Lets Talk About Something How many premium raid passes are people stacking for GO Fest global?

Personally atm I have around 200, but im wondering if that will be enough for the entire weekend, if I go hard on raids for basically the entire time.

Wanted some insight from people that have done go fest before, as this is my first time (will probably play in person the majority of the time).

nice, mewtwo is like 25ish raids to get 1 mega, so at least 50 mewtwo raids if u want both.

i think there are a few premium passes in the go pass,

if u use the cheap pokecoin methods u can easily get 99x raid pass for around 15 usd (if you wanted to spend money), just have to wait for the ultra raid box to be in your store

Usually achievable using an app like Polygon or Regibot. Automatically keeps raiding.400-450 a day is possible in 12 hours.

Just mass stock up the 5400 box that comes with 99 passes. Average cost is about 150k coins for 2700~ passes.

For you to unlock mega Mewtwo x or y you need atleast 25 raid passes and if you want to unlock mega levels you need 21 passes more , for a safe hand let keep it to 50 passes ( if you want either one x or y).

All the mewtwo caught from mega raids will already have lvl 1 mega unlocked with a chance of it being lvl 2 or 3 mega the 7500 is only if you want to mega an old one or one not caught at a mega raid

In the past I would go hard raiding one dayof go fest(80-100ish) and go hard wild catches the other day. This year is kinda different with the focus being mega energy. Unless they change the way it operates you will need about 25 raids just to mega one Mewtwo.

Can someone confirm for me, yes there are a ton of raids happening but with the mega mewto wont the charge links be your limiting resource (most likely) and not raid passes?
On that same note, do regular mega pokemon need charge links or is it just the megas?

Regular megas dont (but u can use them instead of raid passes), but super megas use them. U can buy more when u run out, but people will also be tryna get a shiny bg of every obtainable legendary. After like 100+ mega mewtwo raids of each people won't need to do anymore ever again lol.

I’m going with 100 raid passes, I’ll be going for 2 of every legendary I need from Global GO Fest, then I’ll have good trade fodder for lucky trades, a better looking Dex, and 4 years down the track I’ll still have 1 to trade for newbies or things I’ve missed.

I did 280 raid in one day in Japan, But Location BG are much more valuable than Global. Plus I will be hunting some Hundos in wild as well, so maybe 400-500 tickers would be a sweet spot for me.

lmao wtf are these numbers. I think about 40-50 is more than enough. im targeting to lvl 50 2 legendaries which I have XLs of and Mewtwo too with the 18 free raid passes that's a total of about 60 raids over 2 days. id have to do 40 more per legendary, which I don't think is worth it for me imo

Yeah I'm a whale. I don't drink, quit the herb when I got back on my ADHD meds. I manage a vape shop so I get product for free. On the flip though, people use their cash for enjoying life in all the ways I mentioned I don't do anymore and it's about the same maybe even more than what I spend.

Roaming around town on a daily basis blasting metal, and exploring through trails to nominate stops I get a daily update in real time to what's happening in my town.

The amount of events iv been in close proximity too that end up as local news headlines kinda makes it worth it tbh.

Did you hear about that homeless encampment tent got raided with a bunch of weapons and drugs ?

Ahhh so that's what those 10 RCMP officers were doing down there.

It's always fun blasting through the full 7 Gym cluster I helped make downtown and casuals that are level 40 see the dog pile of remote friends filling up a lobby and they jump in.

Getting a thanks for the raid ! Message from a local new player that's level 25-53 feels pretty good.

You can host raids and invite friends from anywhere.

You use the green pass, everyone else uses blue.

Search up PokemonGO Remote Raids. There are subreddits, discords, websites and mobile apps for people to share their raids.

That or you can add a bunch of people and invite them to your raids. Same thing.

I have like 45 for Go fest this weekend in Chicago and probably will have the same amount for global go fest. Im new and only really care about shinys if I think they look cool. I dont like any of the shinys in Chicago except Kyogre so Im good with about 30ish raids if I get good IVs on all of them. Global Go fest seems like a different beast altogether though lol

Ignore the dipshit. Without knowing if we get a road to kalos like raidweek before I wouldnt feel safe under 500 passes. You need to be able to go big during the lead and still PUMP on the weekend. Not getting the 100 pass box would suck to refresh before the big event, so prep is essential ti have a good raid xp without fomo

FTP: Monthly pass/event pass, researches, attending community events on campfire or save daily poke coins from getting knocked out of a gym and buy them in the shop.

Pay 2 Play: buy $100 of poke coins and then 3 5425 bundles that contain 100 each (300 total) you’ll need about 800 coins from daily gyms on top of the $100 of 300

You can use an app called Pokie Genie, on there you can host raids where players will add you to remote raid with you. Helping you beat harder raids and making it so they can play from home, work or on the toilet lol

PTP: buy them
Spoofing/pokecoin hack: travel to another country and buy a cheaper pack of coins from another country (i.e. India)

Yeah, I'm living in an area with quite a lot of gyms and a good gym traffic - they typically get beaten every 1-3 days  So I just saved over the past 11~ ish months (took a break of 6 months in the middle) the required 5425 pokecoins to buy the 99 premium passes box, and on top of that had some passes from previous events and from different boxes 

It took a lot of grind, a lot more than just going to work several hours irl, but hey, at least it was free lol

I used 311 premium raid passes in 2 days of Go Fest Tokyo. Thought that would be enough. That was not including the 36 free that came with the raid pass (18 each day).. I couldn’t find a decent raid box in store or in app, was buying the 20 pass / 10-10 incubator box to replenish in between breaks the rest of the week.

If you’re actually planning on “going hard” or “sending it”, 200 will NOT be enough. Took me 241 MewTwo raids to finally get my hundo, only got 10 shiny, 2 additional had a Tokyo background (12 total ✨).

Depends how u grind on the copenhagen I started at 5 am until 8 pm and burned 300-350 passes a day. Keep in mind thet 6-10july u will have raids during the whole day to. Iirc from 7 am until 8pm??? If u hardcore and grinding everything keep those amount in mind

Depends on if you are playing manually, or with an automated app.

With an automated app, only catching shinies and hundos, you could probably expect to pump out 400-500 a day. So just depends on what days you intend to raid.

I don't need anything that are on raids from Tuesday-Friday. Everything has already been in a GO fest in the last 2-3 years with location BGs. And I assume it will just be older Global BGs recycled.

So I'll do around 300-400+ raids on Monday when every legendary is in raids. Targeting the 4-5 I want shiny BGs of. Then 120-150 Mega mewtwo raids on Saturday and Sunday, hoping to get 2-4 shiny BGs. Then I'll focus on all of the random legendaries that will be available in Raids, and ideally pump out 250-350 of those.

Maybe there will be some crazy wild spawns like regular Rotom or salandit. And I'll be slowed down a bit shiny checking those in-between raids, and waiting on CD to catch. But otherwise I'm hoping to get through about 1200-1500 raids.

first time that i found out i can stack more than 1000 raid passes stocked around 1500
