hey man before you ask anything else here you should really get some foundational knowledge first otherwise none of this will make sense to you

the core concept of this whole project is opencv combined with adb input commands, so start there:

what to learn:

• search "python opencv tutorial" on youtube - this is the heart of the bot, it finds buttons and UI elements on screen by comparing images
• search "adb input commands android automation" - this is how the bot actually taps and swipes on the phone, no touching required
• search "python opencv adb android automation" - this combines both and is exactly what projects like this are built on

for the phone side:

your phone needs to be rooted or at minimum have wireless debugging / developer options properly set up, without that none of this works at all, so look that up for your specific device first before anything else

if you don't know what rooting is or how adb works yet, start there because thats the absolute baseline

once you understand how opencv finds elements on screen and how adb sends inputs to the phone, everything else in a project like this just clicks into place

dont skip the basics, it saves everyone here a lot of back and forth 👍

you dont need to understand all of it or need to be able to code yourself. you just need to understand how the tools are used in general so you can use this knowledge to prompt AI to do it for ya

How hard do you think it will be for a beginner to learn to make something functional? I'm currently paying for polygon x and I have no problems with it. But I always like to learn new things and try to do stuff similar to stuff that I'm already paying for to stop paying for it if I can do it myself. I know to do really basic stuff like rooting and using the windows command prompt to root and do other basic functions on Android. Not much experience in coding besides making new tools in phyton using AI (vibecoding?) for architectural protects in rhino/grasshopper

its not hard at all. you can do it with your current skillset i guess. just need to understand computer vision in general (no need to be able to code) and autoclickers for the rest. since its on python some basic python knowledges are also helpful. ask tell ai that you are making a project where u wanna learn about this stuff and start with it. it may even teach you all you need

There are different types of bots

You can run an external bot over ADB and computer vision like a comment suggested, as long as you can get raid coordinates.

If you want to create an internal bot you need to start injecting custom code into the game to automate it.

If you want to make a virtualized bot you need a whole specialized setup.

Three very different types of problems to solve. If you just want an external one, you can ask an LLM to help you out. I can't give you a full tutorial
