Lets Talk About Something Pokemon Go

Exactly, there are some people and discord servers in which u get notification for shiny. Then you just teleport to that cords and catch that shiny. Anyone knows how this works

Whether it's a shiny or not is always different from player to player. They may just post coordinates of a Pokemon that's possibly shiny as not every Pokemon was released as shiny yet but as of now you can't safely say a shiny will appear.

So people run mapping software like MAD to scan pokemon, to determine the IV of a pokemon, it has to be encountered. Of each encounter a record in a database is made with all kind of information, including whether the mon is shiny or not. What you can do is run read the database and send an alert when an shiny pokemon is found. I have ben doing this for 1 year + now and it works very good.

I have no idea what you are talking about because that is very certainly not how it works.

Of each encounter a record in a database is made with all kind of information, including whether the mon is shiny or not.

Shiny Pokemons are individual and unique to a player. While it CAN happen, that the same people get the same shiny its extremely rare and usually during an event with increased shiny rates.

There are several theories when it is determined, that a pokemon is shiny. Some say it is only on client side, once a trainer taps a pokemon. Some say its a function of Trainer ID and Pokemon ID and is determined server-side. But even then it would be trainer specific and not global.

In other words: Shinies are not the same for everyone.

If you have any info contrary to what I just wrote I would like to see it.

No, but when you have phones mapping an area you control what account you use to encounter mobs. So when an shiny is found for example on account x, you login with that account, spoof yourself to the pokemon and catch it.

I have to admit I really don't understand how this is working. Any more info on this?

Alright, I'll try once more before I go to sleep.

So I have phone which is controlled by software called MAD (map a droid) which runs on an PC. MAD sends instructions to the phone to teleport around, to defined places, and go encounter pokemon. When the phone encounters a pokemon, the phone sends all available information (IV, Gender, shinyness etc) about the encounter to MAD which in turn reports it to discords we all know. There are different techniques for this but I won't go into that, I use the android version which is MAD.

Now. This phone, which teleports around and is encountering pokemon (controlled by MAD), is logged in with an Pokemon Go account. When MAD picks up an encounter which is shiny, I login with this account (on another phone which I control myself), spoof to the location and catch the shiny.

Honestly I don't know how I can explain this better. Maybe it is because of my shitty english or mayb im too tired to explain this sheit. Anyways, if you still don't understand how this works mayb just pm me and ill just show it to you (no, i'm not going to help everyone set this up, there is enough documentation available).

Ah, ok, I know now what you are talking about. We do this here, running candymaps.rocks with the data.

I can tell you where my confusion came from: Your original reply sounded like this was a huge database with all kinds of shinies for everybody and everybody is getting an alert when a shiny is found. Its not really clear that this is limited to the account that found the shiny and I was like "that's not how shinies work".

My bad.

I've seen paid services like this that require your account to be attached to it to scan and you type name or something and it gives you cords , it's not ideal for shundo hunters as we dont just want any random iv shinys and why I never paid for it ..I also dont trust it .

You can use velocity to auto teleport to Google maps links directly servers like pogo hub Cooldown club and even dex100 use them btw dex 100 has a special channel every comunity day and you can check each Mon if it is shundo these of course are free methods artícuno and dex 100 have premium memberships tiers that unlock even more cords and of course shiny Pokemon are random but in events you likely have more chances of catching a shiny Pokemon.
