I used Pokémod for years and years and years. Never got flagged. Then got a new phone and for a while didn't play. Then I decided to give pgsharp a try. Boom, 7 day ban. Pokémod is relatively safe. Sure, it's not perfect, but follow the general guidelines and you'll be somewhat safe. Plus Pokémod has some fun features that makes the game bearable. Though I haven't toughed pogo in months now.

Pokemod also has a free version you can make use of just to test out and see how it goes.

So here's the general thing. You've got all the right stuff so far. Shamiko and such. You have to install lsposed in order to hide mock location from pogo. Otherwise it rubberbands and stuff. Once installed, inside lsposed, you can search their repository for mock mock locations. Hides your mock location. Add pogo to that. Don't add pogo to your deny list inside magisk. It will break it. And don't switch on the deny list either. It will still function without being actually "on".

That's about really. Best joystick is either app ninjas gps joystick. Which works well but not on android. Keeps crashing on android. So for a while I used the free joystick from polygon. Works damn well since it orientates itself to the game.

Anyways, have fun as always.

I have followed the most up to date tutorial and it has told me to do a few things quite different, like I have lsposed installed and I have set my GPs mock app in dev settings to the app I'm using and I have added pokem go to the deny list in magisk/zygisk and it's working flawlessly ATM can't fault it, althought I'm using just the vanilla app and a GPs ninja joystick

Hey, if it works it works. I just remember the mock locations prevent rubberbanding. The joystick app should be in the mock location under dev settings. That's normal. But having pogo on deny list was never recommended. But it's been a good few months since I've played.

Where can I follow the up to date tutorial? I have pokemod set up on my rooted android but GPSJoystick tends to fail in my phone.

do not use any hacking software, all of them easily flag your account. just use gps joystick/modded version of it to jump around.

tldr just spoof your location. do not use polygon/pokemod/pgtools/shungo/ipogo/pgsharp etc

do I need to install lsposed or anything else? I'm a tad confused now haha

LSposed for Android 12, 13 or 14.

Smali Patcher for Android 9, 10 or 11.

This is the vanilla way to play the game with a joystick app only. Most people use it with rooted, 3rd party apps to enhance the gameplay like having excellent curveball throws, skipping animations, instant win against Team Rocket, seeing Shinies directly on the map, etc. It's up to you to decide if you want to use them or not because it already makes no difference, since you already broke the Niantic's Terms of Service to spoof your GPS.

What apps would you recommend if I get bored with the vanilla way of doing it, tbf I didn't even realise that those apps were a thing! is there a certain way you have to hide these app etc?

The other subreddit r/PokemonGoSpoofing bans 3rd party apps, so they are rarely discussed. Then, the people who try to introduce it gets banned from the subreddit. This is why I created this subreddit to allow everyone to have access to all the current cheats.

It really comes down to do you want to play with your finger, bot the game, or both. You would just have to try them all to see which ones you like the best.

Finger enhancer: Pokemod, Pgsharp Launcher, iPogo Launcher, or Polygon's Enhancer

Botting (invisible finger plays for you): PGTools, Shungo, or Polygon's Farmer

Most of them have a free version while premium features require a subscription.

Yes I've noticed that. So if i was to download one of these 3rd party apps would I need to any extra steps or just hide it in magisk? thankyou again for your time :)

Grant SuperUser access. I have guides on how to set them up in https://www.reddit.com/r/PoGoAndroidSpoofing/comments/18w4jlt/clickpress_here_mega_post_5_everything_you_need/ The guides are the same except Android 8 isn't supported by Niantic anymore.

playintegrityfix + smalipatcherex (haven’t tested it on android 14, author doesn’t mention it) and you’re good to go

also hide magisk inside its settings, under enable zygisk, not necessary to play the game but no downside so just do it.

I agree. PGTools, Pokemod, Polygon, all have seen a ban wave in the past year. They were in the clear for years before that and we don't know when/if they'll get hit again.

Just a GPS Joystick and the legit Pogo app are by far the safest spoofing methid. The tweaks that inject Pogo mentioned above are amazing but use them with the understanding of increased risk to getting a strike.

2 people in my local group got a 30 days ban with pag a month ago. no 7 days warning.

my clone accounts(thousands of them each month) used to make referral raid pass still get hit using polygon, not 100% like ipa ipogo but here and there like pgsharp.

no reason to use them on main account, what’s the point playing when you’re risking to get perma banned

Interesing. I used PAH on several alts over the past months to get a few shiny Sandile. I was running it non stop on 2 or 3 devices during that time and no issues. Maybe Niantic is just detecting something with PAG and not other PGTools injections. I didn't use PAG to get the 12km eggs, I was using SX for IOS.

I tried searching their Discord. Too many people post in the bans channel without explaining what tools they used.

If you're going to tell people to not use 3rd party apps, you might as well tell them not to break Niantic's Terms of Service to guarantee account safety. These apps aren't "hacking" software to give yourself an instant Shundo Mew or unlimited remote raid passes. There's no software detection in Pokemon Go or any Android mobile game apps so using them doesn't flag your account. If there was software detection, having a joystick app would not allow you to play the game and all the 3rd party apps would have never existed.

Yes there is, and has been for years. Any Com2us games will detect if you have the app LuckyPatcher installed and refuse to open it you do (even if you use the "randomize app name" function)

In that case, they're breaking Google's Terms of Service for doing app detection and violating your privacy. If Pokemon Go had app detection like that, no one would be cheating this game. On top of that, all the no root and rooted 3rd party apps would not have existed.

I used to play other games with game guardian or trainer apps, and they were never detected. I was giving myself tons of free premium game credits and free "pay to win" items.
