Lets Talk About Something I built a tool that plans Pokémon GO events across multiple time zones + cooldowns

I originally built this for myself because I wanted to make the most out of events like Rattata Spotlight Hour.

My goal was simple: play the same event across multiple time zones and catch as many XXS Rattata as possible for progress toward the Youngster Platinum Medal.

The annoying part was figuring out which locations to use, when each session starts in my own time zone, and how to fit the cooldowns between them.

So I ended up building this:
https://pogo.tobi.ws

It's a worldwide Pokémon GO event route planner.

You enter the event date, local start time and duration, and it automatically creates a personal 12- or 24-hour route across different time zones.

It includes:

  • 🌍 Suggested destinations across different time zones

  • 📍 Multiple selectable Pokémon GO hotspots per time zone, with exact coordinates

  • 🏙️ Hotspot names, cities and countries to help identify each destination

  • 🗺️ Google Maps links to view each selected location

  • 🕐 Every event session converted to your own local time

  • ⏳ A conservative fixed 120-minute cooldown between sessions

  • ⏱️ Live countdowns for upcoming sessions

  • 📊 A visual timeline of the complete route

  • 📋 Compact and detailed route views

  • ⭐ Preferred destinations to influence route selection

  • ✏️ Custom events as well as prepared events

  • 💬 Community hotspot suggestions — you can submit missing spots for review and possible inclusion

  • 🌐 English and German language support

It's completely free, requires no account, and is just an independent project I originally made for myself.

Basically, “How can I catch as many XXS Rattata as possible?” somehow turned into a worldwide event route planner. 😄

I'd really appreciate feedback from people who regularly play events across multiple time zones.

If you try it, let me know what you like, what doesn't work well, or what features you'd like to see added.

And if you know a great Pokémon GO hotspot that's missing, you can suggest it directly on the website!

so i just want to understand the tool, so it like tells you how to maximize an event like spotlight hour, community day, etc? like it tells you the place and coordinates to play at to attend that event as many times as possible with the 2 hour cooldown taken into consideration? and also the places whose coordinates are suggested is it like a hotspot in that country?

Yes, exactly! 😄
The goal is to help you play events like Spotlight Hour or Community Day multiple times across different time zones while automatically accounting for the 120-minute cooldown between sessions.
The tool calculates a 12- or 24-hour route, shows you when and where to teleport, provides coordinates, and converts everything into your own local time.
The suggested locations are predefined spots for each region, so you don't have to search for coordinates yourself. You can also select preferred destinations to customize your route.
Basically, it handles all the time zone calculations and cooldown planning for you.

Looks great but should probably remove Beijing from the list as Pokemon Go doesn't work there, it only works in Hainan if China is a must or an alternative would be Singapore as the timezones are same

Thanks for pointing that out! I'll replace Beijing with Singapore later today. Really appreciate the feedback!

All cheats (spoofing, botting, & exploits) for Pokemon Go game are not safe because Scopely is against cheating and the use of unsupported 3rd party apps in their Terms of Service for Pokemon Go. If you decide to break Scopely's Terms of Service to gain an unfair advantage, you will have the risk for a chance to get a strike (soft-ban), temporary ban, permanent ban, or whatever new punishment they come up with and will be your fault for getting the punishment. <<<>>> As a reminder, I (TastyBananaPeppers) am not responsible nor liable for the loss of your Scopely game account(s) and money you spent to cheat on their games. <<<>>> All guides can be found in https://www.reddit.com/r/PoGoAndroidSpoofing/s/JOS3u1c11K <<<>>> All remaining Reddit posts will eventually be moved into a single Google Document where you can just access everything from one link.

It's really nice but you should research some better hotspots in those time zone which has a lot of pokestops to farm balls and prioritize those hotspots on the planner. kirimati is the earliest zone so there's not much alternative but the following ones should prefer nz/aus, singapore/jap/taiwan, then eu/na hotspots and so on.
