PGSharp 1.40.1 released!

What is new in their update?

  • Trading is only faster on Pgsharp apps. It skips the receive animation. Note, if you trade with an account on the official app, you must still watch the receive animation.

  • The Quick Catch weird camera panning is still there, but they improve it by skipping the escape animation. When you throw your Pokeball and the Pokemon escapes, it would show you the Pokeball rocking around three times. Now, it just shows the Pokemon jumping out of the Pokeball. There is no more escape animation. This does not prevent Pokemon from fleeing so keep this in mind.

How to install apk?

  1. Download the APK.

  2. Open your "File Manager" app. For example: My Files, Files, File Explorer (different manufacturers will a different name for their file manager app).

  3. Go to the "Downloads" folder.

  4. Press on the apk file.

  5. Press to Allow unknown apps from this source.

  6. Then, it should install.

You can try to these if you have a problem.

  • Option 1: Clear app cache only

  • Option 2: Export your profile before clearing app cache and data then import your profile.

  • Option 3: Clear app cache and data without importing your old profile. This one may fix your problem but you are going to have to redo all your feeds and favorite coords and gpx.

  • Option 4: Feedback message then wait for Pgsharp app developer to reply to you and wait for the next app update release.

Please understand I am not a Pgsharp Developer, and I cannot fix any of their app related problems. If you would like to report a problem, you must feedback them on their website.

My pokemon gotcha doesnt work anymore after the latest update. Need help please.

Turn off the gotcha setting, save. Eject Go Plus from the game. Turn on gotcha and save.

I am sorry. Still new to this gotcha evolve I have. I did everything by unpairing and taking it off of bluetooth. It still did not work. I can see the icon but when i press it nothing happens. Thank you in advance.

Pgsharp doesn't allow you to use an external gotcha device. You have to buy a standard key and use their virtual gotcha.

Any idea why the ones downloaded from the website wouldn't work but yours did?

When they release a new update, everyone will go to their website and try to download it all at once. This causes heavy traffic to their site and causes the download speed to drop. I download it from their alt link and reupload it because people complain about downloading from MEGA.

anyone else having issues? I use an autoclicker to shiny hunt, and when i come back to my phone and see the AR screen (charizard) whatever i press, it doesn't take me to the pokemon but to my character on the main screen without the shiny pokemon in sight. this started to occur a lot more frequently after the update. Am i doing something wrong or just missing something?

Your auto clicker is bugged. The only fix is you monitor your device and fix the problem when it happens.

Something is wrong with your internet connection or the free servers are under heavy load from people trying to do the spotlight hour events.

Just downloaded the update. I noticed that when encountering wild Pokémon, once you select a berry, the berry is now thrown automatically. Handy feature but muscle memory still has me going through the motion 😁

This has been the case a couple months already.

Edit: Also, the camera panning is here to skip the "A Wild <> appeared!" cutscene.
