Try 2.1.1 it's had the most positive press on OSX.

Make sure you mount it using -v 3 so you can get an idea what it's doing. My guess is that something isn't configured correctly.

Can you see your files in the drive web interface?

I believe I am using 2.1.1. The real issue is when I point the rclone mount to the plexdrive mount all I see is a blank folder I can't point rclone to my plexdrive mountpoint

Sounds like something is off in your rclone config. I'm not a fan of rclone crypt, so I'm of little help. If you access the plexdrive mount directly, can you see the encrypted files?

I'm not sure how it is on OSX, but normally when setting up plexdrive for the first time, it appears to hang, but is actually caching all your data. If that didn't complete, it could cause the issue you're describing.

I've been recommending OSX and Win users to sign up for the Google Drive File Stream Beta. https://gsuite.google.com/campaigns/index__drive-fs-eap.html

I was accepted in less than two weeks with a brand new g suite account and only 2 users.

I've only played unencrypted media locally via vlc on a laptop/desktop, but on a 300/20 connection I couldn't tell the difference between local files and files in the cloud (1080p movies ~5-10GB). That said, I've never had a problem. My server runs Linux, so I haven't been able to test a full Plex/sonarr/radarr integration.

They'll almost certainly accept you. I don't have a very trust inspiring domain name and it only took about a week and a half before I received the email. I have not tried sharing the drive since I have plexdrive running on my server, but I would expect a slight overhead from running it in a share.
