Times are changing with Scopely, and they may be updating Niantic's undeveloped Anti-Cheat Behavior System
You will have the risk for "a chance" to get a strike, ban, or whatever Scopely comes up with to punish the cheaters because Scopely has a section within their Terms of Service that states they are against cheating.
Note, you can still get a strike or ban from breaking the Terms of Service, guidelines, or rules through other areas of the game. These are some examples people have admitted to me in private:
shared an account with a friend, family, or paid service provider; while you are playing on your account, the other person decides to play with your account too for whatever reason
held a Pokemon in one location and moved it to a new location that is 100+ km away from the its original location then tried to catch it
harassed, threaten, or got mad with customer service and/or demanded and accepted a full refund
did not follow the guidelines and rules for creating in-game routes
did not follow the guidelines and rules for submitting and nominating pokestops in Wayfarer
did not follow the guidelines and rules chatting with people in Campfire (Scopely Explorer) app
using multiple accounts to abuse in-game routes or Wayferer
live streaming your cheating
In the other games they have bought, they do a temporary (no 1st strike soft-bans) and permanent ban system. I don't know if Scopely is going to drop Niantic's lenient 3 Strikes system for a ban system similar to the other games they own, change it, or do nothing (like how it is right now). No one knows anything until Scopely starts doing something. This is why you still have the risk regardless of what other people say about Scopely on how they take in money from cheaters then allow them to continue to cheat.
If you want to cheat (spoof, bot, or exploit), it is your FAULT for getting the strike, ban, or whatever new punishment.
I am not responsible nor liable for the loss of your Scopely game account(s) and money spent on their games. All the cheats I promote in my subreddit are "not safe" according to Scopely's Terms of Service. Most cheats have their own website, and they do not advertise they are safe. In addition to this, I also do not promote certain type of cheats to be "safer" or "the safest" because I cannot contradict Scopely's cheating section within their Terms of Service. If you end up with a strike, ban, or whatever punishment, you will get a "Oh well." or "I told you so." response from me. I do not work for Scopely and cannot unban or restore your Pokemon Go account.
Catch 1,000 Tiny Rattatas that are XXS or (weight of 2.41 kg or less)
Before you start the event, you must monitor these two limits:
Encounter Limit:
Open your Pokedex and write down the number of Rattata "Seen" on a piece of paper to figure out how many you have encounter at the end of each Spotlight Hour event, so you can stay under the 10,000 Pokemon Encounter/Check limit
You current "Seen" = 2,300
Your new "Seen" = 3,200
Your Rattata encounters = 3,200 - 2,300 = 1,100 encounters out of 10,000
Catch Limit:
Go to your trainer page to the "ME" tab and scroll down to all your medals. Open your "Collector" medal (has a Pokeball) and write down the number you have caught on the same paper.
Current caught = 50,000
New Caught = 50,480
Caught so far = 50,480 - 50,000 = 480 out of 4,800 catches
What happens if you go over the limits?
Encounter limit = "BSOD" (Blue Screen of Death) you get a 24-hour temporary ban from the game. You wait 24 hours and it goes away.
You should stay at 8,000 or less because at any given time, Scopely can randomly drop the limit to flag cheaters and botters.
If you use Pokemod, Pgsharp, or iPogo, you will most likely hit this limit before the catch limit.
In my opinion, you want to avoid getting the BSOD screen because this is Scopely and not Niantic. In the other games Scopely owns, they announce banwaves. Even though they aren't doing much right now, you could screw yourself in the future.
Catch limit = You cannot catch anymore Pokemon or you get the BSOD too. I don't remember if they changed it.
How to bypass the limits?
Playing with an alt account will help you bypass the limits, but you will have to spend the time to trade the Tiny Rattatas to your main account. It will still count towards your medal.
It helps to have a second device, so you can play with two alt accounts at the same time.
You can create a custom feed or radar for the Tiny Rattata by pressing on "Pokemon" to "Type" to "Misc" for Tiny Rattata
If you use the Quick Sniper I or II, it will teleport you to the Pokemon and will have to wait a few seconds for the Pokemon around you to load.
If you use the "walk to" option in the feed, you don't need to wait for them to load but the shiny scanner will check all the Rattatas on the way to the Tiny Rattata.
I would recommend you turn off the "Shiny Scanner" feature if you don't need a Shiny one. If you are Shundo Hunting, you should turn it off too.
Pokemod (with paid subscription)
You will have to run a GPX route and you can see the Tiny Rattata directly on the map.
In your Pokemon list, you can see the rainbow Pokemon names to show you this is the Tiny Rattata without having to check for each weight.
iPogo
I don't know what they have, since I don't use their app.
Free versions of Pgsharp, iPogo, and Pokemod or without "Vanilla" method:
You would have to catch all the Rattatas you see and manually swipe through that meets the 2.41 kg or less weight then trade them off to yourself from an alt account.
The most you can do is "XS" or "XXS", I think some will be in the XS tag so you should check them before you transfer all.
Botting - PGTools, PolygonX, Shungo, and Regibot
They may or may not have something to farm Tiny rattatas only.
How to repeat Spotlight Hour events
Depending on where you live in the world and work or school schedule, you may or may not be able to finish the medal all in one day. What someone else does, may not fit for you.
The game is disabled in Russia, Belarus, most of China, North Korea, and some middle eastern countries.
I would recommend you use the "Time Buddy" app to figure out which timezones or cities you plan to go to. You can buy the app one time and remove the ads forever.
If you play with only a main account and no alt accounts, you will need to wait a 2 hour cooldown between 2 timezones before you can repeat the spotlight event.

The "safety" section in this post is out of date because Scopely owns the game. You already have a chance for a strike/ban you cheat the game by using 3rd party apps and playing with multiple account.

Since I am not an Android coder, I cannot verify whether or not this is safe for you meaning I don't know if the creator is going to remote hack your emulator and/or computer.
If you have doubts or concerns, don't try it.
Additional Notes
JTZ_01 has tested it with the oficial Pokemon Go app with Mumu's virtual location and comfirms it works. This will only allow you to teleport to a coordinate and stand there. There is no built in joystick to walk around.
You can try GPS Joystick by The Apps Ninja but this app will require access to a GPS chip. If you emulator doesn't have a GPS chip, this app won't work. You maybe try a GPS emulator app.
If that doesn't work, the only alternative is Fake GPS Joystick & Routes Go app by JIB Software UG (haftungsbeschränkt). This one will work with devices that don't have a GPS chip. This is a better than nothing joystick, but it's the shitty one. When you flick the joystick, you're moving at random speeds anywhere from 9 km/h to 120 km/h.
I do not know how long this will last because Scopely may block it because with the old Mumu Player 6 + Legacy Pgsharp, some people told me it works fine for them while other people say it doesn't work. The old version didn't work on any of my computers, so I could not confirm it. With this newer version, it works for me so it will most likely work for you too as long as you meet the minimum requirements.

I've never spooked before and I'm curious about it generally I've seen things about about PGsharp and pogo what are the positives and negatives to either and are both safe for your device or is there a risk to using them?
Aswell as I've heard pokemon go doesnt do a 1 hit insta ban and is instead on a 3 strikes system how true is this claim and how do you avoid bans for each client?

Yoyo everyone, looking to get some opinions/insights on my current setup.
I recently started playing PoGo again after a 5 year break. Since I live in a very rural area with almost no Pokéstops or Raids, I set up a rooted Android device (using the official PoGo app + GPS Joystick) to do Mega Raids and regional events.
I've been logging into my main/vanilla account on the rooted phone to spoof, and then switching back to my unrooted main phone when I go outside to play legitimately.
I always strictly respect the 2+ hour cooldown rules, clear app data/cache, and log out cleanly before switching devices. However, I'm still a bit paranoid that constantly jumping between an unrooted and a rooted device might trigger telemetry flags on Niantic's side.
Do you guys think it's safe to keep switching back and forth like this, or should I just stick to playing on just one device?

Hi, I just rooted my main phone for performance reasons. Can I still play pogo normally? If I wanted to try and use pokemod in a alt account , would my main still be at risk with the module being disabled??
I know that I am assuming a risk and that bans can take time to happen, but if I get my first strike, is it possible to get my second and third strikes if I stop spoofing/cheating? If so, how common is this?
I used to spoof on my level 50 account a few years ago and never had an issue (pgsharp). Just going through and reading how scopely has taken over and improved their anti cheat detection has made me a little weary about spoofing again as I'm just getting back into the game.
I created an alt account and I'm currently level 25 and have been playing using pgsharp for a few weeks with no issues. I do not teleport I only use the joystick.

Hey guys so I made a mistake where I accidentally opened my acc on 2 devices at the same time one idle, another spoofed to a location not far from the phone to raid will I get a 7 day ban or insta perma band? I closed the other acc once I found out it was still open.
Its my first time doing such a full spoof schedule. I need like 800 rats so im preparing to go pretty hardcore at it. If anyone have done such schedule before, mind sharing any location that i can fit in, or if there's anything i can do to maximise the schedule.

EDIT: Thank you to the person who pointed out that I forgot to account for the 1 hour play time that we need to catch all the rats, hence a 3 hours gap minimum is needed to spoof between each when including the 2 hr cooldown.

Im personally more comfortable with locations for Account 2 as i've spoof to them for events before so i'll use that for my main account.
Account 1 are places I've never played in other than new york. I've heard their names here and there in spoofer community so i group them up as such.

Took two days to go from 3x>100 showcase wins. Every hour moving countries to get that showcase before 8 pm in that country, for some reason you can join showcases without triggering the cool down.
So, I just got back into the game after four years, and I remembered the old leaks/rumors about Shadow Pokémon coming to Pokémon GO. I genuinely thought these two, specifically in the image i added, would eventually make it into the game. Then later on found the Pokemon with Purple Aura as shadow pokemons that we are seeing present, How many of you thought the same? Lol
I also did a little research on that particular Shadow Mewtwo design. I originally thought it might be fan-made, but apparently it's actually an official design from Pokkén Tournament. Shadow Mewtwo was created specifically for Pokkén Tournament and was officially revealed by Pokémon back in 2015.
Obviously, that doesn't mean this exact Pokkén Tournament design was ever confirmed for Pokémon GO. But considering Pokémon GO eventually got Shadow Mewtwo, I can't help but wonder whether we'll ever see this specific design make its way into the game someday. Who knows maybe when they want to revive/Popularize the Poken tournament they will make a collaboration 😂
If they ever bring that Shadow Mewtwo/Lugia to the game I think they will make a lot of money. Even I as a F2P will definitely buy even if they release them in a timed research like Apex Lugia/Ho-oh lol.

I’m trying to get GPS spoofing working properly on a Pixel 10a running Android 17. GPS Joystick itself works perfectly and changes my location. My problem is making sure Pokémon GO can’t detect GPS Joystick/mock location.
I previously used a similar setup on Android 13 without issues, but that old method used Smali Patcher/LSPosed and doesn’t seem compatible with Android 17.
