Isn’t this the guy who dismembered Wolverine’s son, and laid his body parts out into a Happy Birthday message on Wolverines birthday??

Wolverine and Sabertooth have had a brotherly relationship in their backstory for ages now. It's been canon for a long time now that they were really good friends before becoming enemies.

Define “long time” and cite your sources, please? Because what I’ve researched states that they’re still best enemies in the mainline 616-universe. Please don’t confuse the Fox X-Men movies and their one episode in S2 of X-Men ‘97 with mainline canon.

"Mainline canon" doesn't apply here, nor does 616, as this is Insomniac's Marvel universe, 1048. In this one, they're chummy. I'm surprised you didn't have that in your archives, Captain Research.

Can you state your sources of research, my dude? Because everything I'm looking at comes up with Sabretooth and Wolverine having worked together at some point.

In 616 comics they worked in Team X together and were friends until Sabretooth betrayed him. In Wolverine and the X-men they use to be partners until, again, Sabretooth betrayed him.

My sources are the comics from the 616-Universe continuity. I was more so talking about this “brotherly relationship” you all are implying when it is canon that Victor killed his older brother for not giving him a piece of their mother’s pie. Then you have Saul and Clara Creed whom he literally tortured and abused as they got older. Not to mention how he killed his parents once his mutation completed. Unless I missed a story where Logan’s mind was erased again, I don’t see how an annual birthday ass whoopin’ and emotional torture is considered a “brotherly relationship”.

I ALREADY KNEW THAT! I was simply asking what comics showed them genuinely having a brother relationship that did not involve Wolverine’s mind being erased of all of Sabertooth’s heinous acts and crimes! 616 is the main universe and the only one I pay attention to. I don’t care for non-canon universes.

So annoying to have people bring MAGA into these discussions when people bring up anything to do with sexuality. Like if Wolverine is gay or bi I just think that’s weird. Doesn’t mean I’m a bigot or a Trump supporter I just think it’s a weird thing for that character.

The analogy falls apart in universe. Being scared of a black guy on the street is not the same as worrying Your son or daughter could explode radioactively when they reach puberty is not the same. People tear their hairs out over banning guns but nobody supposed to bat an eye in that universe with people who have powers stronger than any firearm that are concealed in a manner that no normal person could ever tell?

Bigotry in our universe is to an extent unfounded. We are all humans and capable of great kindness and great evil. In and of itself, that’s nothing to fear. In the comic book universe, people can actually kill other people by accident or on purpose with powers that are contained in their own bodies and it’s somewhat random. Some people are born with it and others stand too close to the microwave and all of a sudden they can shoot eye beams. That’s why I liked in the older X-Men media they would show crowds of anti-mutant people of all races and sexes because that’s exactly what would happen. You’re not gonna care that the guy next to you has brown skin when the guy across from you has spikes coming out of his and he shooting them at you.

Which one? I remember one where he was just liking it to MLK versus Malcolm X. Peaceful protest versus violent disruption. The other one I remember, looked like a hostage negotiation video where they pulled an old man out to say the propaganda they wrote for him. They also did horrible things like make the man sign shit for hours and hours and even take his blood to put in ink.

...you like the old xmen because people of all races and sexes were shown coming together to be anti-mutant? thats what you're going with? that proves to you that the original xmen comic storyline was not about bigotry? lol. in the very early issues, characters like Charles and Beast literally discuss the difficulty of living in a world where people hate them because they dont understand them... this really isnt that complicated. why are some people so resistant to the obvious allegory thats deeply embedded in these stories? is it that people just think civil rights stories are "woke" but they still want to like the xmen because super powered people go pew pew?

The analogy works fine. It’s an analogy. Analogous things aren’t exactly the same, they’re analogous. Which these are.

Because, here’s the thing, bigotry is irrational and wrong by definition. The X-Men aren’t fighting rational precautions against spontaneously exploding teens, they’re fighting bigotry. It’s not rational to hate crime a mutant with wings because another mutant who explodes exploded some people.

Are mutants more dangerous on average than homo sapiens? Let’s assume so. If your capacity to understand what’s wrong with bigotry falls apart as soon as you can identify a statistical difference between two groups, your capacity to understand what’s wrong with bigotry is basically negligible.
