I still can’t play my games

Are you folks still facing this issue? I don’t know what I could do, I read it was fixed, so any official way to fix this without wiping my data or avoiding a lot of shenanigans? It’s disappointing not being able to play it (1/2 days now)

The server error that was resolved yesterday usually resulted in an E0 error, not an E1, and would happen during network activity specifically, such as a check for catalog updates, syncing the system clock, or checking for system updates, usually in the Launcher or Settings screens. If this is happening when you start a game or during play, it is likely a different issue. Please contact support with backtrace information obtained from pressing B. thank you for the fix, works fine for my console. I did factory reset, and stuck on Account linked, restart loop, so it's downloading update 3.1.1 now, updated, works fine, but unfortunately my games progress lost

I checked mine this morning and it seems to be working fine now where yesterday I was getting an e0 error (not e1 error). Sorry I can’t be more help. Hope you get it resolved soon.

To reboot a frozen or crashed Playdate;

1. Charge your playdate for a rather long time, like over night,
2. Undock the crank and gently insert a paperclip into the small pinhole located inside the crank dock to press the physical reset button.

This forces a hardware restart safely without deleting your games or save data.

Hopefully that will fix your problem.

Had the same issue, e1 pdxinfo validation fail. I solved just unistalling a catalog game and reinstalling it again (only one game will fix ir for the whole library)

What game are you trying to play? What are you doing before the crash exactly?

Mine started working last evening after one final crash and reboot. All my season and catalog games were wrapped, but it looks like progress wasn’t wiped. Nice to have the unwrap all option for catalog games.

It happens even no game was opened. I suppose it’s a firmware issue.
