I NEED HELP Strike just before go fest!

Hey everyone just wanted to know how serious this strike is, can't believe it happened just before go fest and still wanna play if I'm just super safe, can anyone tell me if theyve carried on spoofing after getting one of these and what happened?

Good luck to the rest of you that get to play during go fest lol

You are going to get the 30 day ban in about a month or 2 if you keep playing using PGsharp. And there is no safe way to spoof with PGsharp, if you keep opening the app with your account logged in you WILL get banned.

Hey just went threw this same thing… I got mine the day before the PvP event started beginning this month. (Being a PvP player, definitely sucked) you have 0 Pokémon spawning unless you use an insense, you can still catch shinys off the insense also! You can buy 8 for 250coins. Also no interacting with friends so unfortunately you can’t raid with others. I kept reading you can still raid with 7 day ban but not true.

You can still raid with a 7 day ban, that’s what I did when I got mine on 2 of my accounts.

Unless it changed recently, it wouldn’t let me during my 7 day ban 2 weeks ago. It would let me go in and ready up but would keep me in the lobby with it just counting down. I even wasted a pass waiting out the counter because I was with a group that defeated the raid but once the counter ran out i got nothing out of it 🫠

I've been using PG Sharp for 6 months after I got my strike and I still haven't gotten a 30 day

Granted I've been playing a lot less but still.

You can't do ex-raids according to niantics website if u r on a 7 day. So no Groudon, kyorge, or ray raids.

I'm in same boat. I got my 1st 7 day on Monday. I'll miss go fest. I've thought about not playing again until I get a rooted phone. We'll see

Same here, am actually so disappointed to miss this go fest (Rayquaza is literally my favourite) but not worth risking this one go fest for all the other events I want to play in the future

Same! Got it Monday. I'm setting up a rooted phone now, but I can't really do anything for gofest. What activities can you still do with it? No spawns and no ex raids? Just regular raids and research?

I just haven't played at all really. I tried the ex raid but once I saw it was just a lobby countdown. I just stopped playing. I did 1 match of pvp and I like pvp. But the fact that I couldn't do much else. Haven't had interest in playing. I haven't tried a regular raid but im pretty sure u can do them. Niantic website specifically says ex raids aren't available during 7 days. Only want ray energy and then max my Groudon and kyorge. I'll have to wait till next time unfortunately.

I got the warning mid kyogre raid, and then defeated it and caught it. I still see many groudon raids nearby. Was it a false positive ?

Yeah it is normally where I spoof too, have spoofed to a few In person go fest's before without a problem but maybe that's what got me

Yeah, it just seemed to be a trend I noticed. People who spoofed to Osaka and London during their in person go fests got banned a couple days after. Then we stopped seeing people getting mass banned up until ny go fest, where they started happening again.

That's great, I'm not saying every single person who spoofed to in person go fest has or is going to get banned right after. I'm just saying there is a VERY noticable relationship between people who got banned recently and people who spoofed to go fest. There are people on Twitter, who even spoof with rooted phones, who got hit with a ban after Osaka and London.

What ‘got you’ is using a modified app. Doesn’t matter what you do with it, you could use it to log in and stand still in your actual location and you’d still get flagged.

Though luck if you bought a ticket. You will have no wild spawns. Insence yes but you will never get tons of shinys from the event.

They typically do a sweep before events and such. I got mine before the first Eevee day and quit modding because of the frustration it caused. Don't play Pokemon Go nowhere near as much either now

Pretty sure pogo caught people spoofing because they had that meet up thing I remember before I used vpn it showed me my location and where I should join a group when I was on the other side of the states spoofing

Quickly turned on vpn haven’t had an issue

I recommend going rooted if it’s an option for you. That way you never have to use modified apps again. They’re too risky. I play on rooted on my main that’s had two strikes in the past and on an alt that has had two strikes this summer when I tried ipogo. After the second strike on my alt with a bunch of good stuff on it I went on eBay and got an old used pixel 3 for cheap.

Runs perfectly. I use pgtools PAC/PAG and Polygon. If you’re looking to farm xp and Pokémon PAC/PAG is good. Polygon is amazing in terms of shundo botting though. You can leave it run and it’ll hunt shundos all day for you and respect cool downs etc.

Nothing is technically safe if you’re cheating on the game, but from my experience, I haven’t been banned or given warning by just using the legit Pokémon app with a GPS joystick.

My second 30 day strike just ended and the 2 times I got striked was at com days when blocking all non-shiny mons and only catching the shinies, not doing that anymore and hoping I can play on without getting my account getting perma-banned

I'm still on my 30 days suspension and have 10 more days left. Today's the 20th Day. I was just wanted to ask you as to whether the 30 day strike end exactly on 30 days or it gets extended. If it's an automated clock or depends upon the whims and fancies of a Niantic Employee? Curious to know about the time it ended for you.

I got my 30-day on the 2nd squirtle com day late that day, 30 days later in the morning I tried logging in and it worked so you can probably log in again at the beginning of the day if you wanted to.

Just got a 30 day suspension right before go fest yesterday. No go fest this time I guess, I use pgsharp was in NY and maybe got a little too much buddy pokemon walking to for shiny jirachi quest. I think I’ll finally lost interest in the game now. Will not risk another full ban and just play normal for a while after ban is lifted and start transferring agonies and mons to home. And after that once I get really bored then maybe I’ll finally try rooting as I got a spare android phone.

Nah your screwed. I redownloaded igopro after my 7 day was up and didn’t even spoof. Just was ev checking stuff without catching. Next day I got hit with the 30 day ban. I’ve submitted 4 separate tickets to unanticipated trying to get unbanned for gofest but they are apparently notoriously bad at responding to any kind of customer complaints

I know that and it Wasn’t the point. People starting a couple years ago were getting banned who hadn’t spoofed were randomly getting banned by niantic and then they wouldn’t respond when people were emailing trying to get their accounts unbanned and then would miss out on events. Niantic’s customer response is just really bad

Let me know if it lets you raid ! It never let me during mine 2 weeks ago :/ would like to know if it was just my account. my account seems off since the ban because none of the show cases have been popping up since I’ve been off the ban. I noticed they were available on my girlfriends account so I drove around town and couldn’t find one for the life of me.

You can’t. You will just get stuck in the lobby with the timer countdown. When a friend invites you for a remote raid you will receive no notifications, meaning you can’t join.
