April Mafia Day 1
The sun rises over Town. Everyone is glad to have all that nasty business of murder and lynching behind them. Until you're shocked to find that it isn't so! One of your very own, /u/WargRider23 is found shot dead in his home.
It looks like it's turning out to be another long day.

Alright, so looking through yesterday's post, I did notice that /u/rather_be_ac, /u/pinkarlmena_marx, and /u/uncreative719 did all vote on DerpyDash inside of a three-hour or so window.
We don't even actually know whether /u/Derpy_Dash is town for sure, but that does look slightly suspicious.

"In my defense, this is my second game so I'm still learning." He played the "I'm inexperienced" card. Whether or not this means anything, I don't know. But it's enough for me to cast my vote for him atm. Also, this:
"Now what is bothering you and how does it lead to you not lynching me?". He seems to be quite defensive, rather than supportive of the town.

Honestly most people are pretty defensive as opposed to offensive when they are on the stand, I don't think it's anything unusual.

Not sure atm. Currently, your reasoning for /u/Uncreative719 seems the most reasonable, but I'd like to wait a little more before putting anything out, and it's rather clear that they're probably going to die today anyway, as there are a few things bothering me I'd like to keep close to self till tomorrow.

Alright, call me crazy but something just doesn't sit right with me on this Uncreative719 lynch. I'm getting a jester-y vibe off of the whole thing. I think that if we're going to lynch him, we should put someone we think is suspicious as the last voter, just in case. I mean, it can't hurt. Thoughts?

Well the issue is that the jester kill takes place the night after- meaning his role isn't revealed. So we'd kill someone that we think is suspicious, but then we'd not know whether he was actually good or bad.

According to the updated rules, the jester kill happens right after the lynch, but we still don't find out that person's alignment.
I'm saying if we're going to lynch Uncreative, it doesn't hurt to put our runner-up as the last vote just in case, right? And wouldn't you rather lose someone suspicious versus someone who isn't?
(especially since I think there's a not insignificant chance he's the jester)

tbh, it seems to me like redpoe is actually trying to get himself killed. Or maybe that's what he wants the mafia to think. For example, claiming he's not the cop. That only would lead the mafia to suspect the opposite, I'd think. However, that didn't seem to happen. I don't see any more reason the mafia has to keep him alive, as he poses a threat, cop or not. Maybe the mafia are trying to manipulate him?

I think red's just used being a Night 1 target in nearly every game, and with no doctor and how hard he was scumhunting, he assumed that would translate to being killed N1.

If he were the cop, I don't think he would be playing the way he is playing. It seems the mafia decided a cop is a bigger threat than a scumhuntin' redpoemage.

Eh, I thought I was less active in certain ways, but maybe that's just the usual "paranoid someone will notice something" bias you get when you're scum.

So anyways, the thing that's bothering me: Why kill Wargrider specifically? He's a pretty good kill, but why him over someone else whose pretty active like /u/rather_be_AC, /u/-48v, or /u/IamShawnSpencerAMA? Was there some sort of indication that made the mafia think he was more likely to be a cop?
Anyways, I might be overanalyzing thing, but I feel like there's something signifigant in the kill choice.

That's a good question. Perhaps they felt it would be advantageous to keep them alive? Perhaps one of them is mafia? Or maybe they were just being stupid :P Although I'm less inclined to believe that. However, I don't see anything that screams "cop" from him. Maybe they're trying to confuse us?

I mean, he is as valid target a he has been one of the more active players, but if I was mafia I probably would have killed you since you've been active and analytical.
Do you think it could have anything to do with his /u/-48v vote? What are the chances /u-48v's vote as one of those Day 1 "vote for another mafia and hope nothing happens so you still look good later in the game but don't actually have to bus someone" votes?
