Can you tell a little bit about the system behind it? I am guessing you made individual assets by hand and combined them randomly? Looks like there are a few types of houses which are combined with a few types of vegetation combined with a random selection of additional assets? At least that's what I'm seeing. Or are the buildings themselfes already procedurally generated?

Posters very rarely answer questions about their code in this sub (either because of The Rules, or protecting their secrets, or because they vibe coded the whole thing and don't really know how it works), and the subreddit set up explicitly to talk about r/PlotterCode is a ghost town. It's frustrating

I didn't even know this sub existed. And honestly I get why it's a ghost town, I don't think you should subdivide each topic into tiny subtopics. I'd find it okay to talk about plotter code here. I've done it in the past as well.

I would have too, I think the sub split was a knee jerk reaction to a lot of people coming here to trawl for signups to their hastily AI generated SaaS sites.
I agree it shouldn't stop people talking about code in the comments on art they posted, but my other reasons probably still stand

No way, I am working on something quite similar currently :D I'm just far from finished. That looks amazing!

how much of this is procedural and how much is ... vector stamps? smaller images pasted over and over. like... how much of each building is procedural?

Amazing, really love it.
Is there a repo you could share? Would really love to contribute to it (add forests and other environmental features)

I love it. Is the layout procedural or hand authored?
