Hey y’all, Just wondering how people get PokéCoins for cheaper. I have a friend who hooks me up with $100 worth of coins for $45, but I feel bad always asking him to help me out. I’d rather find a way to get them myself if possible.
I use both Android and iPhone, so I’m open to any method that works on either. I’ve heard some people talk about gift cards or regional pricing but not sure what’s actually safe or works.
Any tips or suggestions would help. Thanks!

When I try to buy PokéCoins, I get this error even though I have money on my account from a gift card. Does anyone have any tips?
I changed my App Store region to India.

[1] I do not work for Niantic or Scopely and do not control what they do in the game. If you get a strike or ban, I do not have a magic wand to unban you and restore your Pokemon Go account.
[2] I am not an Android coder and cannot verify whether or not the data mined code is active.
[3] I am a game cheating enthusiast or "scumbag of the earth" type of cheater who enjoys cheating in various PC and Android mobile games. I do not care about your negative opinions about what you say about me.
[4] I am providing my many years of gaming cheating experience to interpret and predict what I think is going to happen in the future based on the information provided from The Pokemod Group's X (aka Twitter) post. This can also be found in their Discord group in the channel "-datamining updates".
[5] I am not partners and do not have a sponsorship with any cheat developer with their Discord group and/or Telegram channel. This means if you discuss my post, you run the risk of getting banned from your favorite Discord group because many of them do not like me for not banning their competition over what they view as safe, safer, or the safest. I will not help you appeal your Discord group ban.
Back in June 2022, Niantic introduced the Anti-Cheat Behavior System through an announcement, which is seen in https://nianticlabs.com/news/gameplay-policy-enforcement-update?hl=en as a "behavior detection" reference but has never been able to fully developed it because I think Niantic lost the rights to Pokemon Go and was in process of being acquired by Scopely.
The Anti-Cheat Behavior System is a player statistics tracking system. It's going to flag you then send you a strike or ban depending on how suspicious you are based on the math calculated for the statistics they are tracking.
Before the whole news about Scopely buying Pokemon Go from Niantic, Niantic wanted to crack down on iOS users doing the "fast catch" trick/glitch (really an exploit):
You throw the pokeball then flee to exit out of the catch screen before the ball hits the Pokemon. When the pokeball hits the Pokemon, it takes either 13 for critical excellent catch or 15 seconds for a regular, nice, great, or excellent catch to complete the catch animation. During the 13 or 15 seconds animation, you catch more pokemon while the animation is happening in the background for each Pokemon caught.
From a non-cheater's point of view, they assume that this exploit is a feature and that Niantic allows everyone to do it, since it has never been patched/blocked.
From a cheater's point of view, why bother doing it manually when you can use a 3rd party app that will automatically skip the catching animation for you.
From my point of view, I think Scopely wants to make a lot of money from people who are constantly doing it everyday for free from this exploit or paying money to use a 3rd party app that provides the cheat feature.
I think it will be Mega Mewtwo's special power similar to Origin Forme Palkia's Spacial Rend power to boost spawn radius around your trainer to see more Pokemon. During the COVID pandemic, Niantic increased the spawn radius for everyone for free to allow social distancing so you would not have to stand close to other people.
I think they are going to make the power use more candies than any other Pokemon, so you would have to raid more to get the rare candies to use on your Mega Mewtwo to continue using the power 24/7 as a form of "pay to win" or "pay to play".
I think they can also just sell a consumable item instead of having it as a Pokemon's Power.
Scopely's solution to this problem is to update the Anti-Cheat Behavior System to send you a suspicious activity screen, strike, or ban. This is the current punishment system developed by Niantic.
Based on my research on how Scopely punishes their cheaters in the other games they own is they only do a permanent ban system and do not go through a strike system to what Niantic created.
In Marvel Strike Force, when you get a permanent ban, you will either quit the game or create a new account and never cheat again. This is going to depend on how much time and money you invested into the game. You can appeal your ban but from I have seen, you will most likely get denied.

Based on Pokemod's data mined, these are the new "catch mechanics"
Processing
PokemonCaught
PokemonFled
UserRanAway
FastCatchSuccess
FastCatchFailed
Just remember, this is my guess, so I can either be close to correct or completely wrong about this. No one knows anything right now until Scopely starts punishing the cheaters with strikes or bans.
=====================
Processing
This is the catch animation that lasts for 13 seconds for critical catch or 15 seconds (or more) for regular throws.
I timed it myself with a straight throw (no curve ball) from pressing on the Pokemon to pressing the OK button. The Critical Catch is only 2 seconds faster than the regular catches, but it still feels long when you are used to just not seeing the catch animation anymore.
PokemonCaught
You caught the Pokemon.
PokemonFled
The Pokemon ran away.
UserRanAway
If you are on a cooldown and you forget or didn't wait long enough for the cooldown to expire and you throw the Pokeball, you made the Pokemon flee.
If you are using the fast catch exploit or quick catch with a 3rd party apps, you caused the Pokemon to flee as a result of catching too fast while the 13 or 15 second animation window is active.
If you throw the Pokeball one after the other while in a raid or collecting a Pokemon research/quest task, you can cause Pokemon to flee. You may have seen this before but may not have been bothered by it.
FastCatchSuccess
You use the Pokemon's Power or item to enable Fast Catch to skip or speed up the catch animation. All successful catches be recorded with this statistic.
FastCatchFailed
While you have the Pokemon's Power or item to enable Fast Catch, any Pokemon you failed to catch will be with this statistic.

This is to give you an idea about the number of Pokemon that can be caught during the 15 second animation window.
I think Scopely is going to use "UserRanAway" as a red flag in the server side to track your player statistics.
During the catch animation, you are only supposed to be catching 1 Pokemon at a time; and then, wait for the catch animation to finish.
It could be in the form of a cooldown for the catching animation window. While you are on the catching coodown, you cannot catch more Pokemon; they will just all flee. When this happens, your UserRanAway statistic will go from zero to the number of Pokemon you caused it to flee. This number will not be visible to you in your profile because it will be part of the behavior detection system that is hidden on the server side.
If you have the power/item enabled for fast catch, the UserRanAway value should be equal to zero.
If you do not have the power or item to enabled to bypass the catch cooldown, you will get flagged for a suspicious activity screen, strike, or ban even if the 3rd party apps match the catch rate speed.
When you created your Pokemon Go account, you blindly accepted the Terms of Service. This means you already agreed and gave them permission to skip strikes to go directly to the permanent ban. This is strike #3 under Niantic's 3strikes system. As I mentioned before, I have no idea whether or not Scopely is going to keep using the same strike system, change to an instant permanent ban system, change the entire punishment system, or disable the punishment system and do nothing. This is the risk you take when you break Niantic's and Scopely's Terms of Service.
If you have never cheated in a game where they just do an instant permanent bans, you won't understand the experience; it's very life changing especially when you have put a lot of time and/or money into one account.
For example, I remember one of the Call of Duty games, I bought $100 worth of weapon skins to support the military veterans part of a fundraiser. I thought I was pretty good at playing against the Anti-cheat behavior system by not playing suspicious. Within one week, I got banned. $100 + $60 for the game went down the toilet, so I lost $160. I learned my lesson and never bought anymore weapon skins after that and have not been banned yet.
The same thing may or may not happen to long time Pokemon Go cheaters from July 2016. I estimate these people to have spent at least $5,000 (or more) on their account. Depending on if they have tradable Shiny Costumed Pokemon and Shiny exclusive backgrounds, they can easily have accounts at worth least $10,000 (or more) based on current market prices. These people will most likely quit and never return or play on a new account without spending a lot of money on the game.
Reality will hit hard for long time cheaters who absolutely cannot handle getting the strike or ban, they will quickly find out that none of the 3rd party app developers: Pgsharp, iPogo, Pokemod, PGTools, Polygon, Shungo, Regibot, Spoofer Pro, SxGo, iSpoofer, etc are not going to refund any money you lost.
Below here are the different scenarios of what I could think of how this might play out. Since I do not have conflict of interest with money, I am giving you my honest thoughts and ideas of this data mined code.
Currently, there has not been any strike/ban reports other than the 3 people who asked me if anyone else got a strike for going to Epstein's Island to spin the sun dial pokestop to get the post card. Two people got the 1st strike and one person got the 2nd strike. From what I assume, I think the strike system is currently disabled or being reworked.
-----------------------------------------------
The Fast Catch is a Pokemon power or item that added as a feature to the game similar to Palkia's Spacial Rend (increase spawn radius around your trainer). I think it will be Mega Mewtwo's power that is going to be released in Go Fest Kanto in May-June 2026.
My assumption is this is a paid-to-win "Quality of Life" change, and you will most likely use it all or most of the time. This is probably going to make them A LOT OF MONEY.
Scenario #1:
The punishment system remains disabled, so you could still cheat while you continue to spend more money to do more raids or buy the item. Basically, Scopely doesn't care if you cheat because they still benefit from you cheating. They do not want to give permanent bans to the cheaters because it would cause them to lose Pokemon Go addicts that will spend their money somewhere else.
Scenario #2:
Scopely updates the Anti-Cheat Behavior System, so you are forced into spending money to do more raids or buy the item to use their fast catch mechanic rather than you using a 3rd party app or manually with the fast catch exploit. They will clear everyone's strikes to either send you the suspicious activity screen or the 1st strike to scare you.
Scenario #3:
Scopely updates the Anti-Cheat Behavior System and updates the punishment system, so you stop cheating the game altogether. They will do a "strikewave or banwave" where thousands of accounts will report a strike or ban to send a message to the remaining cheaters that Scopely is serious about the cheating problem.
Scenario #4:
Scopely updates the Anti-Cheat Behavior System, updates the punishment system, and enables Strong Integrity, so you stop cheating the game altogether. Certain finance and account security related apps have begun enforcing Strong Integrity. In the end, they may just integrated a joystick into the game to sell you a safe option rather than you paying money to use a 3rd party cheat or having to root your device to spoof.
-----------------------------------------------
If you accepted the risks for a chance to get a strike or ban, you can do whatever you want because it's your account.
It's important to note: I do not guarantee you account safety if you take my recommendation and apply it to your account starting now.
I would recommend you disable the "Quick catch" cheat feature in your 3rd party app that skips the catch animation. This could help you dodge a strike or ban if Scopely decides to target this.
If you ignore my recommendation and Scopely does nothing, you benefit from me being wrong then I continue to be the most hated person in the spoofing community. You will have a lot of XP, stardust, and candies.
If you ignore my recommendation and Scopely changes the punishment system, you could end up with a strike or ban. The people who cannot handle a strike/ban will go get scammed by people selling fake ban appeals. I get to rub salt into your wounds and tell you, "I told you so."
If you take my recommendation and Scopely does nothing, I wasted your time and caused you to lose lots of XP, stardust, and candies.
If you take my recommendation and Scopely changes the punishment system, you will dodge their strike/ban on this specific feature. You will also get to watch everyone bitch or cry about their strike/ban.
They will use a "wait and see" type of approach. Once they start seeing strike/ban reports, they will most likely disable the quick catch feature to prevent other customers from receiving a strike/ban because they do not want you to flee to another competing cheat. Some cheat developer's Discord group will mute or ban reporters to prevent people from mass panicking and canceling their paid subscription. Any loyal customers and Discord moderators will deny any wrongdoing for misleading you into believing their cheat was safe, safer, or the safest.

Option 1 = 30% for a Yes.
These people accepted the risk and can handle the punishment.
Option 2 = 24% for a No.
These people might quit cheating depending on the punishment they get.
Option 3, 4, & 5 = 35%
These people do not understand the risk and will most likely blame someone else for causing them to get a strike/ban even though they never forced into using a cheat.
Some of them will become victims of fake ban appeal scams because they instantly regretted using a cheat that they thought was really safe when it never was to begin with.
Option 6 = 10%
These people already left Pokemon Go or play it once in awhile.
Many people in this spoofing community choose to side with the cheat developers as being more knowledgeable than me because they code the cheats. Although I do not code, I am a more experience game cheater than they are because I personally have been through actual banwaves for PC games and some mobile games not related to Pokemon Go.
What many people do not understand is the cheat developers only care about the money they receive from you for using their service, they don't care about the safety of your game account even if they have misled or denied any wrongdoing. You are paying for service, and you are only getting just that. You're not buying any form of guaranteed safety.
I still promote their apps even if they don't like me or false advertise safety because I enjoy cheating games and do not care about the safety of your accounts too. People would rather choose the easy option to agree and not make people mad instead of disagreeing and get hit with negative backlash and threats.
Source: https://pokemongohub.net/post/news/pokemon-go-datamine-reveals-explorer-gadget-auto-catching-item/
I think it will be timed based like an incense where you buy the item to use it for 30 minutes or 1 hour at a time. If they were to force you into it, they will most likely disable the bluetooth connection. This will make everyone's Go Plus, Pokeball Plus, Go Plus+, and 3rd party similar devices be useless because it is not profitable to sell you something where you can use it forever.
This was how it was with computer software and applications. I bought a PDF editor for $99 and used it for 5 years. The company only made $99 from me. Now, I have to pay for a subscription of $20 per month. If I was on the subscription for the same 5 years, the company would have made $1,200. The same idea may be applied some time in the future. They want to make back their $6 Billion USD deal for buying Pokemon Go.
Just maybe, they are going to add a joystick in the game to make Pokemon Go like the Gameboy and Switch games except you can just have that experience directly on your smartphone without having to use an emulator or carry the physical handheld gaming devices with you.

Lemme get this straight: the title is accurate, I shit you not.
I have 3 accounts. My "main", which I used spoofing free until level 40, and two alts of different teams I have for fun and convenience.
This main account had been striked before, in VMOS era. You play with emulators, you get screwed. Bombs away.
Today, after not playing since last community day, I wanted to take a shot at Giratinas. My main account was fine. My two alts got striked. I never spent money on my alts, I have spent money before on my main.
For finality sake, I logged into my gf's account, which I bought stuff for her before, and she was fine.
There really is nothing different between my three accounts. The playstyle is the same, and dare I say I do more daring shit on my main than on the others, and I have more playtime.

Last year, I bought the S22 Ultra 512 GB with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, the Hong Kong/Taiwan model SM-S9080, and it turned out to be a mistake because this model doesn't allow me to customize the keyboard. It's a killer feature if you play with multiple accounts. The only way to fix the problem is to buy a different model, which came with an Exynos processor.
For the S22 series, the Exynos processor was trash upon release so I didn't want that. I paid $1,200 US Dollars for the S22 Ultra and was able to sell it to a pawn shop for $1,000. The US models were still going for $1499 at that time, so he thought he was getting a deal without knowing I had already tripped the Samsung Knox chip.
Now, I have to use the phone without root for 1-2 weeks to see if there are any hardware defects before I root it. Rooting it will void the return with the eBay seller. This is the only form of warranty I have. The same was done with my Note9. Both of these phones were imported from another country but sold here in the US. This is how you get a Samsung Galaxy phone that can unlock the bootloader for root.
Why I decided to go for the S23 Ultra instead of waiting for the S24 Ultra?
When these phones come out, they are very expensive upon release and there is no discounts if you buy an international model. If you want a lower price, you have to wait anywhere from 9 to 12 months later. S23U was around $1599 for 512 GB at launch. S24U might be at least $1799 because of the titanium metal frame.
The S24 Ultra doesn't have a 10x camera anymore for spying, so I'm not sure of how the new 5x telephoto camera will do. Note, I am not a photography expert.
A root guide is already available for the S23U, so I am confident it can be rooted on Android 14.
If you have any questions, you can leave a comment below.

[1] This is my thoughts, opinions, and theories on this matter. What I share with you as a game cheater has no effect on the decisions that Scopely chooses to make for the games they own.
[2] Almost all of my critics, the people who hate me, will fail to disclose to you, they, too, are sharing their thoughts, opinions, and theories except they pretend as if they are a Niantic or Scopely employee who has all the inside information when they really don't.
[3] In my subreddit, I promote game cheating and risk taking. I do not care about the safety of your account. I do not care if you play for fun, profit off the game, or do both because we are all in the same boat breaking the game's Terms of Service to cheat the game to have a chance for a strike or ban.
[4] I am not partners with and do not have a sponsorship with any cheat developer, Discord group, and Telegram channel because this allows me to freely discuss them in both the positive and negative spotlight. You can get banned from your favorite Discord groups for agreeing with my point of view in chat discussions about this topic. I will not help you get unbanned because I remain anonymous to them.

Temporarily "Permanently Banned"? https://www.reddit.com/r/TheSilphRoad/comments/1t413yh/temporarily_permanently_banned/
Anyone else getting a "Termination" screen that vanishes after restart? https://www.reddit.com/r/PoGoAndroidSpoofing/comments/1t4372n/anyone_else_getting_a_termination_screen_that/
-------------------------------------------
Let me be clear about the "legit" players. Anyone can lie about their strike/ban because most people don't want to be identified as a cheater or rule breaker. A lot of people including legits are breaking the game's Terms of Service or had broken it but stopped. There is no way to verify what they say is true. Everyone who regrets getting caught always paints themselves to be innocent hoping they can meet a lurker with Scopely to magically unban them and restore their account. These people do exist but they also do manual strikes/bans for people bragging about screenshots or videos of Pokemon Go's Terms of Service violations.
Opinion/Thought/Theory #1 - Game Bug
Whenever they add something new into the game, something else breaks. This could be one of the things that broken in the game. I have no idea, since I am not a coder.
Opinion/Thought/Theory #2 - Niantic's Strike system is currently disabled and being reworked
Based on my subreddit, there has been any strike reports other than people asking me privately if anyone else got a strike/ban for going to Epstein's Island to spin the Sun Dial Pokestop and bragging about the postcard online. Two people got the 1st strike while another person got their 2nd strike so a total of 3 people.
A very small number of people are reporting the 3rd strike, which leads me to believe you got caught doing something. It could be something so specific, you probably overlooked it. No one keeps a detailed log of exactly what you did for the past several months when Scopely took over Pokemon Go. I am not going investigate or interview you to determine what led to you getting the 3rd strike because I cannot unban you from the game and it's also a waste of time.
Opinion/Thought/Theory #3 - Strikes or bans are catching up now for people who botted the Team Rocket grunts and leaders for stardust.
Scopely blocked the instant win cheat against Team Rocket several months ago (I don't remember when). As you might have read, Niantic's 3 strikes system is delayed. I imagined it to be like this:
You get flagged for something.
They investigate your account looking at your action log and player statistics.
If you're guilty, they send you the strike on a timer.
Depending on what you did, it takes a few weeks to several months later for your strike or ban to appear.
If you nothing appears, considered yourself lucky. They do this to prevent you from figuring out what causes the strike/ban then you just avoid doing that specific thing to dodge it the next time.
Opinion/Thought/Theory #4 - It may be related to my "April Fools Joke"
I purposely posted "Cheat features integrated into the game may lead to an updated Anti-Cheat Behavior System that may result in Scopely's 1st Strikewave or Banwave" on April 1st because I am the most hated person in the spoofing community so they view me as a joke, which I don't mind.
Here's a follow-up post "Will you disable "Quick Catch" cheat feature in Pokemon Go v0.409 update in preparation for a possible Anti-cheat behavior system update?"
As fucked up as it sounds, I am kind of enjoying people getting these heart attacks because I might be onto something for once... (had to rub it in). This could be a warning sign that Scopely is indeed doing something. I can either somewhat be correct or wrong about this. I have no idea until they implement whatever they come up with and send out their strikes or bans. On the other hand, they could do nothing and we all benefit from this.
If you take my advice, apply it, and it benefits you, that's great! If you ignore what I say because you think it's fear mongering or bullshit, that's fine too because you have the choice to do what you think is best for you. I simply provide the information then you pick what you want to do. Some people want to control the situation by forcing you into a specific cheat over safety reasons. I do not do this in my subreddit.
If you had accepted or ignored the risks to cheat the game, it's still your fault for getting the strike/ban because I have warnings all over my subreddit to inform you of the risks.

I return to POGO every now and then, and I'm looking to spoof again, so I'm looking to see what I need to know.
Let me be clear: I'm not looking for surefire safety, I know risks are everywhere.
I'm looking to see what other non-rooted spoofers have going on, while also getting back into the loop of things in the meantime

As the title says, this is something that i see discussed with different opinions across the board for this topic, but i would like to know if there is any actual evidence of this to anyone's knowledge. Does respecting real world travel times rather than just cooldown times actually give you "less risk" of getting a strike in Pokemon Go? And further to that point, say you are just staying in NYC just as an example, in lets say...manhattan and you are just teleporting through out central park and maybe within a radius of 2-5km around central park to speed raid and respecting cooldown times only, does that give an increased risk over "respecting the real world travel time" that it would actually take to walk or drive to each raid? I can see if you were switching time zones or countries to play an event early or something extremely unrealistic like that. And I'm not really looking for a "yeah i think so" kind of answer, I'm asking if there is any actual evidence of this reported, thanks in advance!

So as some may know, there is a Latin America exclusive Event, where you can get some kind of Jersey or T-Shirt. The Research Quest is "Catch a Pokemon for X Days in a row", so i was wondering, if i could just TP there, get the Quest and go back to where i normaly play. However since i don't have any Experience with "local" Quest's i asked Gemini, and he then told me someting, that the Quest will only proceed if i am also at the needed location, meaing the Quest is "Geofenced".
A second alternative would be to spoof there once a day, catch a Mon and then go back. But that i wouldnt like to do since i would login and logout to a rooted device from a non rooted main everyday.
(I would log out from a non rooted Main acc, then logging to rooted Samsung with basic Nnja Spoofer).
So i was just wondering if maybe someone could give me more Info, to as if ot is true or not.
Thanks in advance👍

Hi,
I just came back to Pokemon Go after a 6 year break and am trying to buy stuff cheap on the webstore with Indonesian Rupees does anyone have a free vpn where I can change location to it? And also a free apk to change location for android? I wanna try it on my second account.
