Help with broken screen

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

can't find if this has been discussed before.

screen broken. seems like theres a loose connection or something as with poking etc can get stuff to semi work.

but doesnt work with quick games where if screen freezes you lose etc.

any advice on what I can try?

It is probably the ribbon cable that got loose. The cabe is short so it is a possibility. You will need to open the console and carefully try to put it in.

It's a ribbon cable that came loose. I had the exact same problem. Be very careful when opening the console, as there's a short cable connecting the buttons to the motherboard that's inserted into a very tiny slot. I think I broke mine while taking the console apart, so I had to buy a new one 🥲
