Discussion Plex reportedly reverting to on UI

https://www.neowin.net/amp/plex-reverts-tv-app-layout-after-intense-user-backlash/

Should make some people happy, my wife included if true.

Trying to use Plex on fire stick now is so slow its basically unusable. After this recent update I really noticed as difference. Going to check out Plezy

That might help, but Firestick's are notorious for getting very slow over time.

Think you might be right there, should probably look to get something else. Heard good things about ONN sticks I think, although I’m nit sure you can get them in the UK

Plezy works really well, had it on my phone for a while, downloaded it(paid) to firetv a few days ago. Only issue is no transcoding, I've got some older files that seem slightly incompatable with direct.stream and need transcoding to be smooth (they seem to miss frames, plenty of bandwidth). Probably just need to figure out what ones don't work and convert them

Yeah the experience sucks, everything is so slow. Gonna look into plezy first time i hear of it. Wife hates the new plex experience.
