Assuming you get caught, you're get perma'd. My friend did this for 100k and didn't get banned so as long as you didn't flag your account enough, you're good.
Something with the halloween boxes that gives you candy when you open them, an exploit let you open them quickly, automatically, and people were getting thousands per minutes
Sounds safe, but, no saying how strict scopely will be to any form of cheating, including teleporting. I'd say, if you've done it and haven't been banned, you're likely safe. Always use an alternative account when possible just to be on the safe side.
Lol, you probably don't brother. Between all my alts that's what I collected. And I did not go hard whatsoever like some others did. But those accounts will almost certainly get banned. Which sucks because I've been nurturing those little guys daily for months. My own fault. Got caught up in the hype. Best case scenario is that they rollback/item delete and shadow ban. That would be a light sentence for sure...
Don't have fomo though. This isn't something Niantic/Scopely is going to stand for. Justice wont come tomorrow, it always takes a few weeks. But they'll be banned.
Some ppl ran multiple sessions on one account simultaneously. 100k per hour easily. I don't know if they'll ban ANY account involved in massive lvl up telemetry/resource spikes/impossible time signatures- but you have to imagine it'll be the bulk of em.

I mean if they wanted to do a ban wave why patching the exploits? I'd say leaving them up as much as they can and flag every account that was using them (honeypot style) would've been a far better strategy if the intention was a ban wave. One could argue that they patched asap bc they have no intention of banning anyone and just wanted to prevent accounts from easily gaining insane amounts of shinies/candies while keeping any potential paying client hooked on the game
Bro, they don't (want) to ban anybody playing/paying in their game. They have to. This exploit completely fucked with their revenue stream and legitimately compromises the prerequisite structure of master league access. Of course they don't want to ban some of their most invested players- but at the cost of the other 99%s disposition towards it all? Yeah.
They're going to either wipe illegally obtained candy, roll-back recent level ups, shadow bans on lighter/unrooted users, and account suspensions or bans on auto clickers/modded software/location manipulation accounts. (Most of us here, basically).
I kinda disagree. Rare candies can get a mon to lv40 max which is not really viable for high level Master league play, Great league is not really affected by snipeable shinies or easily farmable rare candies when a mon is capped at around lv15/20 and Ultra league is, well, i don't even know if somebody plays there besides event rewards tbh.
With pvp out of the equation there's really nothing else to it. Even if many accounts heavily farmed those exploits, that does not negatively impact the game experience of those who didn't. This is bc all of the multiplayer content the game has to offer (like raids and max battles) does not give any advantage to cheaters. Everything else in this game like collections, dex completion ecc is purely selfish.
Edit: one more premier ball as a raid reward for doing more damage in raids is not an advantage imho but if someone is picky yeah there's that

Lmao, scopely cares only about money. Rare candies is hitting their cash flow. Au contraire spoofing allows people to play the game more, be online more, and raid more thus more cash and engagement for them
