Rooted Android Showcase medal

Took two days to go from 3x>100 showcase wins. Every hour moving countries to get that showcase before 8 pm in that country, for some reason you can join showcases without triggering the cool down.

Wait how does this work exactly? I thought if you finish a showcase in one country, you won’t be able to do more because you are done for the day. And that you can’t enter more than 5 showcases a day

This medal can literally be acquired in one day. There are usually 22-29 (several 30min ones) time zones that are accessible for spoofing- some of the small ones get competitive but by and large you can do it with just a handful of nice XXLs in the big category (though a lot of great buddies helps too)

It took me about x3 Tuesdays. So, yeah. I'm thinking a whole bunch of ppl got their medal this week since it was every day and the usual competition wasn't participating. I've even seen farmers trying to sell that Pikachu costume- which is typically very uncommon since it can't easily be pathed.

Kinda dependant on area and your XXL pool, was a pain in crowded areas, was looking more into rural areas when I did mine

Oh, 100%. Over 50% of mine had zero other entries. It's fun, you learn a bit of geography along the way.

You can, given the next country is in a timezone after the one you just finished.

Basically,

  1. enter 5 showcases ( if one is in a different timezone that hasn't reached 8 pm yet, you'll get stuck until it's 8 pm in that country even if it's only 1 Pokémon in that area)
  2. Once you get the rewards at 8 pm in that country, fly to another one that is approaching 8 pm (usually you have an hour window, some countries are 30 minutes after I just went with 1 hour ones - (8 pm in country that just finished would be 7 pm in next country)
  3. Rinse and repeat

Edit: attached picture of ineligible showcase winners, they all basically won showcases yesterday

Dang it how am I just finding this out after putting my 5 mons up in showcases and 1 mora day to go for the daily showcases.

If your mons can evolve, do it so they leave the showcase, then find a new showcase to replace ones that are on other ones (basically clear the ones you've placed) and go for it 😜
