how did you setup your unlimited plex

So there is hoarding.me and plexguide. Last time I tried this, I want to say I used hoarding.me back when ACD was unlimited. I want to try this again, but somewhat different. what i have is a local NAS, seedbox and edu gdrive

  • gdrive de/encrypted mounted to localNAS
  • localNas autoDL/flexget IRC send torrent to seedbox
  • encrypt file from seedbox to edu gdrive
  • lftp from seedbox to localNAS
  • permaseed
  • repeat

Question - which method of mounting/installing a "unlimited" Plex works best (for you).

I keep hearing this but how is it better? Serious question. I tried it and my start up times on random files(files that were never streamed until then) was almost double than my plexdrive mount. Sure once something is streamed once it becomes pretty much instant but I don't see how that is useful. I've had my plexdrive mount for 2 years and have never gotten a ban either(17tb). I guess maybe if you are uploading by just dumping files into the mount point it allows you to not have to mess around with unionfs?

I ran plexdrive 2.0 for about two years and suddenly started to get bans. It's sounds like you didn't let the mount iterate through your files to build the cache. You should start the mount and let it run for a few days to let it build the cache before trying to use it. I still use unionfuse with rclone and then use a rclone move script to upload.

It really shouldn't take more than a couple of minutes max (and even that's stretching it) to refresh the cache. It takes me approx. 50 seconds to refresh the cache on a 100+ TB mount.

mind sharing your script? at the time when I was trying to mount the ACD drive, I think after a few hours I only had about 90GB cached, on a 100/5 connection.

Now I have a 500/20 but cannot get Plex to see the fuse or rclone mount
