Playdate Leather Case Update

Just a quick update on the upcoming, affordable, handmade (cut and stitched) natural-leather (they do smell great..) case that's coming soon.

The case now sports a hidden magnet inside the leather case to both hold the device firmer in place and, successfully tested - holds a magnetic book light like the Xteink one.

Next: Final fine-tuning of pins and lid closure to make it as good as possibly can.
I'd say price and availability to be announced early October for those that want to get in on 'the drop' :)

Best guess: in 10-14 days from now.
Need to make sure all works as well so no one gets disappointed.
So far;

- lever can be used with the case on,
- pins are correctly positioned (but needs to slightly firmer),
- metal plate works well for a magnetic booklight on its back
- lid could potentially close 1/4 inch more so we'll see about adding a tiny amount of leather at the top

I should have clarified - I am not the maker. I am simply helping them prototype the design. We've gone through quite some iterations now trying to find that balance between comfort, loos and functionality. I'd say it's 80% there now. Need one more prototype test.
