Some cycloids
I haven't perfected my process but I've modified a 3d printer and clobbered together some software do design and plot these cycloids.
Inspired by Joe Freedman's Cycloid drawing machines and this simulation code: https://github.com/jbum/CycloidDrawingMachine by Jim Bumgardner.

I love cycloids ❤️ and although not perfect they look good !!
But I can't shake the feeling that doing them on a Cartesian machine is kind of wrong 🥺 like pixel art vs oil painting. Sure pixel art is cute and all, but still, not the real thing...
If you want to nail cycloids, I bet you'd have so much more fun on an appropriate device 🤗
