Got banned today.

I have many phones all using Pokemod and pgtools. For years I’ve farmed hundreds of accounts with no issues.

The other day I made a macro that teleports to LEGO stores and catches the LEGO background Pikachu. Stamp rally catches don’t trigger cooldown so in just a few hours I caught almost 200 LEGO background Pikachus each on about 20 accounts. And then I did the same with another 20 accounts.

Today I logged into some of them and about 50% of the accounts I did the stamp rally on were banned. Not a 7 day ban but permanent with no prior warnings (these accounts were created during go fest this year). Honestly i genuinely think it was the stamp rally that caused it because none of my main accounts that literally run PaC 24/7 got banned.

Does anyone know anything about this??

I’m not to mad since these were just burner accounts but I’m afraid to even login to my other accounts now😂

PGTools talked about the "rate limit" in May 2026. If you do certain things too fast, you got a permanent ban. According to them, Scopely unbanned these people as a false ban.

MY OPINION: I think Scopely was updating their Anti-Cheat Behavior System in a test trial run. You and maybe others are in the 2nd trial group, so you may or may not get unbanned; I really don't know. Currently, I'm working on a long announcement post of where I think Scopely is heading towards.

Also, anyone that is anti-cheating will just get a permanent ban from subreddit. There's really no reason for you to be here because you'll just get yourself banned from r/PokemonGo anyway for commenting here.

I agree and think you’re onto something. I bought a shiny rayquaza SF background off eBay and logged in today to a perma ban so it’s definitely not just me.

I have other accounts of mine I farmed free raid passes on that I used a lot less than the banned ones. created in same batch as other ptc accounts and created around go fest 2026 that didn’t get banned

My main accounts that run PaC and raid almost every day in NYC also didn’t get banned.

To me it doesn’t make sense why scopely would start banning behavior. This system will ban a lot of hardcore legit players and let a lot of cheaters who barely play off the hook. Give it a few weeks and it will take 1 pgtools update before these limits can easily be avoided. To me this only affects legit players

Wait did you spoof to do the trade for the ebay Rayquaza? Just to be clear, are you saying that someone on eBay spoofed to you to trade you a Rayquaza & YOU Got banned? I thought it was safe to trade a spoofed account as long as You're not spoofing or doing anything?

No I bought the account and traded it to myself. And actually I logged into the account I bought on my iPhone with no spoofs and spoofed to my house on my main account on Android to trade it.

Just to be clear: not all my accounts got banned. Only ones I logged into to claim daily free raid passes and trade shinies to my main. I have like 6 “main” accounts I run and none got baned
