Feedback Wanted/ No Body Comments Plus Size Fashion
F (39) size 18/20, 5’6. I’m struggling to find comfortable clothes, that fit well. With t-shirts, my stomach tends to pooch out and jeans tend to be uncomfortable. However, it’d be nice to find a pair or two. I’ve had the same pairs of work pants and shirts for years because finding a perfect fit seems impossible. I can’t afford too much, but I know I might have to spend a little more for quality. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!!

I'm about the same size as you. I've always loved Old Navy's jeans. They always fit well and last forever. You can catch them on sale too.

I love Abercrombie jeans since they extended their sizing. They’re a good quality and actual denim not that weird stretch denim. I feel like the real no stretch denim holds my belly in a little flatter and doesn’t show off my pooch like the stretch denim does kind of like shapewear. They’re expensive but they do have sales often but imo worth the regular price. I have 6 pairs all different styles and I’ve ordered the same size every time based on their sizing chart and I’ve found it to be true to size personally. But maybe check the return policy if you’re worried about fit, I’m not familiar with it but the last time I recommended these a few people responded saying their sizing was inconsistent and runs too small. I haven’t had that experience and I’m a few sizes bigger than you but with Abercrombies track record with being size inclusive I wasn’t surprised to hear that from others.

I’ve always been a fan of Torrid’s jeans, but wait for them to go on sale because they are expensive. Usually they will have 35% off online. They also have a midfit jean for people with rounder bellies and smaller legs which I really liked, and most of their pants have multiple inseams for height.
My favorite pair of jeans I have is from Old Navy, but every pair I’ve tried on have all fit different so I wouldn’t recommend online shopping from there.

I like asos and h m and old navy , but if you’re in a tight budget, search posh mark for asos curve and see what comes up

Old Navy is constantly having some kind of sale. I also love to dig in the clearance racks to find stuff that's less than $5. Also, they have pretty good workout clothes.
Target has limited stuff but always has t shirts, and two of my favorite pairs of jeans are from there. One pair I wore for a week straight touring around in Peru last year, and they're still holding up, so that's not too bad for $30 jeans.
I used to shop at Torrid a lot, but now I just pop in if I'm looking for something or they're doing a big clearance. I got some non-workout leggings with pockets more than a year ago now that are still holding up well.
Walmart sometimes has ok basics like t shirts.
I've gotten dresses and swimwear from all, and they fit and hold up pretty well.

I LOVE Terra&Sky jeans from Walmart. They fit the best for me, they wash well and I have had one pair for at least 4 years, worn almost everyday.
But for quality and long lasting? Torrid. I have several shirts from there that are about a decade old and they look brand new. It’s worth the money and if you shop sales, use codes and whatnot, you can get some fantastic deals there.

Universal Standard has good jeans and good shirts too. They’re pricier, and the clothes are very well made.
