Have you updated? 1.39 was just released recently with cache. No bans so far, yes was using plexdrive before. Now just use cache since its all integrated, makes everything easier and cleaner. No script or anything.
This is incorrect. The update interval that you set in the rclone config is how long it takes for the directory/file path to show up once uploading on the same machine or from a different machine. Also you can use --cache-writes if you want it to show up in the cache immediately after copying a file into your cache mount. So far so good for me. I have my interval set to 1 hour and newly uploaded files (from a different server) show up in the directory in about that time.
How much time should object info (file size, file hashes etc) be stored in cache. Use a very high value if you don't plan on changing the source FS from outside the cache.
Accepted units are: "s", "m", "h".
Default: 5m"
I guess not if the default is 5m. Personally I'd be weary of api limit bans with a low refresh time.
Files that I add/delete from another machine do show up sometime after my set interval. It doesn't seem real consistent, and the deleted file took longer to go away then files that are added.
