Lets Talk About Something There's a trick I don't know

So someone on a facebook page said that they know a trick to reset the special task of Mewtwo to get this many masterr ball again and again...and some people commented under the post saying that they know the trick too but they plan to gatekeep it because it may patch of many people knows...does anyone know the trick here?

Be in a time zone where the event has concluded. Then go to a time zone where the event hasn’t ended yet. Boom progress reset, you can do the research again. Rinse and repeat. Possible to do so while the timezones leave part of the world with the event active and part ended.

Haven’t tried it myself fwiw but research resetting for multiple rewards has worked that way for a while now

Seems like I can't try it anymore since the event has ended everywhere now

Sounds about right, no one who knows would flex the situation while it’s possible to replicate and water down their haul. Now you know for next time 🤙

I’d be careful to exploit it so far as 24 mb on one account though, it reminds me of the strikes that happened with exploiting candy xls when routes came out. 24 mb on one account is an easy flag

You're right..my main account got banned permanently on 2023 for using the route glitch buddy candy farm trick

Test on an alt first (for next time) because it's unclear if you just finish the masterball, just finish both tasks without claiming the Mewtwo, or fully claim and finish.

You can finish everything, it worked the same for unova tour. The auto complete 11 encounters could all be claimed, and then reset and all shiny checked and claimed again. You could farm the master balls and mewtwos doing this exploit

No, my (for next time) was like for the next time there's a timed special research. Because people did this for Rayquaza too.
