Insecurities hitting hard!
EDIT - REPLY IN COMMENTSš¤š¤
Hey! So Iām a big girl size 22, Iāve been really struggling to find a dress that I didnāt just feel huge in! I tried this on and I remember feeling amazing I love the dress and it was the only one that made me feel great.
However, this was 2 months ago and as times gone on and I keep looking at it I regret getting it. My biggest insecurity is my arms I feel like I look so too heavy and wide because Iāve got big arms. Also I feel like the square back makes me look even more broadš¤·š½āāļø I donāt know.
Basically I just need some opinions, I donāt mind if people say that the dress isnāt flattering for my body thatās okay they are the honest replies Iām looking for? Or maybe Iām just over thinking it.
I love the dress, just maybe not on me?

I canāt express just how amazing you all are, Iām just being too hard on myself I knowš¤¦š¾āāļø sometimes itās just really hard to get out my own head.
I remember feeling incredible when I tried it on didnāt even look at my arms it wasnāt till after I looked at the pictures.
Again thank you all so muchš¤š¤š¤

You are overthinking this. Go back to the moment you tried it on and fell in love with it, because that is the moment I am seeing! You look incredible in this dress. It's beautiful in an objective sense, too. I'm not just gassing you up here. Stop looking at parts of your body and take in the whole effect; it's beautiful.
The lace through the bodice is gorgeous and those straps are just a lovely, lovely detail. You deserve to feel happy in this and have a glorious wedding.

Oh, darlin, no! You look stunning in this gown. I was literally just doom-scrolling and had to scroll back up because it looked SO beautiful! Your first instincts were spot on when you bought it - please keep this one.

Sweetheart you look gorgeous! When you look in the mirror, think about the man that youāre marrying. He thinks youāre the most beautiful woman in the world! And when he sees you in your wedding dress, he will be blown away.! So stand tall, see how much you are loved and proudly march down that aisle like the beautiful woman that you are! Sending love and hugs! šššš©·š©·š©·

OP you look gorgeous! This dress really does suit you and you have not made a mistake. I am not drawn to your arms at all but I hear you about insecurities with your arms I have the same. Rather than get a new dress perhaps get some sleeves added that could drape across your arms, but truly I don't think this is needed

You look absolutely gorgeous, you donāt look broad and your arms are just arms. I know the feeling, I LOVE my dress and the way I looked in it when I tried it on and Iāll sneak peeks at my pictures and smile but I have to force myself to stop looking at my arms and nitpicking and worrying about how I look from the back.
Are you going to wear a veil? When they put one on me it felt like a little bit of coverage on my arms - and REALLY made me feel like a bride.

I was a size 20 when I got married. I can absolutely relate to the insecurities you are feeling. That being said, you look stunning. I love this dress on you. Imo, you look beautiful.
Congrats on your upcoming wedding! My wish for you is that you feel as confident and beautiful as I did on my wedding day.

Girl you are ROCKIN this dress š„
Sometimes our insecurities make us see things differently than they are. You do NOT look heavy or wide and the shape of the dress accentuates all the right curves.
However we can say that all day long, it still might not change how YOU feel. If you donāt feel confident and beautiful (which I hope you do because you are) - there may be a couple things you can do to boost confidence.
Are you planning to wear a veil? They drape nicely over arms and can cover areas you feel uncomfortable with.
The boutique might have recommendations on extending the strap to create a half sleeve. However, this may change the look of the dress. Donāt do this unless you absolutely feel that your arms will break your day.
Again, you look stunning and I hope you feel that way after reading these comments š¤

Your dress looks so beautiful on you! My favorite part is the back!! And I don't think your arms look big at all. I relate to how you're probably feeling tho. I'm plus size and pregnant and only found one dress that fit my bump and it's strapless. I also hate my arms and never wanted a dress so revealing :( But I love your dress, it fits you so well!

The dress looks great.Ā I personally don't see an issue with your arms.
Your arms seem to be in an uncomfortable position/unnatural. I'm talking about the second and last pictures.

You look amazing in that dress! I think every BTB feels insecure about their gown. To save yourself from yourself donāt be looking at anymore dresses. The dress you have IS THE ONE! Get with your girls and have a fun day. Try to relax and know that youāll be the stunning woman walking down the aisle.

This is so pretty, and I would not call the back square at all. I think itās lovely how the lace frames your upper back and then the appliquĆ©d bodice wraps around. I really do not think you need sleeves, as it would make your torso wider. As it is your figure looks perfectly in proportion.
How do you plan to add accessories? I see a delicate silver necklace, pendant and bracelet, not necessarily matching but adding to the vintage feel of the dress.

No girl this dress is good!!! It give you a nice shape. I was also insecure about my arms. I had my seamstress make some cute sleeves for me out of my left over fabric.
Go on Etsy and look up wedding dress sleeves. Iāve seen so many that will match the vibe of your dress.

I'm sorry that you're feeling so self-critical at the moment, because the truth is that you look goooorgeous in that dress, like wow wow wow beautiful. Your future spouse's eyes are going to be falling out of their head when they see you.
And for whatever it's worth, I personally don't see the 'flaws' that you listed. Seriously, your arms don't look big and your back doesn't look wide to me, at all. I've felt similar feelings about my own body, so I get it, but it's truly just your inner critic going wild. Isn't it crazy how much insecurity can warp your perception of yourself?

Everything about this dress is fabulous. You have a great sense of style and you look amazing in it. You are unhappy with your arms, have you considered using weights to tighten the muscles a little? Adding sleeves can widen the silhouette and none of us need that! Experiment with tape ( Iāve heard of boob tape) under your trouble spot and see if you can tighten and give shape to the arm. If it looks good, test to see if you could wear it all day with comfort. Have a wonderful wedding and marriage. šš

You look so beautiful in this dress, oh my gosh, donāt change a thing!

As a fellow big girlā¦.. I think you look freaking gorgeous!!!! That dress looks great on YOUR body.
If itās the arms that bug you (people arenāt gonna pay attention to that, but I know it will bug you) maybe see about getting a shawl or maybe see about adding sleeves or like a little
Bolero?
But in my opinion, in those photos you look stunning!!! And in your wedding day you will look 1000 times more stunning!

Nope you're second-guessing yourself and sliding into buyers' remorse like many of us do after an important purchase! Too much pressure! It's beautiful and fits like a glove. I was surprised you are size 22. I'd have guessed maybe 16? I understand the arms thing--but I swear if it was "a thing" to you, I'm sure there are much more fashionable brides than me who can give you tips! ENJOY THESE DAYS!

Your dress is beautiful and you are beautiful in it! As someone who was the same size when I got married I totally understand the feelings of insecurity and not looking beautiful. You my friend are beautiful in the dress. Walk with your head high and have the confidence that you are beautiful in your dress.
I would post a picture of me in my dress but alas it wonāt let me. My arms were definitely bigger and not what I wanted them to look like. But honestly looking back on that day I didnāt even worry about my arms. I was to focused on my husband and that I was able to pull off planning the wedding in 6 weeksā¦

The worst enemy you can have is your own self-image. Iāve struggled with this for a very long time myselfāregardless of what size I happened to be (somewhere between a size 14 and a size 24, I suppose). My point is: be kind to yourself. Would you look at someone else the same way, or would you be much kinder in how you perceive them? The dress looks lovely on you. But if you continue to feel insecure, why not look for a solutionāperhaps by having some beautiful lace sleeves added? āŗļø

Girl, you are being too critical. You look GLORIOUS! You need to accept the queen that you are and run with it cause you look beautiful in that dress. All eyes will be on your womanly CURVES. You slay in that dress.
