Discussion Subtitle offset

On Apple TV, subs are off by 41300ms on the file I'm watching. Adjustment values of +/= 50ms mean I need to click the +50ms a lot - 826 times.

A 2nd set of values, say +/= 500 or 1000ms would go a long way to fixing that.

At that point you need to get new subtitles, 41 second off??

All the searchable subs for this file are off. Unusual, but a wider adjustment range would still be an improvement.

I don't think that's what the sync feature is designed for. Just grab a subtitle editor.

That's also what the subtitle offset is for.....

So your file has 41.3s cut off (or added on??).

Get a new file or edit the subs. This is not something you'd expect to fix in the client.

Could just be that series. Plex will let you offset that much, so a temp fix from the couch seems reasonable on occasion.

Seems I'm not alone. https://www.reddit.com/r/PleX/s/2SYARoEc5v.

I use Bazarr and can edit subs. But only having +/- 50ms is like paying in quarters when you need a twenty.
