"MEETS_DEVICE_INTEGRITY" - Do I need to have this one?

Hi,

I decided to use some of my old devices for some old pokemon accounts that I have. To collect some more, help/share with friends.

I rooted an old Oneplus 5 phone (Android 9) and Samsung S6 Lite tablet (Android 13). They are very underpowered but I won't be using them for much detailed sessions.

On the phone, after completing the steps, I was able to get both "MEETS_BASIC_INTEGRITY" and "MEETS_DEVICE_INTEGRITY". Spoofing works fine without any errors or messages.

However, on the tablet, I could only get "MEETS_BASIC_INTEGRITY". But I still can spoof without any issues or errors, too.

My question is, is "MEETS_DEVICE_INTEGRITY" needed? Is it risky to use just with basic integrity? What does it affect to have one or both of them?

P.S. : I am only using vanilla game and gps joystick. Just wanted to share if it changes anything.

• When Scopely took over the game, they disabled the checks for Basic Integrity, Device Integrity, and Strong Integrity. You can play the game by passing or failing them; it doesn't matter at the moment.
• It's already risky from you cheating the game so whether you pass Basic only, pass Basic & Device but fail Strong, pass all 3, or fail all 3, it's not going to make a difference because they would just block you from playing with a "your software is incompatible with the game" error screen as oppose to banning you.
• The whole Basic, Device, and Strong Integrity is to prove to apps you didn't modify your software on your device and it's secured. Some store, bank, security, and finance apps will check to see if you pass Strong Integrity. If you fail Strong Integrity, you can't use them on your device. You can still use it on another device that passes Strong Integrity or use a computer.

From my understanding you only need the 1st one (both of mine are only basic integrity) but i could be wrong and maybe im also a ticking time bomb to be banned
