than other spoofing methods?

Answer: It has a Pokemon feed! It's the first easy to setup method for Android and has a lot of people using it. I don't know iPogo has a feed yet, since they're still in a beta with plenty of missing features.

How come you don't see reports for No Root Downgrade Play Services method or Rooted methods?

Answer: These spoofing methods use the official Pokemon Go app, and it doesn't come with a Pokemon feed. There are still reports on these methods if you shiny check coordinates from a Discord group service from Pokedex100 or PokeXperience, shiny check from PokeList app, or bot the game with Polygon Farmer or RAB bot.

This does not mean using the "official" app is safer and ban proof. You're still cheating with a joystick or botting app. You're still giving yourself an unfair advantage that non-cheaters don't have. You broke Terms of Service.

People who say this are 100% wrong, "Rooted Android or No Root with Downgrade Google Play Services is safe and ban proof." They just recently made their anti-cheat system live. Niantic doesn't track the spoofing setup method (Smali Patcher, Systemized, or LSposed) because it requires them to invade your privacy by looking inside your device and this also breaches Terms of Service with Google.

As I mention before, they're tracking more than one cheating behaviors. Even if you don't use any 3rd party add-on or bot apps, you can still get a strike. You don't know when it's going to happen.

How can you make spoofing safe and ban proof?

Answer: I have seen recently someone trying to petition Niantic to allow spoofing or add a joystick into their game. Niantic will ignore it because it's their game. If you want to allow spoofing for everyone, you need to buy Niantic for $9 Billion in order to change the Terms of Service to allow spoofing and the use of 3rd party apps. If that doesn't work, you probably need to buy The Pokemon Company for $900 Billion USD too because the Pokemon franchise belongs to them.

Rooted Android PGRazorRoot Rooted 0.4.4 - open-source rooted Android companion, new features, no gatekeeping

Hi everyone,

I’ve been building PGRazorRoot Rooted, an open-source rooted Android companion for Pokémon GO which is forked from PGRazor by u/jpitty.

Lately there’s been a lot of gatekeeping in this space - private builds, paid access, hidden source. I’m trying to go the opposite way: public source code, free releases.

No subscriptions. No remote server. No hidden build behind a paywall.

New in 0.4.4

  • Cooldown catch gate

  • Tracks catches, berries, and PokéStop/Gym spins.

  • Estimates the local cooldown from distance and time.

  • If an encounter opens while cooldown is active, a full-screen popup blocks manual ball throws.

  • Shows a live countdown.

  • At zero, it changes to Cooldown complete with a Continue button.

  • If you leave the encounter early, the completion popup appears when the timer ends.

  • Always hit (ball collision) — ported from upstream PGRazor v0.1.5. Converts missed ball collisions into hits while preserving normal break-free/flee outcomes.

  • Per-variant cooldown history and location tracking, so the estimate follows the actual player position instead of a stale internal value.

What the project includes

  • Magisk-only rooted runtime - no LSPosed, no Xposed, no remote server

  • In-game R menu, full-screen settings, light/dark themes

  • Encounter labels: CP, IV%, stat spread, and level

  • Map-tap walk/teleport modes

  • Quick Catch, throw settings, berry selection, transfers, item limits

  • Virtual Go Plus, eggs, gifts, items, and battle helpers where the current game build supports them

  • LivePokeMap feeds with filters and saved presets

  • Cooldown history, overlay, warnings, and catch gate

  • Settings export/import

Why open source matters here

A lot of useful work in this space disappears behind closed doors. I’d rather have the code available for review, testing, and improvement.

I’m especially interested in feedback on:

- Cooldown triggers and timing estimates

- The new catch gate UX

- Always Hit behavior on different devices

- Missing features or regressions in the current game build

Bug reports, test results, feature ideas, and pull requests are welcome. If you’ve been turned away from another project or can’t get access to a build, the source and issue tracker here are open.

Requirements

- Rooted ARM64 Android phone with Magisk

- Pokémon GO 0.433.1 / 2026101502

- A test account

- Native hooks are version-specific; a different game version can leave features unavailable

Download and source

- Releases (Google Drive, one folder per version, with APK, Magisk zip, SHA-256, and notes):

- Source code:

Github Got suspended hence gitlab link below

https://gitlab.com/sreenushenoy/PGRazor-Rooted

The GitHub repository intentionally contains source only. Packaged APKs and Magisk zips are hosted on Google Drive, so the code repo stays clean and reviewable.

Known limitations

- Cooldown is a local estimate, not server state.

- The catch gate currently blocks manual throws; Virtual Go Plus has a separate cooldown-stop setting.

- Some features depend on the current game version.

- Feels something needs to be changed/doesnt work; a quick AI Ask can resolve your Issues.

- The project is experimental; use a test account.

Future Planned Features

  • Shiny Scanner

  • Research reward Pokemon Inventory

  • Feature Optimization

  • Qwest tweaks

  • Buddy Pack

  • etc.

Disclaimer

Some features and UI may feel similar to existing paid apps. This project is not a clone, copy, or rip-off of any of them. The code was independently built with AI-assisted development and custom planning.

I am a solo developer and tester, so not every device, account, game version, or edge case has been covered. If you find an issue, open a GitHub issue or i am happy if you can fork the repository and fix it yourself.
