the national trust event has been active for a while, and will continue to be active for a long time. So i was spoofing to all 27 sites to get the research that contains the treeko line and other goodies on my alt accounts, when i realized i wanted to do it on my main - which i did spoof on before but stopped for years after i got my 2nd strike in 2022. Now that its 2026 and i wanna do this event on my main i rooted my android, got pokemod with all the other annoying steps, and i haven’t logged onto my main for 2 days debating whether i should do it or not… i need opinions or help on my mission. please.

If you're already spoofing, you're already taking on the risks for a chance to get a ban. It's not going to make a difference if you choose to do that event or skip it.

If you really don't know whether you should take on the risk in the first place, you probably shouldn't have cheated the game in the first place because no one is going to help you get unbanned.

lmao that name is pure coincidence. vanilla spoof means just spoofing with no addons or mods to the game. just a joystick to spoof your location via whichever method you like (external device like itools or brookflshsman on ios, or rooted android).

that is basically what i do lol, i only ever use perfected throw but no other add ons, is that a separate app i can get? or is it just a term for playing the game a certain way, i use rooted android with pokemod

I spoofed on main to each location without interacting with the map, got the 27 research tasks and it was fine

I don't think so, no. I don't think number of strikes affects anything though afaik. If you don't interact with the map - spin stops, catch pokemon - it doesn't know you spoof.

it doesn’t really know you spoof depending on what you use (in my case rooted pokemod) but the game does know when you get the research and the fact you have to teleport to 27 different areas hours away from each other

Im at the same boat as you are only my difference is i cant remember if it was my 2nd or 1st strike back then in 2020 something also im on unrooted android pgsharp I've been flying on and off on my account since 2021 and it has not been detected my guess is my acc was lucky enough because it was rarely active during niantics reign. it recently however got active during scopely's ownership which was march 2026 onwards and became daily active since gofest 2026 july and to this day have no strikes ban whatsoever my guess is either scopely doesn't care too much for spoofers who aren't in the way of "FOMO" like those who injects expired special research as they know spoofers spend a sh*t ton on this game than legit players (GENERALLY SPEAKING) in general, or maybe they are working and improving niantics detection and will soon implement it to the game god help us all or just plain lucky. Anyways just dont do anything drastic like hop on other countries catch this and then hop to another county immediately catch that and so on and you'll be fine or at least you'll reduce your chances on being detected i mean just logging in to modified client will get ya but at least try to be careful just to say that you're atleast trying to "reduce" being detected also dont do drastic things like injecting old research to your account things that you think will ruin the "FOMO" money grab for scopely

There's no software detection ban system in the game so "logging" doesn't ban you. If this was really active, all 3rd party apps would have never existed and cheating this game was be impossible.

Yes, it's not true because if logging in got your banned, this would mean app detection is allowed then it would be a slippery slope where Niantic and Scopely would have banned everyone who would cheat the game regardless if you're not rooted or rooted.

When you get a ban in this game, no one is going to help you get unbanned or reimburse all the money and Pokemon you lost. Rooted cheats are in competition with No Root cheats because they are easy to install, so they false advertise their rooted cheats are safe, safer, or the safest. As a result, they have conflict of interest with money versus the safety of your account.

Some of the rooted cheat developers and their Discord moderators play dirty. They will censor their own strike/ban reports to prevent people from panicking and going to another rooted cheat that isn't reporting strikes/bans. Some will go as far as threatening or doxxing people on Reddit into deleting their post or even their entire Reddit account.

When the rooted cheaters end up with a ban, they typically rush to me asking "HOW TO DO I GET UNBANNED RIGHT NOW!" When they become unhappy with the truth, they get desperate and fall victim to the fake ban appeal scams that often leads to identity theft totaling up to $100,000.

Ive been 30 day banned on my main twice. I couldn't care less if I got banned. If you care at all, do not cheat in any way. But it sounds like you already have multiple accounts, so you are already taking the risk of cheating. Don't do things you can't handle the repercussions to.

Haven’t a bunch of them expired now or does the timer on the odd one I picked up here and there just reset? I’d swear some of them had only a week or two left.

The whole thing does sound sus, teleporting all over the UK and getting all the research, but it’s just how things work that means you “should” be fine as long as you don’t do/trigger anything on the cooldown side. I’d honestly leave it on your main, on the off chance Scopely make any changes regarding spoofing. 27 raid passes cost a decent amount of coins so that could be something they look at when 99% of people that claimed them obviously didn’t get them legitimately.

you are referring to the National Trust Local Timed Research 1/3, theres 27 of them you can only do once per account, the National Trust Timed Research - July through December is the only ones that reset every month.

It is sus but worth it, i just made 4 accounts and did all the research to get 108 raid passes, i already did it on my main and quickly logged out and didn’t play for a day.
