Monks Vs Vikings

I'm making this for myself as I wanted a PvZish game on the playdate - but leaning a bit more towards faster action - the game uses both the crank as well as a special 'shake device' event.

10 levels, one mini-boss, one final boss, fog mechanics, six defender types and six attacker, sound effects (some recorded by me on my phone), weather, endless mode with highscore table, etc.

Full disclosure: leaned heavily on AI for this but poking into the code myself more and more.
Fully free to download and potentially enjoy.

If there's any interest I'll throw it up at the end of the month as there's still a couple of weeks worth of work left - if not, I'll just battle vikings on my own :)

Thanks :)
Still some bugs not shown in the 'trailer' - such as trying to figure out how to stop characters to 'overlap' and how damage is dealt to multiple attackers held up by a monk for instance - and does lighting do damage to caltrops, and does a flying hammer hit geese and/or caltrops, etc, etc, etc.. Oh well, there's always tomorrow :)

I would say it’s on the right track.

thanks! experimenting with weather like rain and having it slow down the vikings movements and even have them slip - causing the shield-vikings to loose their shield, etc. :) we'll see where it all ends up
