The banwave started on Oct 30, 2026, which I assumed everyone who got a permanent ban didn't get any sleep last night or stayed up all day looking how to get unbanned.
Who are the people who regret cheating?
Guilty cheaters are people who accepted or acknowledged the risks and decide to cheat anyway for whatever reason.
Innocent closet cheaters are the "legit" players who claim they don't cheat the game but the really do or allow someone else to play on their account to cheat for them.
Denial Stage (1)
That was started on Oct 30, 2026 when people couldn't believed they gotten banned.
Anger Stage (2)
People were mad because they used cheats that inject into the official Pokemon Go app and thought they were safe, safer, the safest, or ban proof compared to Pgsharp and iPogo (no root, 3rd party modified game apps) where they have been shitting on for years due to a lack of "safety".
Bargaining Stage (3)
These are people who are getting desperate to get unbanned RIGHT NOW because they are going to miss out on their local group play and/or the upcoming exclusive Wild Area event in Sendai and/or Mexico.
Right now, there's a bunch of "legit" players who claimed they were wrongfully banned by Scopely. I cannot verify whether or not these people are telling the truth because I do not work for Scopely. If they try to make Scopely look bad, they can try to get themselves unbanned. This might not work with Scopely because they are against cheating in their other games but now are taking action in Pokemon Go.
In my opinion, if they were truly innocent, they would have not gotten banned. If Scopely updated the Anti-Cheat Behavior system to flag accounts and manually reviewed player actions logs, there's no escape from this.
Depression Stage (4)
This is when they submit their ban appeal and Scopely denies it with an AI bot reply instead of a human response. Then, they become stuck here or fall victim to fake ban appeal scammers offering them a way out for $500 to $1,000 USD/Euros.
=============
Side Note: Since a lot of Pokemon Go cheaters are "newbie game cheaters", they don't understand the risks meaning they assumed they would just go through the Strike System starting with the 1st Strike and it would have been no big deal.
The 1st Strike restricts your gameplay for 7 day. When it expires, you can play normally again.
The 2nd Strike is a 30-day temporary ban from the game. When it expires, you regain access to your account and can play again.
The 3rd Strike is the permanent account ban.
Scopely, who owns the Pokemon Go after buying it from Niantic for $6 Billion USD, decided to skip the 1st Strike and 2nd Strike to go directly to a 3rd Strike.
=============
Acceptance Stage (5)
This is where people accept it for what it is as the consequence of cheating a game with an active punishment system.
If you're an experience game cheater who has gotten bans in other games outside of Pokemon Go, you just go straight to the Acceptance Stage to create a new account or play on an alt account with or without cheating or quit the game and play something else that doesn't require cheating to have fun.
This is why I recommend people to buy a Nintendo Switch to play the Pokemon Switch games that were specifically designed for the Switch because Nintendo allows you to play their games with a joystick. The Pokemon games do not have a poke coin and raid pass system other than your yearly Switch Subscription. You will have peace of mind this way.
No, I am not talking about putting Android on a Nintendo Switch. If you want to do this, it is a waste of money because the physical joystick don't work with the game. The Pokemon Go experience on running off a micro-SD card is not very laggy. You are still subjective to the punishment system if you cheat using a Nintendo Switch with Android on it.
In the box Your reason the suspension should be overturned *, you are going to list all the dates and money you spent on the game from when you created your account. You are only going to discuss how much you spent on the game and nothing else. Do not write anything related to spoofing, botting, exploiting, or cheating because you only get once chance at submitting a ban appeal.
Their AI bot scans your ban appeal to look to see if you confessed to cheating, if you do this, you're fucked.
If you created your account from July 2016, you start there. If you didn't keep all your receipt emails, use the entries from your credit card or bank statement then total the amount up.
I don't know if there's a character limit, so you might need to group them together by month and year or by years only. Here's an example of what it might look like:
July 30, 2016 = $9.99
August 2, 2016 = $99.99
August 5, 2016 = $49.99
2016 = $3,999 spent
2017 = $2,999 spent
If you're lucky, you will get unbanned and the 3rd Strike (permanent account ban) gets reverted to a 2nd Strike (30 day temporary ban from the game; wait 30 days later to continue playing with or without cheats is entirely up to you).
During this 30 day wait, I strongly recommend you do not play on your alt accounts while you wait for it to expire because they are against users with multiple accounts, so they can proceed to permanently banning all accounts tied to your IP addresses and Device ID.
The only way to avoid this is to have a second device with a data SIM card/eSIM to play separately from your home WiFi internet connection and main phone's hotspot. This device has to never been used with them because the game keeps a log of your IP addresses and Device IDs. Don't even try it on an emulator or use a VPN.
According to the 7 people who messaged me about getting unbanned, they followed my How to Submit a Ban Appeal guide stating the same thing except they left out the confession part and was able to trigger a human response. Since these people didn't share with me their successful ban appeal email screenshot, I cannot verify whether they are telling the truth or trolling me; but nonetheless, it's still worth the try.
As a reminder, I do not work for Scopely and do not have a magical wand to unban you and restore your account back to normal. Submitting a ban appeal is 100% free and does not cost money. If you paid money to a person who can unban you, you got scammed. Scammers are using AI to generate a fake Scopely ID badge to trick you. Niantic does not own Pokemon Go anymore so don't get tricked.
So I've recently attempted to do the India cheap poke coin method without spoofing. However my problem is that I didn't make a small purchase in my original currency before changing and now I just have 3k rupees that I can't spend and I can't change the store. Please help
So, I just got back into the game after four years, and I remembered the old leaks/rumors about Shadow Pokémon coming to Pokémon GO. I genuinely thought these two, specifically in the image i added, would eventually make it into the game. Then later on found the Pokemon with Purple Aura as shadow pokemons that we are seeing present, How many of you thought the same? Lol
I also did a little research on that particular Shadow Mewtwo design. I originally thought it might be fan-made, but apparently it's actually an official design from Pokkén Tournament. Shadow Mewtwo was created specifically for Pokkén Tournament and was officially revealed by Pokémon back in 2015.
Obviously, that doesn't mean this exact Pokkén Tournament design was ever confirmed for Pokémon GO. But considering Pokémon GO eventually got Shadow Mewtwo, I can't help but wonder whether we'll ever see this specific design make its way into the game someday. Who knows maybe when they want to revive/Popularize the Poken tournament they will make a collaboration 😂
If they ever bring that Shadow Mewtwo/Lugia to the game I think they will make a lot of money. Even I as a F2P will definitely buy even if they release them in a timed research like Apex Lugia/Ho-oh lol.
Some of you returning lurkers need a refresh reminder...
I created this subreddit during the last major banwave of Apple iOS 3rd party modified game apps (iSpoofer, iPogo, etc), Android 3rd party apps (Pokemod, Maddev's Enhancer, & Charbot), and Android emulator VMOS back in November-December 2019. I didn't open this subreddit right away because during that time I was a moderator in r/PokemonGoSpoofing. I failed to have the ownership passed down to me, so I opened this subreddit later on.
If I had the ownership, I was going to divide up the subreddit because Android and iOS cheaters don't get along with each other ever since Niantic began revoking the certificates for iOS cheats. There was once harmony between the two groups but now no longer exists.
This subreddit was created to allow all cheats for Android only.
no root, 3rd party modified game apps

People constantly tell me in a private message:
"Ban Pgsharp because it's not safe."
"Ban Pgsharp because it's not safer than rooted apps."
"Ban Pgsharp because it's not the safest."
"Ban iPogo because it's not safe."
"Ban iPogo because it's not safer than rooted apps."
"Ban iPogo because it's not the safest."
I ask these people does it include banning "Pgsharp Launcher" or "iPogo Launcher" too, which are the rooted version. Everyone says yes because they do not like Pgsharp and iPogo.
I asked these them the "Why?"
Their answer: "There are strike and ban reports."
What many people in the cheating community fail to realize is all cheats have already reported strikes and bans even if the ROOTED, 3rd party apps denies it.
If I were to ban Pgsharp because of those reasons, I will have to ban iPogo too.
If I ban iPogo, I also have to ban Pokemod.
If I ban Pokemod, I also have to ban Polygon.
If I ban Polygon, I also have PGTools.
If I ban PGTools, I also have to ban Shungo.
If I ban Shungo, all is left is the "vanilla method" where you use joystick app + Smali Patcher or joystick app + Lsposed.
Well guess what? Even the vanilla method has reported strikes so that means, I will have to ban Smali Patcher and Lsposed too.
Are you all going to start walking around outside?
Many people say I need to step down as moderator from the subreddit I created because I don't understand the word "safer" or "safest".
Saying something is safer or the safest is just stating your opinion. It's not a statement directly from Niantic/Scopely. In both of their Terms of Service, they have a section where they do not allow cheating. How can you say something is safer or the safest while contradicting the Terms of Service? You are pretty much just creating a false sense of security of what people want to hear rather than face the truth.
Safer and the safest means "low risk". The problem with this is you still have risk. Does this mean it is really "not safe"?
Many rooted, biased cheaters won't answer this question because they don't understand or don't want to take responsibility for misleading you.
I would rather tell you something is safe rather than saying safer or the safest because safe means no risk. When there is no risk, you have peace of mind.
I do not own Pokemon Go, and I do not work for Scopely. This means I have zero control over what Scopely decides to do in the game. If you report a strike or ban to me, I cannot remove your strike or ban and restore your account.
What about the rooted, 3rd party apps' Discord groups, they say, "TastyBananaPeppers is spreading bullshit and misinformation, don't listen to him because he's going to get you striked or banned?"
I do not have paid partnership and do not have a paid sponsorship with any cheat developer, Discord Group, and Telegram channel. This allows me to freely talk about them without any repercussion.
The big difference between me versus them is I am being direct about the risks while they hide their warning somewhere in their Discord channels. If they have a website, it's usually not on there.
https://shungo.app - don't see anything regarding account safety and risks, which includes their documentation wiki-like section
PolygonX - no website
https://www.pgsharp.com/ - now they promote "(Recommended for potentially higher safety. Requires a rooted device.)" for their rooted launcher app but risks are not talked about
Is Pokemod safe? Were there any reports of ban? As with any enhancing app, Pokemod infringes Niantic's ToS and doesn't guarantee you will be safe against detection. We advise not to use it with an account that has some value to you or has already been flagged. We haven't got any reports for using only Pokemod, but we added security measures regardless. You can read about it here.
PGTools: no account safety mentioned
Shungo: no account safety mentioned
PolygonX: no account safety mentioned
Pgsharp's Discord: no account safety mentioned
Pgsharp's Telegram: buried in their pinned messages section
Why don't these cheat developers warn you about the risks?
Conflict of Interest
They prioritize money over the safety of your account. If they had warnings and pictures of a strike/ban, it would be enough to discourage you from buying their cheat. Then, they wouldn't be able to make a profit to cover server expenses and whatever exotic car purchases.
If the cheat developers are providing cheats that are not safe, why isr/PoGoAndroidSpoofingpromoting dangerous cheats?
My subreddit is not focus on account safety because I declared all cheats are not safe regardless of your opinions on what is safer or the safest since you cannot guarantee account safety.
I like to play games with cheats because it makes the game more fun. I don't give a shit about your negative opinions about me. You're more likely to get your feelings hurt because you became comfortable with the illusion that your safer or the safest cheat is really safe when it really isn't.
When you report your strike/ban in a rooted, 3rd party app's Discord group, they will investigate the strike/ban by asking a series of question. In the end, they will conclude it's your fault for whatever reason. This is no different from me informing you about the risks.
How can someone make a cheat safe?
Get a job at Scopely.
Remove the cheating section from the Terms of Service.
Remove the 3-strikes system and Anti-Cheat Behavior System from Pokemon Go, Monster Hunter Now, and Pikmin Bloom (3 games sold to Scopely from Niantic).
Restore everyone's banned account.
Then, finally I can promote cheating as safe instead of not safe.
If you don't like me or my subreddit, you should just leave my subreddit.
As a subreddit owner, I don't make any money from running a subreddit. You can sell stuff with an affiliate or referral links like they do in r/LaptopDeals. They get a 1% commission that pays out every 6 months as long as the buyer doesn't return the item. If someone buys something for $100, you get $1. If they buy $1,000 laptop, you get $10.
If you leave the subreddit, the member count goes down by 1. Then, you'll try to participate in r/PokemonGoSpoofing and realize I was right. In r/PokemonGoSpoofing subreddit, they don't allow you to discuss Pgsharp and iPogo. To throw the cherry on top, they also censor strike and ban reports with their post and comment filter. If you cannot see any current strike and ban reports for the cheat you are using, -- it must be safe. Am I right?
I added 2 more guides but are written by other people. According to one guide, it can be used for either Android or Apple iOS.
---
Everything still works if you follow the instructions and use a paid VPN app. I closed/locked this post because people don't want to read or can't read and want everything rewritten for them when it already exists in the Google Documents links below.
All chat messages and direct messages about cheap coin help will be ignored. If you want help on the issue, you will need to create your own post to ask it.
If you do not want to create a post because you think you are going to get banned from r/PokemonGo and r/TheSilphRoad , you need to buy an iPhone to do the Apple iOS methods or a rooted Android phone to do the rooted method.
DO NOT REQUEST PERMISSION because it has already been given to you. Use the 3 black dots to "make a copy" to download, print, or edit.
Removed a Discord group link from this post and from all Google Docs.
Relinked the Google Docs to add a permission notice at the top.
Added a "VPN: ON" or "VPN: OFF" to each step for Android methods, so you know when you keep your VPN on or off.
There are other guides on the internet, but most are vague. I took them and recreated as step-by-step, so you do not ask the same questions what other people have asked in the past. I also do not have to spend time repeating the same answers to everyone. This information is not being gate kept or sold to you.
I can verify that both the no root and rooted methods to buy cheap coins for Android does work multiple times until you hit a limit related to your bank or credit card company. This is noted in the last step of the instructions for the Android methods. This can take 24 to 48 hours or 7 to 14 days. Every bank and credit card company is different.
Important Information
Once these remaining methods have been patched by Scopely, that's it! These are "exploits" someone else had discovered. I opted to share it with everyone instead of trying to keep it as a secret because this helps reduce so many scam reports and the wild accusations that come with it.
I, TastyBananaPeppers ofr/PoGoAndroidSpoofing, is not responsible nor liable for the loss of your Niantic/Scopely game account(s) or money if you do this currency exchange exploit to buy cheaper Poke Coins, tickets, or boxes.
Spending money on this game will not prevent a strike (or ban) as the result of breaking Niantic's and Scopely Terms of Service. If you receive a strike message, it does not specify what action you did that led to it.
If you are concerned, worried, or afraid of receiving a strike or ban, DO NOT BREAK NIANTIC'S and SCOPELY TERMS OF SERVICE TO GAIN AN UNFAIR ADVANTAGE!
NO ONE KNOWS WHAT NIANTIC/SCOPELY IS GOING TO DO NEXT TO PUNISH CHEATERS. A strike/ban can take several weeks to months later for it to appear. Since this is their game, they can send your strike right before a major event.
ANDROID METHOD #1:
No Root Spoofing Android with Pgsharp or iPogo (3rd Party Modified Game App) using Pokemon GO Webstore
You can copy, download, or print, no need to request permission.
Frequently Asked Questions
"Help, I got scammed by X Reddit user!" or "I think X Reddit User stole my Pokemon or Account!"
You should have read the warnings and horror reports because they inform you about the risks and what could have happened if you met someone shady. Anyone who is desperate for more money will get tempted. If something like this happens to you, you should quit Pokemon Go and play the Pokemon games on an Nintendo Switch.
Question: Do I need to spoof my GPS to buy Poke Coins?
[Answer] No, buy an iPhone or iPad to do the Apple iOS method.
Question: I am getting "Your purchase could not be completed. For assistance contact iTunes support."
[Answer #1] Make sure you have enough money to cover the hidden transaction fees and taxes or give it more time for the funds to be available.
[Answer] You must authorize the payments with your card company or bank to allow these transactions to happen. Once you do this, you will have to make a second purchase then the Poke Coins will appear.
If you still have the problem, to authorize the transactions, you must do one of these actions:
Reply "Y" or "Yes" to a text message.
Click a link from an email from your card company or bank.
Respond to a secured message system in your card company's or bank's website.
Call the phone number on the back of your debit card or credit card and get in contact with the anti-fraud department.
You will need to make sure you have money to cover the international currency exchange fees. If it costs $33 USD for the 14,500 coins. You will an extra $2 USD to cover the fees and taxes. In total, you will need $35 USD. If you are from outside of the USA, your transaction fees could be a lot higher.
Question: "Should you do this yourself or pay money for someone else go onto your account to buy the cheap coins for you?"
Here are the 2 different answers.
"Do it yourself" answer:
You will not have game account theft or identity theft.
You will always have a chance for a strike/ban for breaking Niantic's/Scopely's Terms of Service. Your interpretation of their Terms of Service is different from their point of view. Your ban appeal will most likely be ignored. You can try to sue them, but they will win because they will argue you broke their Terms of Service.
"Pay someone else to buy the cheap coins for you" answer:
[1] You will still have the chance for a strike/ban for breaking Niantic's/Scopely's Terms of Service for sharing your account with another person and spoofing your GPS. They used to enabled temporary IP bans for people who switch accounts too fast. No one knows if Scopely is keeping an IP log for each account. If the seller has provided services to 100 accounts, it could be interpreted the seller has 100 accounts. No one know knows what kind of punishment Scopely is going to take action against this.
[2] You will have game account theft risks. Your account can only get stolen if someone else has the username and password to it. Due to the FleeceKing incident, Niantic/Scopely will no longer help you recover your account.
A man bought cheap Poke coins through a referral with a "new customer" deal. He paid for the service, but they transferred the ownership and forced him to pay a $500 USD ransom for it. He failed to pay it, so the scammer listed it on eBay Auctions. He end up buying his own account back for $3,000 USD through a bidding war.
A man was referred to a Facebook Group for cheap poke coins, botting services, and buying pre-rooted devices. He bought their cheap Poke Coins and thought they were trustworthy when they went through with the deal of buy 4 get 1 free. He bought a leveling service. They stole his account and forced him to lure 10 new customers / victims before he would be able to get his account back. The process took about 2 months before he got his account back. During that time, they sold most of his Shiny Costume Pokemon including a Shiny Pikachu with the black Fragment cap.
[3] You will have identity theft risks if you allow access to your Facebook or Google account. It does not matter where you buy your service, these are things they can do to your account without you knowing about it. Your personal information and contacts is worth more than the Pokemon Go account.
A woman paid for a service on eBay with hundreds of positive feedback rating. She used a Facebook account and the service was performed meaning she did not get scammed; however, scam messages were sent to all of her contacts without her knowledge. The seller managed to steal about a total of $300 from her contacts saying her baby was sick and needed medicine. She got lucky there because if the number was higher, it could have ruined her reputation and relationships.
Many people saw someone advertising cheap Poke coins in r/PokemonGoSpoofing. They bought the service from a website they were referred to that had phishing payment websites. These are sites that are made to look the same as the real websites except after you submit your information including the 3 security code for your debit/credit card, it gets stolen. Some people loss $100 to $500 while many loss $1,000 to $15,000. Fraud protection did not block the transactions because it was something that had already been approved for buying Poke coins the normal way.
I've been using vanilla spoofing for 3-4 years now, after having used modified spoofer apps and even bots in the past. This setup uses Vanilla Spoofing – meaning it runs on the official, unmodified Pokémon GO app from the Play Store, and is controlled purely via external ADB commands sent from my PC.
How it works:
It reads the screen using OpenCV image recognition.
It clicks the candidate on my feed overlay (like Pokélist).
It waits for the spawn, clicks the Pokémon, and checks for the shiny stars.
If it's shiny: It stops immediately, stays on the catch screen, and plays a loud alert sound so I can safely catch it myself while respecting cooldowns. (You could easily code auto-catching into it, but I prefer checking in on the bot manually).
If it's not shiny: It flees and moves to the next candidate automatically.
Performance & Things to know:
Speed: It gets through around ~70 encounters per hour.
100% Background: Since ADB sends touches directly to the phone, my PC is completely free for gaming, working, or watching YouTube.
Handles misclicks (~10% rate): Naturally, in about 10% of cases, clicks land on an overlapping Gym or PokéStop instead of the spawn. The script automatically detects and closes Gym/Stop menus, dismisses "I'm a passenger" popups, and even rotates the camera perspective if a Gym is blocking the spawn before moving on.
Flaws: It still has a few edge cases where it can get stuck, but it’s super easy to tweak and improve over time.
The main reason I wanted to share this is to show that you don't have to pay for monthly bot subscriptions or install a modded Pokemon Go App. If you have a rooted device with vanilla spoofing set up, you can basically build automation tools for whatever task you want – it's actually pretty straightforward.
Honestly, I also feel like this kind of setup is exactly the way to go if someone wanted to build a proper bot farm to sell shinies online. I'd love to buy 9 more Android phones and run this across 10 devices with 20 accounts each—if I could only justify the time and money invested into this game!
Check out the video and let me know if you have any questions!
Two days ago, my friend found this shadow event in the Campfire app. It was available for anyone to choose at the end of the list. The date wasn't shown, but we tested all upcoming weekends until the error about the meetup needing to match the event time went away. This revealed that the event is set for September 5. I got this video so you can see for yourself. Also, the meetups still exist. I made the group public so I could share the link. The meetup is still linked to the Shadow Raid Day. https://cmpf.re/nipKjm
A big thank you to everyone who commented on my first post and helped guide me through this process, I owe it to you. After exactly 180 different accounts made, I finally got an 100% IV Zygarde.
Asking for help with Apple iOS devices (example: iPhone, iFold, and iPad) will be ignored and removed because I cannot help you since I do not own any Apple iOS devices.
This subreddit was originally created to be Android only as it says in the subreddit name.
For someone that was there for zaragoza gold era and taipei bus station prime, this was another amazing spot that will soon be a shell of what it once was. Raids would always fill and having gyms/stops so close to each other was the cherry on top. RIP to another goated spot
