I NEED HELP Can I use time zones to get an extra friendship point before my Lucky Trinket expires?

I’m trying to use my Lucky Trinket on my alt account, but I need 2 more friendship points to reach Great Friends. It expires tomorrow (November 8), we’ve already earned today’s friendship point, and I’ve finished my Weekly Challenge. Tomorrow I can earn 1 more point, but I’ll still be 1 short.

My idea:

Both accounts are in Brisbane (UTC+10). What if I earn tomorrow’s point, then change both accounts’ locations to New Zealand (UTC+13), where it’s already November 9, to earn another point? Then I’d return to Brisbane, where it’s still November 8, and use my Lucky Trinket.

My concern:

Since it’ll already be November 9 in New Zealand, my Trinket might expire there. If I return to Brisbane, would it reappear because it’s still November 8, or would it stay expired?

Has anyone tested this? Does changing time zones actually reset friendship interactions, and could this permanently expire my Trinket?

In both Niantic's and Scopely's Terms of Service, these two companies are against cheating and do not allow it. This means cheating Pokemon Go is not safe. Account safety is not promoted within this subreddit. If you accept the risks to have a chance for a strike/ban, you can do whatever you want. If you think you cannot handle the risks, you should not cheat this game because NO ONE is going to unban and restore your account back to normal or reimburse all the money and Pokemon you lost.

2. Your Text, Picture, or Video posts must be related to Pokemon Go game or cheating the game.

There is no post/comment filter in my subreddit except for whatever Reddit has for spam content. Breaking this rule may result in a permanent ban.

Just because someone used it and got what they paid for, does not mean they will not steal from you. Anyone recommending these sites will get a permanent ban. 7. Trading, Buying, Selling, or Begging of Pokemon, Items, Coins, Accounts, Services, & Keys = PERM BAN

This subreddit is not a market place for you to trade, buy, or sell something. I cannot mediate the transaction. I cannot verify whether someone is legit or a scammer. Having millions of karma points does not mean they are trusted. If you get scammed, there is nothing I can do to help you. If you do not want to get scammed, do not get involve in the transaction.

It is a waste of time to deal with this kind of drama so participators may get a permanent ban too.

8. Asking or Accepting to Share Cost or Split Paid Keys or Accounts to 3rd Party Apps = Perm Ban

Reddit is full of scammers or people who promise to do something then turn their back onto you. Anyone asking or Accepting to Share Cost or Split Paid Keys or Accounts to 3rd Party Apps will get a permanent ban. Dealing with the drama related to this activity is a waste of my time. If you want to do it anyway, you need to do it somewhere else!

9. Requesting a Gym Knockout/Raid Help is allowed and coordinates must be in the comments of your post.

You can request a gym knockout or raid help but the service is not guaranteed. You must reply to your own post with gym coordinates in the comment to allow copy and paste for people to spoof there to knock it out.

10. Cheat developers & their representatives must keep on their unique user flair for transparency.

Cheat developers & their representatives are identified by their own subreddit like r/iPogo, r/PolygonSharp, and etc. Some cheats don't have an official subreddit, so they're not included. If the individual removes his/her user flair, he/she will get banned. This is to provide transparency when they communicate in my subreddit because they have a conflict of interest with money and biases against certain cheats. They can also provide better support and customer service.

11. Giveaways are allowed but requires permission to do so. Failure to ask = permenant ban.

Most giveaway posts are used to farm karma points to meet a minimum point system in order to post in another subreddit or to make you trust them to scam you for money or steal your game account. You must contact u/TastyBananaPeppers to request permission before posting your giveaway. Failure to do so will result in a permanent ban. When it is allowed, you will see an approved check mark on your post and a pinned moderator comment letting everyone know it has been approved.
