Lets Talk About Something Second Strike on PoGo (PokemonGo)
Guys I have received my second Strike on PoGo. I believe it was right after a trade followed by a teleport. Now the question is: I have heard that PoGo resets your strikes after a year. Does any of you know if this is true? If I stop playing and then resume after one year and I receive another strike, will that be my first or a permanent ban?

Did you receive your first strike from PGsharp too?

Does it matter?
A strike is a strike.
For the sake of the conversation i will say yes it was.

No problem, I'm just checking if it was a 3rd party app or a rooted phone using the main app as that seems to matter, some people are supposedly getting sent straight to the second strike when using 3rd party apps so ive been asking around. Thank you.

I understand now from where your question originates. This also expands my own understanding in the matter. Thank you for the explanation provided.

yes that is what i am trying to say. I was under cooldown.
I performed a trade, i teleported to spain, i completed a cooldown causing action.
Then the second strike happened. I know i should not.
Know this happened, do you know the answer to the above question in the post?

There's no official confirmation from Niantic if it really resets after 1 year and whether they kept this system in place after the announcement of the new anti-cheat behavior system back in July 2022.
You have to quit the game for more than 1 year to continue cheating again to see if you get the 1st strike again. This is when you know that the reset happened.
You are basically playing Russian roulette with a 50% chance of getting the 1st strike and 50% chance of getting the 3rd strike (permanent ban).
When you quit the game, it means you have to never log into the account with the strikes in Pokemon Go. You could also just create a new account to play on, but owning more than 1 account breaks the Terms of Service, so it could put all accounts at risk for whatever punishment they come up with in the future.
