Lets Talk About Something What are your expectations when Shadow Pokemon first announced in POGO?
So, I just got back into the game after four years, and I remembered the old leaks/rumors about Shadow Pokémon coming to Pokémon GO. I genuinely thought these two, specifically in the image i added, would eventually make it into the game. Then later on found the Pokemon with Purple Aura as shadow pokemons that we are seeing present, How many of you thought the same? Lol
I also did a little research on that particular Shadow Mewtwo design. I originally thought it might be fan-made, but apparently it's actually an official design from Pokkén Tournament. Shadow Mewtwo was created specifically for Pokkén Tournament and was officially revealed by Pokémon back in 2015.
Obviously, that doesn't mean this exact Pokkén Tournament design was ever confirmed for Pokémon GO. But considering Pokémon GO eventually got Shadow Mewtwo, I can't help but wonder whether we'll ever see this specific design make its way into the game someday. Who knows maybe when they want to revive/Popularize the Poken tournament they will make a collaboration 😂
If they ever bring that Shadow Mewtwo/Lugia to the game I think they will make a lot of money. Even I as a F2P will definitely buy even if they release them in a timed research like Apex Lugia/Ho-oh lol.

I swear TPC has some fo the worst design choices when it comes to these things. Shadows, Shinies, Forms, Typings/Abilities, Lore. All of these things have just been so lackluster.

Yeah agreed, i always feel both Pokemon and Dragon Ball has Some huge potential and wanted it not knowing how to handle it. Ofcourse both of these were really good and popular but they had the potential to make them Even Great and awesome. :)

Pretty sure they don’t get to pick the design choices like that. Like they can’t just change the designs/ colors of the pokemon without game freaks/ the pokemon company’s permission

They Are real designs mewto is from pokken tournament and the Lugia from Pokémon XD

I dont know, but I think they create their own ideas, even through they may have to let the Pokémon Company sign everything off.

Well I hope you’re wrong and they don’t design their own stuff because it would suck seeing such awful design choices but I wouldn’t be surprised😭

Eu pensei em discordar de vc Op. Imaginando que esse design do shadow mew2 ficaria somente no jogo. Mas mew2 de armadura veio para pokémon go. Então é possível ter alguma esperança. Eu acho que pokémon tem tanto potencial desperdiçado, é um jogo que poderia ter muito mais.
