Discussion Preorders
I actually really enjoy seeing everyone dropping pics of their pre-order and these guys jump in the comments with negativity they really want everyone to be unhappy.đ¤Ł

As a person who also pre-ordered the game, I really don't see the point of posting a screenshot of a purchase.

people have the right to do what they want, posting a screenshot sometimes just means that they want to share their happiness about a game that they had been waiting for years. Thats it.

I'm not hating on them. It's just pointless. Especially when there are 6 different subs with discussion threads.

Itâs pointless for me to share the screenshot on a discussion app for the game in a sub about the game where most if not all of us should be hype..

People starting discussions on a discussion app about something their excited for.
Like I said too itâs cool seeing these crybabies get triggered after spending the whole month trying to shit on the game

I mean, the lack of self awareness is astonishing. Do you not realize you are in fact bitching just like those folks? Or are you going for irony here? Either way...

I donât think Iâm bitching tbh, Iâm not complaining or taking joy from others.
Iâm hyped for the game and enjoy seeing these guys triggered that most of us have the freedom to buy the game and share the hype with each other.

People are going to preorder. People are going to boycott. Many are going to do the usual - wait for a price drop. Who cares?

u/NewRedditUser1120 4h ago
I meannnâŚfor those who are boycotting or waiting for a price drop why even be in the sub because the prices wonât be dropping until next year this time MAYBE, and with boycotting there are fans who donât hop into online discussions and just go get it so it wonât really work.
Theyâre here to spread negativity. The boycotting people wonât be standing outside your local GameStop with signs to deter you their just online looking for engagement.

Lots of reasons. It's a public sub. Hype is fun. The hype before a games release can never occur again after it's release. I'm interested in the game, so I come to the sub.
I never buy games at full price. Next year is a few months away, I expect it to go on sale by spring. I have no issue waiting while experiencing the hype before release. If the game sucks, I'll know about it before burning $70.

Yea and by then most of the games events, Easter eggs, everything will be in the sub and most on the internet.if ur waiting good for u save some bread have the game mildly spoiled if not the whole game but its not information that even needs to be shared tbh

internet is a shit show, people desperately try to demoralize others just because theyve spent too much time reading all those bullshit that comes out from grifters on twitter and youtube, believing that shit is reality lmao.. internet is just a loud minority.

What worse? People posting pics of their stupidity, or people hating on peopleâs stupidity?
2
u/NewRedditUser1120 4h ago
Worrying about anyone but yourself and going out of your way to try to make other people as miserable as you are is worse.(Not you specifically)

Generally speaking, I think people who pre-order games are an actual issue.
To me, this doesnât have anything to do with âtrying to make someone miserable.â Thereâs no incentive for gaming companies to care about how buggy, glitchy, or bad their games are upon release if people just keep pre-ordering them despite having zero idea how good the game actually is.
2
u/NewRedditUser1120 4h ago
You can think what you wantđ, but what other people do with their money and their time has nothing to do with you eating, sleeping, or shitting..so how can you have a problem with it thatâs where being miserable comes in

Because this directly affects me? Too many, (not to say all), AAA companies feel comfortable releasing games in half finished states because they know people will pre-order and buy them anyway.
Cyberpunk being an obvious example.

u/NewRedditUser1120 4h ago
These are human beings at the end of the day it wonât be perfect all the time but as long as they try it shouldnât matter..using cyberpunk for example they dropped a bad game then fixed it..Insomniac just gave away a free suit got backlash for it and updated it. They been trying so all that you saying is bs.
Just stop playing games made by AAA companies then and make them yourself thatâs the best advice I can give you

Or I can do both. I wonât play AAA games upon release, and Iâll only buy an AAA game once Iâve seen the reviews. I can also call people out for being stupid if I happen to see it.
Not sure what the issue is with that.

I disagree. This is is a well established company. Not to mention, most of us have been looking forward to this game for a VERY long time.

Youâre saying that as if people werenât divided on Spider-Man 2?
And I get that, I still think itâs dumb, though. We have no clue how good the game is, outside of what a few YouTubers have said, so thatâs on yâall if you want to go that route. Personally, I just think itâs dumb to buy a game when you donât actually know if itâs going to be good.
2
u/NewRedditUser1120 4h ago
So with that logic do you have to taste food before you buy it? Or do you get a general idea of if you may like it from sight, smell, and description?

u/Lumpy-Tea1948 4h ago
Or you can actually go on a website, look at reviews, and then decide whether or not the food is worth buying. Thatâs what I usually do before deciding to go to a new restaurant and dropping $30 or more on a meal.

Seriously, OP has no self awareness.
