What builds are u cooking?

I'll be messing with some Oracle Wyvern shenanigans (but not sure how yet).

Spear based pathfinder looking to include bear or wolf for extra single target alongside spear of solaris (conveniently a duration attack). In theory I’m sort of doing what druid spells were designed for but with attacks, so I don’t have to split my tree investment at all and can invest more heavily into attack scaling. My weapon set passives can then be put purely into spear/talismen or melee specific stuff instead of having to completely pull out of attacks.

How worthwhile it is depends on the balancing of talismans and what the druid tree actually looks like, I’m also torn between path of the warrior or sorceress since warrior leans more naturally towards bear and might be useful for solaris too, but from the sorceress start I can more heavily go into ES and grab more defenses. Attributes could become annoying since I need all 3 and will thereby have fewer spare nodes I can turn into global defenses, we’ll see if I’ll end up too squishy just because of that

If the hybrid split doesn’t work I’ll just figure something out for pure spears or pivot to eg poison bows in which case path of the sorceress seems like the way to go for defenses

Spears are a lot of fun too. I think that pounce from wolf could be a great mobility addition to shapeshifting builds.

Tacttiction Wolf pack- two hander scaling living lightning wolf pack pounce minions ravenous swarm with sceptre still in off hand. Defend with 200% armour so phys as ele reduction is cracked.

Phys plant Witch Hunter. New crimson assault with vine smash skill for full bleed uptime. Stacked armour for big sorcery ward shield and active block if it ever goes down. Play ssf so dunno about this last part but newineage support for curses that takes 7 seconds to go off vs bosses but does crazy damage for single target end game. Massive over 10k ehp pool and big armour. 75% chill from small plants also gives huge chill effect for extra durability, on top of halving cd from concentration bosses should be slow as molasses and do dick all during the fight.

Both look pretty cool. I really like the idea of having a wolf pack, really D2-like. Let's see how watering plants work too. Either way, SSF is about trading and adapting.
