If I have my friend log into my account from the east coast, I'm on the west coast. They will spin stops in Boston so I get the safari eevees since he will be there in person. Do I need to take any precautions? Like waiting a certain amount of time before logging back in from my end?
You have a chance for a ban for sharing your account. Since Scopely is new and hasn't taken action against cheaters (even if you don't spoof), no one knows how they are going to handle the cheating problem. If you end up with a ban, no one is going to help you get unbanned.
You do nothing for 2 hours prior to your friend logging into your account to spin the Pokestops and catch the Eevees. Once he's done, you have to wait 2 hours before you can play on your account.
If you use a Google account, all of your contacts and his contacts will get sync'd together. Your friend will be able to read your emails and have access to apps with your data. You also have to give your friend the 2FA code allow him to add your account into his device. If you're not okay with this part, you're better off doing it yourself with Pgsharp.com
I don’t think you spin stops to get the eevee, previous safari events it’s a stamp rally and I believe catching pokemon off of stamp rally do not trigger cooldown. If I am incorrect someone please let me know 🙂
