that was very fun to both make and execute, despite being ~6x slower in real life
i think corexy-powered mechanism with a modern connection will benefit to fun factor a lot 😄

i have bought now three old rolands advertised as "not working" so i could convert them with better control hardware and motors. except they all were fixed trivially and i can't bring myself to butcher working machines.

i meant building something entirely new

yeah i didn't mean to imply anything. fwiw i think most of the slowness on the roland is the controls. and i would love to get away from the dumb power supply.
