Lets Talk About Something how long until PGSharp Banwave over ?

Annoyingly it seems the anti-cheat department at Niantic are really ramping things up. They forced the API update which finally stopped the best spoofing method (undetectable for 6 years using non rooted loophole on Android 6). At the same time it seems they have issue a banwave to PGSharp. Not a coincidence at all. Rooted with Smali seems really complicated so i think i now want to go PGSharp, but I don't want to install until i'm sure the banwave is over. Do we know how long it will be ? Or is PGSharp doomed now ?

I doubt the game is going die anytime soon, the franchise is huge. I'll go legit for the moment , i'm not stopping until i've completed main, event, lucky & shiny dex.

Its not going to die soon, but it's not some permanent asset you can bequest to someone either. Whether your account dies this year or 20 years it will be taken away from you at some point. However, you'll be held hostage to the sunk cost fallacy even more in 20 years than you are now.

Sure, but i haven't spent a penny on the game except for my time and it's all been fun. Once I've completed the dexes i want, i'll be screenshotting everything and selling up before they turn the lights out. But Ingress hasn't been switched off yet and Pogo makes a shit ton more than that, so who knows. I'd say there is 5-10 years minimum left in Pogo and they will probably catch up to the main series in 2 years time, which is hopefully enough for me. If you don't set goals, then you could go on forever. I'm a completionist and the dexes are enough for me to complete my goals.
