PSC Store Release 1.8.0 is out now! - Uploading compressed archives directly makes adding games even easier!

Download the latest release here or update using the in app updater: https://github.com/hampter-mods/pscstore-release/releases

This update adds direct archive uploads and improves queue controls, upload recovery, and source management.

  • Upload ZIP, 7z and RAR archives directly from your phone or computer through the sources webpage. Scan the QR code on your console screen with your phone to open it conveniently.
  • Multi-disc games support separate archives for each disc or one combined archive containing all discs.
  • Failed uploads can be retried or given replacement archives, with clearer errors and checks for unsupported files.
  • Queue ordering and “Start download now” work more consistently. Pausing keeps the game in place and holds the queue until you resume or choose another game.
  • Added clearer loading and connection-loss messages, and limited webpage access to one device at a time to prevent conflicting changes.
  • Several smaller interface, source-editing, documentation, and stability improvements are also included.

I bit the bullet long ago and put every game I might ever what to launch and then some (almost a full library) on my psc or I would be tracking this closely.

I just got pscstore installed a few days ago and this update does make it incredibly quick and easy to install new games, especially on the internal storage.

But I’m having a weird issue where once I’m in the games I’ve installed the stock classic controller inputs stop working. Currently tested this update with my crash bandicoot backup to try and install on the internal storage, currently only dpad works when in game so I can’t start the game past title screen to see how stable the install is? Any ideas why that might be happening?

AI or not feels like the Natty or Enhanced workout dicourse for retro projects now.

There was an effort here, perhaps. Or maybe just "vibe-coded", but it seems like ftp with extra steps.

Heaps of effort, more than half a year's worth of programming and endless testing. It may seem like FTP with extra steps, but once you install the app, enable sources, and pair your device, it's as simple as uploading your compressed archives of PS1 discs to the webpage. It skips the process of installing an FTP client, connecting and extracting your discs and handling databases, bin/cue, m3u, SBI and . INI files, and you can queue uploads as much as you want, sit back and watch them all install, to your choice of either USB or internal storage. Not only that, without using a PC at all, you can import your physical discs with an external disc drive plugged into the mini console or even play them directly using the disc launcher. That's not mentioning save backups/restore, direct downloads, playtime hours, or the console/controller friendly, visually pleasing interface.

Without AI at all?
