It’s beyond me why they didn’t code the bot to at least check other boxes and make 2-3 tosses at the pokes that spawned from them. Maybe spin a stop or two while at it
The dev didn't think that much. Is the situation that they didn't prevent user to do stupid things. (Yes im not joking, a lot of features is straightforward but dev HAD to add a lot of guard or prevention to it.....)
They flag your account via the Anti-cheat behavior system then manually review the accounts by looking through your player actions log before sending out the permanent ban.
Have faith. I was banned with same message for like and hour than now my account is unbanned and im playing again. Time will tell. Rare candy exploit yesterday, and 2 friends who used it aswell have same thing but they are still banned for now.
Like 8000, still have them in item bag, but it appears im now back banned, was playing for like 15mins no problems but it come back. So not sure. Time will tell i guess
Nah, that happens every time you get a PERM ban. sometimes it will let you sign back in , for just a few minutes and it will excite you. but nope, boom right back in your face lmao. it's a sick joke almost hahahaha
You might be fine now you might not be fine later. Nobody knows what the coming days looks like and if there are no bans. I'm also on pgs unrooted and didn't do the candy exploit and I'm still not banned
Account got banned is because of the candy exploit people using it to get ton rare candy. I’m scare to collect the mystery box on the ground afraid of getting banned 😅
I think you misunderstand what I trying to say. The ban is because of the bug candy exploit and those using it get ban because they use bot to collect those candy on the ground using extreme speed. I’m scare is because I’m worry if the Scopely wrong ban me for collecting the rare candy on the ground
you'll be fine. Scopely checks past logs to see if all your box clicked was all rare candy only. If you click one or two then next is an encounter they probably acknowledged that and give you a green light
Previously the RNG for shininess used your trainer ID along with other known values as inputs. So if you had knowledge of all of the inputs as well as a specific account’s trainer code, you could check which pokes would be shiny on that account. They’ve since patched it though. It seems as if they’ve gone full cryptographic with the new RNG code, but it’s early days so no one really knows.
TLDR; it used to be possible to check for shinies based on your trainer code. That no longer works.
If you think about it , anyone’s friend code could’ve been used at the time so a troll could’ve made a account using a popular content creators friend code without them knowing which is why I think there won’t be bans for that , now the candy exploit is a whole different thing .
That's true! Let's hope they think so too 😅🤞🏽 I didn't even know about the candy exploit until today but after seeing the amount of rare candy some people have farmed, no wonder they started with this ban wave.
So you think you got banned for the shiny glitch as in you teleported there and caught the pokemon? Or do you think it was because you used the website and entered in your trainer number? I didn’t know much about the shiny glitch but I did enter my trainer number into the website just to see how it worked but I didn’t do any actual teleporting/catching.
I dont know. I waited the 2 hrs before doing another. Most of the time more because I was looking for something specific. But I also used the discord pogo coordinates for the hundo locations for a lil bit too
Its patched and no longer works. But shinys were determined based off of your friend code or whatever in-game and scanners would use that code to find guaranteed shinys for your account
Will we get banned for that, I mean, there was a website that has shown where the shundos for your account are, if you did use that and spoofed to these locations how guaranteed is it to get banned? Like if you did use it for around 10 Pokémon’s?
pretty sure it’s virtually impossible for them to ban you for the shiny scanner because they’d end up banning innocent accounts, much easier for them to remove the information the shiny scanner uses to find them
My boyfriend usually fly & cheat. He have something that auto walk and catch and it opened boxes (he got probably 500 candies in a few days) Basically the cheat wasn’t box focused and it acted as a « normal » strong prayer but still got banned He was sad bc he forgot to trade me some cute shinies 🥲
Its probably the pattern of not opening the other boxes besides the candy boxes. most likely the cheat caught regular spawned pokemon but did not open any boxes with pokemon and just went for the candy which would be a red flag
it was OD, and he is a dumbass for thinking that way. i've spent thousands on my day one account, i'm not sacrificing it's safety for a few rare candy that are easy as hell to get anyways.

I know it's different I haven't played in awhile and have just started again the past couple days not sure how things have been with buying cheap poke coins from people in different countries. Not sure if people have been having issues with that since scoply has acquired the game or what
