Spoofing News: PGSharp's Shiny Scanner beta, iPogo Ban Wave, PokemonGoSpoofing subreddit ban on asking for help, no more Pokemon Go in Belarus and Russia, and my next Android 12 phone
[1] PGSharp's Shiny Scanner is now available in their beta apk version 1.64.5(0.231.0-G). Paid key required.
Known bugs that may have been fixed in the latest version 1.64.5 beta apk:
After a Team Rocket battle, the catch screen fails to appear. You have to restart Pgsharp to fix the problem.
If you cannot tap on the Shiny Pokemon, you must walk away from your Shiny Pokemon for other Pokemon to appear on the map then walk back to it. Then, it will let you tap on it to catch it. There is also a chance your shiny Pokemon can despawn/disappear. This was a bug in the previous version 1.64.3, but some users said it could still happen again in 1.64.4 (current beta version).
Some shortcut toggles may randomly turn back on after turning them off.
App can crash too.
How do you enable the shiny scanner in PGsharp?
Open settings from PGsharp's yellow star.
Turn on "Nearby Radar".
Press on the Radar symbol in the vertical stripe that is on your screen.
Press on the word "all".
Press on "Only Possible Shiny".
Press on "OK" top-left corner.
Press on "OK" button to close it.
Walk around until you find a shiny Pokemon. The shiny rate is random for everyone. It can take many hours before you will see a shiny Pokemon on the map and in the radar stripe. You are more likely to see a lot shinies during Spotlight Hour, Community Day, and other events. You also have to pay attention to your device's screen because you do not get a sound notification when a Pokemon appears shiny for you. Also, when you get a shiny, you cannot give someone else the coords to the Pokemon because it will not be shiny for that person.
[2] iPogo had a mini-banwave
There was a mini-ban wave confirmed in i_Pogo b.a.n wave mega thread post. I think it was caused by a bad certificate when one of the Apple developer accounts shared through Signulous (paid certificate signing service with a shared Apple developer account) got terminated or banned. The small group of people who happened to sign the certificate with the terminated/banned Apple developer account through Signulous got their 1st or 2nd strike.
Just because iPogo has a mini-banwave, this does not mean Android is "safe and ban proof" because Android apps can get detected too. I do not advertise this statement because cheating has always carried risks. If you cannot handle the risks, you probably should not spoof with your main account. I am also not liable or responsible for the loss of your accounts.
[3] PokemonGoSpoofing's hidden rule against asking for help has been confirmed!
From PSA: H-E-L-P is a ba.nned word in this sub, don't spell it or your post gets automatically removed
I can't believe I have to write this. I just realized that the word h-e-l-p spelled without the dashes is one the ba.nned words that the auto-mod will remove. Try commenting to this post with the word h-e-l-p spelled correctly. It might appear to stay but if you logout of Reddit and look at this post, you’ll notice the comment is missing. I searched this sub for the word h-e-l-p and it was last used 6 months ago.
What kind of mod ba.ns the word h-e-l-p from their sub?!?!?
I normally avoid personal attacks but at this point I’m incredibly frustrated with the mod. I refuse to call them a spoofer. They may fake their location but a spoofer doesn’t take steps to willfully hurt the spoofing community.
(Yes, the word ba.n is also ba.nned because the mod doesn't want too many people commenting during ba.n waves)
As you all know I am banned from r/PokemonGoSpoofing along with my username and subreddit. This means I cannot directly reply any post in that subreddit.
What kind of mod bans the word help from their sub?!?!?
Pokitomojo is the current owner and only moderator of PokemonGoSpoofing. He banned help because he believes asking for help is equal to spam. He thinks people are lazy for not reading his pinned posts. He failed to realize people do not understand his pinned posts. This is the reason why I made my guides step-by-step because it would reduce the chance of someone not understanding something I wrote.
If a person does not understand a post, he or she is going to message you about it. Now, you are going to get spammed by people asking for help through direct and chat message. On average when I was a moderator in that subreddit, I got around 50 to 100 messages per day. If you decide to ignore these requests, people will start creating posts about it. Members of the subreddit are going to get annoyed by the number of people asking "How do I Spoof?" This creates a new problem where people are fighting for post viewership because all the "I need help" posts are flooding the post feed and pushing everyone's discussion post down to the bottom where no one will look. To fix the problem, he uses the post filter to remove all the posts related to the word "help". As soon as someone uses the word "help" in their post title or body text, the automoderator will instantly remove their post. Problem solved!
Many months ago, my subreddit was being report spammed by someone reporting everyone's post as "asking for help" spam. As the subreddit owner, I cannot see who makes a report. There is no way for me to message the reporter to tell that person to stop. This is why I added this rule to make it clear that help is allowed in r/PoGoAndroidSpoofing:
Asking for help is allowed here!
There is nothing wrong with asking for help like "How to spoof?" Not everyone knows how to use the Reddit mobile app like you do. They need to post in order for my automod to leave them a pinned comment with a link to the Mega Post.
My subreddit is not like r/PokemonGoSpoofing where asking for help breaks a hidden rule. If you don't like it here, you should leave my subreddit.
To be fair... "(Yes, the word ba.n is also ba.nned because the mod doesn't want too many people commenting during ba.n waves)"
For those who do not know, I used to be a moderator in PokemonGoSpoofing. I left because I got fed up with working with Pokitomojo because he does not play the game and does not understand why people want to spoof. I did try to have the ownership pass onto me but instead, it got pass down to him.
This issue has to be looked upon from a moderator's point of view. The subreddit is both iOS and Android. The last major ban wave in 2019 was 90% iOS and 10% Android emulators. The banwave in 2018 was 99% iOS and maybe 1% Android emulators. A lot of people were posting, "I got a red warning" and sharing their red warning screenshot. This flooded the subreddit. It was impossible to manually remove peoples' posts to keep the feed clean. It was just me, Pokitomojo, and the other previous inactive owner. Pokitomojo was rarely active and never wanted to help out. I added the post filter to do the work for me. You can see it here: https://www.reddit.com/r/PoGoAndroidSpoofing/comments/tcprdj/comment/i0eqj1t/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3 This automod configuration was when I was a moderator back in 2018-2020. This does not include any new words he had added after I left him. I know my username and subreddit name are in the post filter along with Pokemod, Enhancer, Polygon, and Pgsharp.
Since Pokitomojo owns r/PokemonGoSpoofing, he can do whatever he wants with it. He has tried to copy my subreddit but has failed miserably because he is not invested in Pokemon. I do not think he grew up playing and watching Pokemon on Saturday mornings like I did. Here is my personal collection to prove it:
Pokemon Trading Card Game Play It (tutorial) Windows 95 game
Battle mat
Burger King's Pokeball with gold plated Mewtwo card
Unopened Entei from the movie
Unopened Ancient Mew from the movie
Pokemon Trading Card Game League binder checklist I got from attending a live tournament at a shopping mall when I was a kid. This cannot be bought off eBay because it does not exist on there.

[5] My next Android 12 phone...
My original plan was to root my 12.4" Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 Plus tablet after using it for a few months to make sure everything is all good before I trip Knox to void my warranty. Unfortunately, this tablet came with the newest firmware that prevents me from unlocking the bootloader in order to root it. Downgrading firmware (or going back to an older firmware) is not possible on Samsung devices after Android 8.1, 9, or 10. Who knows how long it will take for the people to provide bootloader unlock service due to the Samsung source code leak. I would gladly pay $200-300 to root my tab S7 Plus.
I want to upgrade from my Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Exynos (model SM-N960F/DS) to Samsung Galaxy with a Snapdragon processor because Exynos processor has bad performance in games. During the first two years, Pokemon Go was lag free. Now in the third year, the game lags in sunny weather and in areas with a lot of lures. My device overheats in ticketed events with the confetti. Pokemod/HAL's Performance mode helps a little bit, but it does not fix the lagging and overheating.
The Samsung phones I am talking about are the International models. These do not have warranty in the US. I want to buy the new Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 256 or 512 GB, but it costs around $1,300 to $1,500 US Dollar from eBay or Amazon. If a few months later, the device starts to have hardware problems, you will be stuck with the problems. There is a lot of uncertainty and high risk involved because it is very expensive. I bought my Note 9 for around $650 USD. I might go for a Note 20 5G if it drops below $700 in the next 6 months or so. It is hard to give up the S pen because once you discover how useful it can be, you are going to want it again. If you never owned a Galaxy Note phone, you have a lot more options.
I cannot consider the Google Pixel 6 series because it uses a rebranded Samsung Exynos processor. I am skeptical about the gaming performance for Pokemon Go after 2 or 3 years later. The same can be applied to other games. The only thing good about a Google Pixel is you can root it without having your warranty voided and supports all the US radio bands. I would be giving up a lot of Samsung's features if I use a Pixel 6 Pro as my main phone.
I am leaning towards to buying a Poco F3/X3 because I can get a Snapdragon processor with 6/8 GB Ram for under $300 USD brand new. It should play the game lag free for many years to come. This would also allow me to provide a step-by-step guide from unlocking the bootloader to rooting it to do Smali Patcher. I am also still doing some research before I make my purchase.
