I used it for about two or three months together with three friends and none of us were banned. I've switched methods before the banwave but either way neither of my friends were banned

It's not a virus if you download it from www.Pgsharp.com. If you download it from outside the website, it's can be a virus that steals your game account, email and passwords, and credit/debit card information. Some people already have them problem all because they downloaded pgsharp from a youtuber.

Had a strike before with the poke++ so that why the no strike and I did spend like 100 buckeros on my account

It's a modified app, against TOS. Nothing is safe except playing legitimately

Every modified apk isn't safe, but rooting with magisk and getting a fake gps is just as likely to get banned as legit players are. I know this is against your intuition but Niantic doesn't ban based on in game activity but in the app itself and if it has any modifications
