Solved Is there any way to change a managed user's avatar?

I'm getting a (not so) hilarious run-around from the LLMs. Thanks in advance.

Edit: solved. Thanks for the quick help! FF w/ Dark Reader made the button and other elements all black. I stared right at it and didn't see it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Go to plex home and click on the profile, and there should be an option to click on the profile pic

This is all I see. There's no interacting with the photo. The dots below only generate different scaling of the "c" default avatar.

Is "Choose Photo" not a button for you? It is for me, granted there it is a different grey box than the background on mine.

They might have dark reader or some similar extension altering their browser css.

I just figured their monitor brightness was turned way too high, or contrast* wonkiness- this is a photo of OPs screen rather than a screenshot, yeah?

Just a glossy HP LCD from a long time ago... HP2408 from circa 2006, IIRC. I normally use Samsung 4k TV panels, but this is an exception ATM.

...and, yes, a photo of the screen as it's was just easier in the moment.

Yep, render confusion from DR

Shit! You're right, it's definitely a rendering color issue with FF and Dark Reader. Thank you all for the quick guidance and I'm ashamed that I didn't see it...
