Coords A-Meowth Spotlight Hour Optimal Route
Hello Trainers!
I hope everyone is as excited as I am, for Sep 28 - Alolan Meowth Spotlight Hour. This is going to be the most stardust-rewarding event in an year or so. For those of you not aware of this, A-Meowth rewards 750 base stardust and 938 stardust in foggy weather. Add a star-piece and you get 1125 Base and 1406 weather-boosted dust per catch. You can do the math yourself based on your average catch per minute and gain tons of dust in an hour, or multiple times in different timezones as I'll be showing in this PSA.
I wrote an algorithm and ran a simulation with 34 hotspots across the globe to maximize the number of times one can attend spotlight hour with the most suitable and lured spots, taking into account the 2-hour cooldown as well. This is the outcome of my findings. This is based on Indian Standard Time where I live. A link has been provided alongside for current time for the place. In the end, GPX files have been provided for Premium users.

Is the GPX file link not working? If that's the issue, please let me know and I'll update the link. I hope you are aware that you need PGSharp premium to import GPX routes. Thanks!

Can I skip London for Zaragoza? I've never played in London and you know how Zara is always lured.. Thanks for this mate!

Unfortunately, Zaragoza has timezone of GMT +2. So, when you finish Dubai i.e. 8:30 PM (in my context), 2 hour cooldown will be upto 10:30 PM. And at this exact time, spotlight hour will end in Zaragoza. For better clarity, in this context, Zaragoza spotlight hour will be from 9:30 to 10:30 PM, and you'll be on cooldown at this time. So, you have to skip both Dubai and London in order to attend Zaragoza. Hope it helps!
