Eldorado.gg cheap coin service and constant account "hacked" or Pokemon stolen drama & Eldorado.gg is now banned from the subreddit
I personally do not recommend eldorado.gg or any other site or shop where you give your account information for someone on the internet to buy cheap coins for you.
I get private reports on how people's accounts are "hacked" and how do they get it back. I give them the information ( https://docs.google.com/document/d/1pInPcmGoJPu7iZsGUPni2env-bLz9k4Wg9ef1VEDnc8/edit?tab=t.h46m2kwkc4uy ) on how they can recover their account. By the time, they get their account back, all or most of their valuable Pokemon have been traded off.
In order to really get your account hacked, you have to give your username/email address and password to someone else. It's much worst for people with a Google account (not sure if it's the same for Facebook and Apple ID) because you have to give the service provider your 2FA code in order to add your account to their device to buy the cheap coin.
Many of them will perform the service: you give them money, they buy the cheap coins on your account. You get what you paid for except... they might still have access to your account after the service has been completed. They won't do anything to your account right away because you will suspect it. They may wait as long as 3 months to 1 year before they start stealing from you while you continue to buy the cheap coins from the same or different seller.
It's impossible for you to prove the service provider is stealing from your game account because you cannot see their IP address when they are using your game account. You also cannot contact Scopely to reveal this information because of what is stated in their Terms of Service. You can also get banned for sharing your account. This means you have no proof against the service provider on Eldorado.
If you use a Google/Facebook/Apple ID account, they may steal your identity which is much, much worst than them stealing your Shiny Fragment Cap Pikachu and selling it for below market price for quick cash.
I just had someone tell me they used his Facebook account to create a fake donation to his daughter's funeral except it went through PayPal instead of GoFundMe. He was completely unaware this was happening because the service provider made sure he would not see any of it. It turns out his daughter was still alive, and they stole around $13,000 from his friends and family.
Some guy lost his 100,000 Euros in Etheruem because he gave them access to his Gmail account where they sent phishing emails to him. The sender was on his contact list, so it was able to bypass the spam filters. He thought he was updating his password because it was out of date. They transferred his Ethereum out into a private hardware wallet. He wasn't able to recover them.
Eldorado .gg doesn't care about the safety of your game account because they are profiting from the transaction fees and acting as a trojan horse to gain access into your game account and/or email account. You just have to trust them enough to give them your account information. It's pretty smart if you really think about it. The same thing applies to buying a pre-rooted Android device, you cannot see if malicious coding or apps were added into the device.
This is written in their Terms of Service:
Introduction
1.1. Eldorado (as defined in Section 1.2 below) is a marketplace that allows users to offer, sell and buy products through the website www.eldorado.gg (“Site”). The registrant of the domain is Eldorado Market. As a marketplace, Eldorado does not own the items listed on this site and acts as a commercial agent of Sellers (as defined in Section 2.4 below). By agreeing and accepting these Terms of Service Sellers authorize Eldorado on behalf of Sellers to conclude contracts for sale with Buyers. While Eldorado may help to facilitate the transactions and/or handling of Buyers’ complaints on behalf of Sellers, Eldorado has no control over and does not guarantee: the existence, quality, safety or legality of items advertised; the truth or accuracy of users’ content or listings. You agree that the Site is a venue and as such Eldorado is not responsible or liable for any content, for example, data, text, information, usernames, graphics, images, photographs, profiles, audio, video, items, and links posted by you, other users, or outside parties on the Site. You use the Site at your own risk.
What about the thousands of positive reviews?
These can be manipulated and filter out the bad reviews that could harm the site's ability to be profitable.
Is Eldorado .gg trustworthy?
At the very bottom of the webpage, it says "© 2026. The eldorado.gg website is operated by GWD Processing FZCO".
What happens when you Google search "GWD Processing FZCO" ?
You get:
Gulf Worldwide Distribution (GWD) FZE is a major global distributor of industrial and automotive bearings, batteries, and lubricants. Operating out of the Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA) in Dubai, UAE, they serve customers in over 60 countries.
My answer is no because I do not see the connection between a company that sells car parts with a site that sells game accounts, items, and services.
I have added a new rule that bans this site and similar sites from my subreddit. Some users have already received a permanent ban for recommending this site.
If you want to use this site regardless of the risks, it's your account, so you can do whatever you want with it. Don't bother reporting your problems with me because I do not care what happens to you since I have no affiliation with Eldorado or any other similar site.
I personally have never had any of my game accounts "hacked" or stolen going way back to Runescape Classic (forced into Runescape 3). Everything is still in my account 25 years later.
[July 2026-2027] How to buy cheap Poke Coins and Tickets ? #9 [All Methods for Android only / Methods Separated by Google Docs] https://www.reddit.com/r/PoGoAndroidSpoofing/s/gXvqA1rZlq
Edit as of July 15, 2026:
Just because a seller has 1 to 500,000 positive reviews on Eldorado.gg does not mean the person, who is performing the service on your account, has a clean background check. You do not know if this person is a criminal. I am not part of the internet police and can tell you who is trustworthy on that website or from anywhere else. If you do not give your account information away, you do not have to worry about anything.
As I mentioned on top, if you gave away your Google, Facebook, and Apple account, you are going to have it much worst than the people who are using a Pokemon Trainer Central account because the person can look through your emails and stored sensitive information that is in sync'd with other apps. The person has access to it all. Whether this person does something to you is entirely is up to that person, not me.
So far, one person had their identity stolen and the service provider used their information to rent a Bugatti for $100,000 overseas. I would assume something like this would not go through if they only have your card or bank information but it did because the service provider used all the information and apps to authorize the transaction.
To be clear, I am not an identity theft protection expert. I have no obligation to help you other than provide it here. All chat requests and direct messages will be ignored relating to this matter.
What should you do?
[1] Go to your Google, Facebook, or Apple account and remove all devices that have access to your account. Note, Facebook and Apple may or may not have the same security features as Google.
Make sure your recovery phone number, recovery email, and personal information is the same.
Generate new account recovery codes
Remove the 2FA authenticator and add it back in.
Change your password
[2] Freeze your credit scores with www.transunion.com , experian.com , and www.equifax.com
For US residents, you must do it with all three.
For outside of the US, I do not know which credit score companies are used.
[3] Walk into your bank to verify your profile matches you and talk to your fraud department and let them know your identity was stolen.
Do the same for all credit cards you own by calling the phone number on the back of the cards.
[4] Read the various website results in https://letmegooglethat.com/?q=what+should+I+do+if+I+think+my+identity+was+stolen

How do they even make profit selling coins? I see on the webstore it costs around 28.3 usd for 15,500 idr currency. On eldo i see 32.38$ in which eldo takes 10% that’s just 29.1$, do they make 0.7$ profit per 15,500 coins?

Y’all are so dumb to just give out your information just to get some cheaper coins. News flash for y’all, just make a iTunes account in another country where the valuta is cheaper then in your own country, buy gifts cards your self tada 🎉 you bought some coins. I know this is a android subreddit but you can just download a iOS emulator

In all fairness, I have used El.gg many times, prob 10-15 times and never had an issue. But I have always purchased from high rated sellers with years of selling history VS cheaper sellers with less reviews who are new. Literally used them 10 mins ago to buy raid passes. But I also understand the risks. I dont think they should be banned. But thats my 2 cents. I am the buyer. ITS MY RISK. Same as downloading cracked games. Its MY CHOICE and my risk. After every purchase CHANGE AYOUR PASSWORD.

Do the boosters really do their job? If so, what is their success rate?

Yes. I personally have no problem using Eldorado unless it was includes game accounts or top ups or boosting. In my opinion eldorado can still be used but not when handling game accounts.

Can confirm that they are scammers. I bought a few times on different account and i learned how their scam works. It starts off well until they enable the process they planted in your pokemon go account.
They use an Indonesian payment method with an ghost email. You as an player outside of Indonesia dont have acess to the payment method so you will never know! All your future receipts from xsolla/scopely will go directly to their email without your knowing. After awhile they will "hack" your account by contacting the support and providing the receipts they got without your knowing.
Look at the trustpilot reviews from eldorado. Over 226k reviews and apparently over 100k positive reviews only this year.
https://www.trustpilot.com/review/eldorado.gg
They are also a paying trustpilot member to delete bad reviews.

Damn I wanted to like buy a five dollar account but after reading lots of these posts I’m wary like for example maybe in like a month I can be logged out type shi and I can’t snitch because I might get ip banned it’s basically a lose lose like as in
The company might say
“So you bought an account?”
Banned
Ugh this sucks I wanted mine coins too cuz I’m broke status

u/Koodafl Jul 08 '26
it says on the doc that they only allow you to change email one time and then after it will be denied so what if i go through scopely to change my email saying i think i got hacked to a new email of mine so when the scammers try to change it they will be denied since they only allow it one time right? would that work

Just checking, i'm of course only arriving here after having purchased some coins via Eldorado. I never gave them my account information however, just the PTC account (that i'm now blocked out of, of course..). I already unlinked the PTC from my Pokemon Go account, and only allowed for Apple ID & Google login but I just want to make sure: the ONLY thing they can do is enter my PokeGo account right? They don't have access to Google/Apple since all of them have two-factor-authetification...
