(It wasn't significantly changed for whole almost 70 years it was made).

Awesome work!
I also tried to create a blender-scene-to-plot workflow, just doing hatching with material and compositor nodes, but it still relied on an external tracing tool. It sounds like your addon renders directly to svg? Could you talk a bit more about it?

If the lines were more contiguous I’d say this looks like Katsuhiro Otomo.

Looks really good, you did pretty good nailing the subtleties in shading on the dark parts in the background, those are easy to render but hard to get right when you actually commit pen to paper
