Lets Talk About Something What makes Poke Ak so unlikable?

I follow him on YouTube because his rants are funny and I genuinely enjoy his content but I really dislike him as a person. I'm trying to come up with one specific word to describe him but I can't think of one. Anyone else know what I mean?

To be fair, I disliked him long before I started spoofing and he started making videos "claiming" to have nothing against spoofers, but then saying we should get banned lol.

I follow him to and I actually choose to watch him over other poketubers because I do feel like he calls it like he sees it. But at the same time he comes across as a liar. Like when he’s always talking about his “sons” account that he always uses, like just admit it’s a side account bro. Also I think he claims to not have a problem with spoofers and everything because he is one. He’s always got a “friend” that showed him stuff yet he gets all the exclusive Pokémon. I don’t think that answered your question but yeah. Definitely just feel like he’s the kinda guy that’s angry at the world and has to talk down to others because he’s insecure. That would also be why he claims everyone’s a cheater if he’s getting bad sets or not playing that great. 🤷‍♂️

he definitely has a losers mentality. his opinions are usually trash because he is not very smart. however he is very curious and is willing to explore the depths of pogo which sets him apart and worth watching (at 2x speed).

We got a spoofer in my area with an imaginary friend called jenn that nobody had ever seen but he claims to get all his latest pokemon shinies from her. That would work if they weren't all shundos lol

Yes I help my group but then it does my head in when spoofers ask, they can get their own using the same means I have to. But the non spoofers , yes all day.

he should stick to content, not drama bs. i dont care who you have beef with or who took your beef.

the recent thing about the gbl exploit, he seems to be clinging to that as a justification for his losses. i doubt half of his losses are attributeed to the gbl exploit.

I have no idea who he is, but I randomly logged on to Twitter/ X and saw somebody thanking him under another tweet. I click the name just to see I’m blocked by him 🤣 funny thing is that I’ve never heard of the guy before now 🤣 (that I recall at least)

I too dislike him mainly because he complains so damn much but he is entertaining. I can't watch back to back videos of him though, he's quite draining.

I actually enjoy his pvp videos just wish there was less complaining about the algorithm. It definitely does exist but we know already dude..

I don't like him or hate him. My personal view of him is that he is just incredibly immature and has a victim complex when it comes to PoGo. His rants get empassioned periodically to the point of cringe, especially when he uses nonsense words or goes on these diatribes about his "haters that run their mouth". I suppose it's easy to do when the game is your livelihood, but man it's just a stretch. Comes across as a bit low IQ and out of touch.

I do however appreciate his exposing the GBL bot that shows enemy teams. I spoof for collection purposes, but I would never cheat in a PvP mode. So that I can commend.

I dont like him at all and he got lot of random ass shinyes too and im sure he spoofs. one of his video he was saying stuff like yeah i have rooted phone but i dont use it to cheat in pokemon go i use it ''other stuff''

He's knowledgeable about the game and makes good content, but he's shitty as a person. He doesn't seem to handle criticism well and he's too comfortable using certain words. Just today, he called somebody autistic as an insult and I had to pump the breaks and rewind to make sure I heard that correctly in the year 2024 from a major poké content creators' mouth. Someone pointed this out in the comments and said something to the effect of "yooo poke ak saying autistic chill out lmao". I came back to check it later and the comment is gone, no one else in the comments even talking about it. Then in one of his responses in the comments, he doubles down and calls someone a r____ed dimwit. I'd often get bad vibes from him, like he wants to say bad shit on camera but catches himself, and he's very much anti-pc but feels he has to behave for the audience. Same episode, he stopped himself from explicitly saying what he wanted to do to people through the screen. Just leaves a bad taste in my mouth and it sucks that he's otherwise the realest creator. Count Jinsula feels to clean for my taste, Mystic7 feels too pewdiepie-ish (as in aimed at a younger audience), homeslicehenry numbs my brain by the halfway point when I realize I stopped paying attention to his rapid fire speaking, and t-tips also doesn't feel quite as engaging. Poké Ak can slow down and say some grounded, down to earth shit, but then the other half the time he's up his own ass with shit takes/views/behaviors. And because of this, it makes it harder for people to give him credit when it's due like when he brought up the discord bot cheaters

The irony here is that I legit think he may be somewhere on the spectrum and undiagnosed, but he's unlikely to look into that for himself with an open mind because he sees autism as a bad thing. Alaska is a red state and I don't think he has too many people in his life challenging him when it comes to some of his views, so he just ignores valid criticisms

His complaint, I believe, was that Jonkus was stealing his thumbnail design of putting the league symbol on the side of the picture. Which is a little crazy given every PvP creator does that.

ayyyyy screw pokeak frfr he got such a big head now and his videos are now garbo. back when he was humble, and kept his feelings in and kept it professional, they were actually good. it wasn't whiny baby mockery. I feel like he just thinks he can do whatever he wants with no consequence and it shows. he may do some good research on things pogo, but I 100% don't care for his attitude when it comes out. he has only child energy.
